No-Quit Return For David

Joe’s not about to throw roses — not even plastic ones — at the Bucs’ messy defense today, but Lavonte David deserves a nod of appreciation.

The guy missed two games and was limited in practice all through last week after a very significant ankle sprain in Minnesota. Joe personally witnessed David’s anguish and disability after that Vikings game.

So David returns today and manages two forced fumbles and a touchdown, all in the second half.

Pretty darn cool that David got better as the game went on, and that he didn’t mail in the effort after a 31-0 deficit.

That’s a football player right there, and the Bucs need more of that, that Brent Grimes kind of grind that David displayed today.

David added three tackles. Welcome back, Lavonte.

Too bad swaggy “I need a hot dog break” Baker and the little boys couldn’t get the job done today. One word describes today’s performance… disgraceful! Now pass me the crown!!!

  2. Make America Brate Again Says:

Chris Baker getting outmuscled by Carson Palmer for the ball says it all! This season feels like it’s circling the drain, and you know what? I am ALL in on tanking for a high draft pick. Sad!

I read one more idiotic comment on here about trading LVD, the you-know-what will start flying!! It’s not his fault that Mike Smith is so stupid when it comes to designing plays to his strength!!

When they got behind you could see the loafs starting. Good to see they got back on top of the game and had a chance to win. Previous team’s would of quit. Please Dirk can you go to the no huddle sooner. Your quarterbacks always do better in hurry up. Again you wasted time that prohibited you from winning. Using your own words that you shouted to Jeremy, “How can you not see that.”

  5. Cometowin2 Says:

You wait until the last possible minute to go no-huddle. Why??? You don’t plan for mistakes. Go no huddle whenever you’re behind and you’ll win a lot of games.

We need Kwon back next week in a bad way. Beckwith has no business playing MLB.

  7. LakeLand Says:

In Kendell Beckwith defense. No LB in the NFL will tackle Adrian Peterson if he’s running through a hole untouched. And that what was happen, the D-Line was getting pushed around by Arizona O-Line. The D-Line has to clog the holes for the Linebackers. No way should a RB have open running lanes.

  8. LakeLand Says:

GMC knew how bad the D-Line were playing, you could see the frustration on his face. I was impressed with GMC when he pushed Alex Boone into Carson Palmer and then sacked Palmer with one arm. Alex Boone is a big dude….6’8 310 lb, former All-Pro.

Gmc came to out the tunnel with this noticable chip on shoulder and I was at the game I thot he would have a big game…… lvd omg was the mvp on defense. Looks like he took over play call duties as well

Im glad he showed up late, It was unlike him to miss tackles and he missed the solo tackle on AP when he scored his long TD run.

I’ve always thought LVD was our best player
