Joe’s good friend Jason McIntyre, the Lord of TheBigLead.com, decided to use his gambling talents to see where some name free agents will land this week. Legal tampering begins at noon today and the free agency dinner bell rings at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Joe gives props to McIntyre for being creative and knowing where the importance of a defense lies. McIntyre believes the Bucs may have a replacement for Gerald McCoy in mind this week. And that would be defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson.
Sheldon Richardson, DL – Tampa Bay Bucs. Richardson was a first round pick who had a dominant start to his career, but let it all go to his head and he’s bounced around to Seattle and Minnesota since. Is he the replacement for 31-year old Gerald McCoy?
This doesn’t add up for Joe. He’s expensive, not much better if at all better, and is only three years younger than GMC. Joe can see the Bucs moving on from GMC if they have someone younger to replace him, such as Houston freak Ed Oliver at No. 5 in the draft. And use cash set aside to play GMC to instead pay a defensive end.
The only way this makes any sense to sign Richardson is that Todd Bowles coached him in New York and thinks he can get the most out of him.

Wow stout way to be a prick. I like reading articles like this. Stuff that us bucs fan dont have time to search for. You can just come to this site and find all articles about the bucs from every corner of the internet no matter how far out there it may be. It’s what makes this site my go to for all bucs RUMORS and NEWS. Joe even gives us articles if we are talked about on Sirius radio. I personally visit this site at least 20 times a day. And like seeing any article no matter how relevant as long as it’s bucs news. How can you condemn the owner of a bucs news website for a story pertaining to bucs news. Because you don’t agree with the opinion. Go visit pewter report and get maybe one new story a day if you don’t like this website.

I’d add Richardson if we plan on trading down, drafting Greedy Williams or Cody Ford to play Right Guard. That way we can grab a CB or RG with the 2nd pick and draft Vosean Joseph to replace Kwon Alexander in the 3rd rd (he should still be there)
