Nice podcast, Tom. Your best so far.

The worst part about the playoffs is the TV broadcast being turned over to NBC. Those guys aren’t nearly as good as Rick Peckham and Brian Engblum.

So, maybe just a little concern the team has lost a bit of it’s spark, even though they continue to win. Skating speed is down and their passing isn’t as crisp over the last few weeks. It came back briefly during the 3rd period of the Montreal game when they looked recharged. I’m guessing they are coasting a bit until the playoffs starts.

I hope Cooper relies on his veterans, guys like Stralman, Hedman, Paquette, Johnson and even Killorn. That guy always seems to come through in critical times.

But the absolute key is going to be Steven Stamkos. He has got to shine. I don’t want to see him disappear during the playoffs.

And wouldn’t it be great if “The Big Cat” plays lights-out?

Thanks for a great season Tampa Bay Lightning. You guys are a class act.

I’ll be at the game Friday night. I pretty much expect a sweep in the first round.
    BOLTS!!!
