New NFL Record For DeSean Jackson

October 28th, 2018

“Jason, man, if you can’t trade a guy with my talent for a second-round pick, then you’re doing something wrong.”

DeSean Jackson continues to deliver historical performances for Bucs fans.

Last week it was busting 10,000 yards for his career, only the 47th man in history to claim that mark.

Today, Jackson connected on a 60-yard touchdown bomb from Jameis Winston. (Video below)

That TD launched Jackson past  Jerry Rice on the all-time list for touchdowns of 60 yards or more.

Think about that and the long history of the NFL.

No, Joe doesn’t want to see Jackson traded. And no, Joe doesn’t believe Jackson reportedly asking for a trade means he hates it here in Tampa and isn’t giving 100 percent.

Jackson can catch. Jackson is productive. The fancy official NextGen data proves that Jackson remains one the fastest men in the league. Joe has no interest in getting rid of good players unless the circumstances are extremely unique.

Kudos to Jackson, who is on pace for 1,100 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns this season.

Put Fitz in so he can break some more

  2. Tom Edrington Says:

Wonder if D-Jax thinks Jameis is “an elite talent”

  3. Bucs fan #7423 Says:

Put Fitzpatrick in so he can break some more

  4. HowToSpellRhonde Says:

Jason Licht has an enormous head.

  5. TheBucsAnthem Says:

i hope you can get a 2nd rd pick for DJAX

    …….but highly unlikely

Trade him for 3rd rd pick and servieable rb or cb

  6. TheBucsAnthem Says:

JASON HAS A HUGE HEAD………………………(insert joke here)

  7. Sweeptheleg Says:

All you idiots that were talking about playoffs and 10 or 11 wins.

What pair of eyes were you using?

Anyone with a brain knew this was a 6 win team. I told every single one of you that were talking about Winston “balling out” that you were gonna be really disappointed.

    Well BOOM!!

    Told your stupid as sses

  8. Mulberry Buc Fan Says:

Oh I’m sure it was because Winston wasn’t getting him the ball on deep routes. Remember Jackson was supportive of keeping Ryan as the started cause he was getting the long ball from him and not Winston. And now finally Jameis hit him today but seems more of a fluke than routine. We seen what Ryan did today just coming off the bench.

  9. JabooBuc Says:

If they plan to start Fitz the rest of the way, and they would be crazy not to, then you have to keep DJax. He does add a dimension that they need.

One thing i do not like about him though is he is a bit soft. On the bomb from Jameis that fell incomplete, if DJax makes any kind of effort to get to that ball he draws a PI The Safety wasn’t even looking back. Instead, he tried to run around him and drew little contact. Those types of things can help your QB but i digress.

  10. Buc believer Says:

    Yawn!!! Who the Fu… cares.

  11. rfdes Says:

Another attempt to sugar-coat another loss. Much too early after another f^&kin loss to boot-lick Jackson. I could care less if he had 100,000 career yards. Write this article towards the end of the week, after I sober up…

  12. WalkdaPlank Says:

If you plan on keeping America’s Turnover Machine in at QB, trade Jackson. I’m sure Gruden would be stupid enough to cough up something good for him he loves old WR’s.

Otherwise if you keep Fitz in Jackson’s numbers are sure to go up and he won’t be whining anymore.

  13. SchwiftyBuc Says:

I thought maybe Jameis would level out after finally hitting Jackson for a long TD. Boy I was I wrong. I’m not an FSU fan. I however have been a huge fan of Jameis Winston during his tenure as a Buc. That changed a lot today. I cannot defend him and his erratic play anymore. 2 Picks from overthrows. And 2 wtf were you even thinking picks lost us this game all by himself.

I truly thought Jameis had turned the corner when he played so phenomenally well in this preseason, turns out I was wrong there too. Sad times are these.

  14. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Schwifty, I accept your apology. Jay Miss has been inaccurate for the last 5 years. He was great the year FSU won the National Championship though.

  15. TheBucsAnthem Says:

Last showed me Jameis was not a Franchise QB

    Here’s my thought process:

    Year 1 – he’s a rookie and he’s learning…..he gets a pass for being bad

    Year 2 – new coaching regime…..still learning….but should’ve improved?

Year 3 – Will be significantly better – should not make many mistakes

Year 4 – Absolutely ZERO excuses for his play, he should know everything

    ————————————————————————————

    Jameis has regressed

He’s still inaccurate and is a turnover machine

………………….if hasn’t improved by now, then he never will………he’ll always be Jameis the turnover machine

I think Jameis is CFL ready

  16. Sweeptheleg Says:

    Schwifty

Welcome back to reality. We’ve been here the whole time.

  17. Resurrection of Duff Says:

Well I don’t know this for a fact but congratulations to the Joe’s for having some kind of record day. I’m sure their servers were smoking.

And yes thanks to Jameis “I Got To Get Better” Winston. SMH

  18. Duthsty Rhothdes Says:

Licht looks like shrek & he apparently does personnel moves about as well as shrek

  19. Resurrection of Duff Says:

But if Jameis goes then Joe will go into full blown panic. LOL

  20. orlbucfan Says:

    Big deal.

  21. stpetebucsfan Says:

    Sweep the leg…

What the hell is wrong with you? You wish to torment Buc FANS to PROVE your football knowledge.

I’ve been in the middle of the JW debate since the beginning…by middle I mean I’ve never been a hater but I”m not blind. Still I’m a freaking Bucs fan and so I maintained HOPE.

So forgive me but bite my rosy red Irish arse…you are not any kind of success for prognosticating on a freaking sports blog and you took what was a 50-50 prop and so far look like you’ve selected the right side.

But to come on a fan blog simply to gloat over your SUPPOSED expertise on a day when TRUE Bucs fans are suffering is just being a major DIK.

  22. Pit Says:

Need to get rid of America’s garbage.

  23. Duke Silver Says:

Now let’s get DJAX a QB. America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston is, well, not making America Great Again.
