Jordan Whitehead Highlights

April 28th, 2018

The Bucs got their safety. Sort of.

This time the Bucs grabbed a safety/offensive slash guy from the ACC and a once powerhouse program of Pitt.

Enjoy watching him in the video below.

I would have picked Shaquiem Griffin.

  2. First Down Tampa Bay Says:

Licht has been on a mission to overhaul the Dline and Secondary, and he has resoundingly succeeded.

    See. The Licht!

  3. NFLNut Says:

Personally, I would have taken RONNIE HARRISON instead of MJ Stewart and ANTHONY AVERETT instead of Jordan Whitehead … but we’ll see what happens!

  4. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

    DOUBLE THAT ON GRIFFIN

  5. JJBucfan Says:

Triple Down on Griffin (or Josh Sweat)

  6. Dewey Selmon Says:

Dude has more offensive highlights than defensive highlights. Can he return kicks?

  7. NFLNut Says:

Whitehead may be our starting SS and the 3rd best RB on out team … I’m kidding but not really …

    He looks amazing!!

    Ball-Hawk!

We haven’t had a freak centerfielder since Tanard Green- Jackson.

Darrell Revis is his cousin! Revis is arguably one of the greatest DB’s of ALL-TIME. So, Jordan has a good advisor and teacher to help him.

He looks very quick and aggressive. He also looks like a very talented RB!!

We got a new-Deion! I love it! A Belicheck type pick!

He looks LEGIT. Check these different highlights.

Fearless, fast, amazing fundamentals. WR like hands. RB like toughness.

    Love this pick!!!

A bit of a weed problem I believe led to him being suspended for a few games at Pitt.

Would I have taken Ronnie Harrison over MJ Stewart and Anthony Averett over Jordan Whitehead? Yes.

HOWEVER, I LOVE the draft Licht is having and think the Bucs have been DRASTICALLY UPGRADED.

Licht completely fixed the D-Line with his offseason moves and the Viti Vea signing.

He massively upgraded the O-Line and running game by signing Jensen, moving Marpet back to guard, drafting Alex “the bouncer” Kappa and adding possibly the 2nd best RB in the draft in Ronald Jones II

What was left to fix? The defensive backfield and Licht has added Carlton Davis, MJ Stewart and Jordan Whitehead, all three of which could literally start in our horrible defensive backfield, and at the very least give us a lot more quality players and depth.

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT draft so far!

  12. SB Says:

There went Josh Sweat to the Eagles

  13. Red86 Says:

I like this pick. SS is the spot for him. Looks like a taller Earl Thomas.

I wouldn’t pick Shaq Griffin with a draft pick. If he failed, then you know y’all going to be talking about why he drafted a guy with one hand. If he went undrafted, then why not.

  14. SB Says:

I have a feeling that we take Griffen next if he is there.

  15. SB Says:

I don’t know Red86, that kid has been proving people wrong his whole life. No reason for him to quit now.

  16. unbelievable Says:

    ^ Exactly

He’s a finisher. And he put up 18.5 sacks just last season alone! He can line up as a LB and even play some pass defense (with 1 fkn hand!)

    Go get him Licht!

Browns have Cheech and Chong split wide

LoL nice one. Didn’t get it until I saw that they drafted Callaway. Jeesh Callaway, Josh Gordon, Joe Mixon. But hey, it is Cleveland!

  18. NFLNut Says:

Shaq or Desmond Harrison would be cool … but I trust Licht and am excited to see who he picks regardless

  19. SOEbuc Says:

We’re stacked at D-line ppl. No need to go for Shaq Griffin with the fourth. We needed a safety pick in the fourth and now we need more o-line. And Jason comes through a lot with his fourth round picks.

  20. ForgetU Says:

Joe Mixon plays for the Bengals!

  21. EA Says:

This is a copy-cat league, jags and eagles had success having good depth at D-Line, I’m all for loading the trenches.
This kid from Pitt seems to be versatile, maybe he can help on some kickoff/punt returns.

  22. SB Says:

Lol…….that’s right. Thanks for the correction ForgetU. Guess the color orange threw me off 🙂

  23. Red86 Says:

Not questioning his heart. It just that Shaq Griffin is now going up against a bunch of all Americans, heisman winners and candidates, all (insert conference) 1st and 2nd 3rd teams, All pros, nfl mvps, and etc. The weakest player could be a star in college if they were allowed to go back and play.

I say that to show how he has bigger odds to go against in the NFL. I predict that if he’s drafted he will go around 6th or 7th.

  24. King C Says:

    Why pass on Josh Sweat?

  25. Dubcity06 Says:

    Looks good. Like a playmaker

  26. Tony from Los Angeles Says:

This guy is depth/special teams – that’s all. Let’s not get delusions of grandeur and annoint every pick a future good starter.

I think this was a reach as well. I wish Licht had kept going BPA instead of just grabbing the next guy on his DB board over the last 4 picks.

There were some stellar guys on Dline and Oline that dropped. They may not have been need – but talent always trump reaches.

Let’s hope for the best – but I feel like the Bucs greatly improved their DB depth without necessarily improving their starting lineup at DB. Let’s hope the improved pass rush covers up for that enough.

I still think the Bucs need to bring in a vet at safety (reid), RB (CJ, Demarco), and a good depth swing tackle for the o-line to round things off nicely.

FIX THE TRENCHES, FIX THE BUCS!!

  27. JimmyJack Says:

Lots of ways they can use this guy. I’m sure they already know what they wanna do. Very interesting to see what it will be.

  28. MadMax Says:

Yeah, I like this kid….very versatile. And if all else fails at RB, there you go. Good pick. Welcome aboard Jordan!

  29. Architek Says:

    I like this kid!
