Hopefully, the Stick Carriers will be successful in stopping that Stupid TAMPA then BAY cheer at the stadium this year.
You know, the one when one side of the stadium chants TAMPA, then the other side chants BAY.
It is stupid because it totally silences one whole side of the stadium between the cheers.

One notable absence is Vjax……I know he will be rooting for the Bucs to succeed….I empathize with him as he looks at the end of a great career…..Would like see an interview with him. I know all JBFs wish him well. What a class act and great Buccaneer.

J 2.0 the cheer is unique, because it is stupid, and fans in other cities seem to have enough sense to not intentionally quiet one side of their stadiums, during a cheer.
I have lived in Detroit, and Seattle, and guess what ?
Their stadiums are loud, all of the time, when the other team has the ball.

Yes, this is a Buccaneers website, and not all Football Fans agree.
I stand by my opinion that the cheer does not help our team, especially when we are on defense.

The Tampa-Bay cheer disorients QB’s with the changing sound pressure. It is also very distracting because the first impulse is to listen to it (whereas generic noise can be tuned out).
In addition it’s one of the trademarks of the Buccaneers.
