The All-Star game felt like a genuinely exciting event, I interacted with many people who went and enjoyed their time there. Plus Gasparilla and having Brian Boyle return to Amalie was amazing, that dude’s a class act. Whereas this Pro Bowl felt like any other… bleh.
Skewed sample just looking at folks visiting joebucsfan but ok. Yes there are more football fans in this town but lightning are a far superior organization from the top down.
We are mo longer wasting money on 4 club seats at RJS. The money is going to the Bolts…a world class organization. Not dead beat owners like the Glazers [be nice — Joe].
Liked the format of their game having divisions competing in a playoff style format.
Made it much more enjoyable IMO but no sport will ever come close to the MLB game. NBA is cool because of the 3-point contest bu5 the game is a basic joke like the NFL
The Lightning are talented team. Four players made the All-Star team. They have the top goal scorer, goaltender, defense man, and possibly the rookie of the year. And that doesn’t even include team captain, Steven Stamkos, who is having one of his best seasons. All this doesn’t mean they will win the Stanley Cup but they have a better shot at it then the Bucs do at getting to .500 anytime in the near future.
I am in Tallahassee and see the Bolts on FOXSPORTS SUN. They are way more exciting watch than the Bucs. At least you know they have a chance to win any game.

You sound like Joe when it comes to the NBA and golf.
“This Joe” has zero clue (nor cares) when/where NBA all star game is. Would be hard-pressed to name six NBA players… or golfers.
And yes, Joe would watch women’s college basketball before golf and NBA any day.
Meanwhile, less than three weeks for Daytona. 🙂
