With Barkley and Chubb gone, this was the move to make. We took Buffalo to the cleaners. I couldn’t be happier with how the first round went. Another magnificent draft day move by Licht. Just don’t use one of those extra picks to move up for a kicker!!
The poll shows almost unanimous support for this pick. That’s a good thing because drafting Derwin James at #7, which was too high, would have divided this fan base like no other. It’s also great to see how wrong all the draft prognosticators were. Schadenfreude!
