Jameis Does “First Take”

August 4th, 2017

Faces America.

Jameis walked into the alligator pit this morning.

America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, took a gamble and joined the “First Take” gang consisting of screamin’ Stephen A. Smith, Max Kellerman and Molly Qerim. It was a six-minute engagement and Joe has the full video below.

Once again, Jameis was asked (this time by Smith) how he is going to keep all his receivers happy. Jameis replied, “I don’t discriminate.”

Watch for yourselves.

Not answering that question leads me to believe He is consulted in who the team targets in free agency.

  9. BuccaneEric75 Says:

  10. SB Says:

Not sure Eric. Just saw that was put in solitary for a while from other posters. I am just protesting his incarceration and hoping for my name back. 🙂

Guys I texted the sh!t out of NOS today trying to get him to the Stick Carriers Meeting tomorrow. Wish I could be there but Montana is a bit of a trip.

  14. USFBUC Says:

I love the answers from Winston. He sounds like a professional, said all the right things, gave the answers he wanted to give, and stayed very poised and in point with his team first mentality.

  15. USFBUC Says:

I also love how our receiving corps went from a weakness last year to a potential strength this year. With Evans, Jackson, Godwin, Humphries, Howard, and Brate even with an injury or two we still have multiple threats on the field.

  16. SB Says:

You are right USF….He is not what a bunch of people thought he was. But He Is what some thought he would be !!!!!!!!!!!!!! A Franchise QB, classy, involved in the community, football is number one, changing culture, not excepting low expectations! A Winner!!

Story coming tomorrow morning (already written), Humphries sure isn’t practicing like a No. 4 receiver.

  18. SB Says:

Joe….If you are talking about how good Chris Godwin is then I Totally get your premise above.

  19. Thespiritof1976 Says:

Why Jameis would go on a show with such fake ass John Randles is beyond me.

  20. Joe Says:

Not a knock on Godwin in any way, shape or form.

  21. SB Says:

No……Just the opposite Joe. I heard Godwin was kicking some tail in practice. Is why I thought Hump might be a 4 before long.

He may be. Godwin doing well. You will see when you read the story. Not a slam at either one in any way.

  23. SB Says:

Sure wish I could hang out at the Takeover tomorrow! Hope you guys have a good time. Peace out!

  24. SB Says:

    Thanks Joe.

JW will have another good year.

Barring injuries to key players, the Bucs will make the playoffs adding more incentive for quality OL free agents to sign with the Bucs.

Next season the Bucs will make a deep playoff run.

Always take an interview with Stephen A. smith on First Take . Unless you know your in the wrong and he wants to fire shots. Winston is hot and young . Top 5 young Qbs with lot of love not in any particular order .
    1. Winston
    2. Mariota
    3. Carr
    4. Wentz
    5. Prescott

I don’t think Prescott is all that tbh lived off his rb and line all year long. Dallas needs more offensive pass catchers not named Bryant . With a year of tape I think he regresses somewhat.
Mariota and the Titans developed quicker because they had the extra high draft picks from that St. Louis trade . Also they play in a much weaker conference . Not exactly fair anymore to compare #s with Winston & Him.
Carr was a 2nd Rd pick so that helps a lot when you have a franchise QB in the 2nd Rd . That helps the team develop quicker as well. Wentz did good with no talent around him on offense really . Lot of kudos to him. By all means though all are good NFL starting QBs with long term elite potential . 2-3 years from now they will be the Brady , mannings , and Rodgers of the NFL . Carolina is a bit behind on talent . Mcaffery may or may not help Carolina and tbh they only have Benjamin Olson and him with Newton . No good OL really or pass blocking TES. Saints only have a franchise QB for a few more seasons . Probably only 1! Atlanta is on the rise and won’t back off . Tampa is on the rise and isn’t backing off. NYG only have Manning for a couple more as well. Washington has had Kirk on trade block for awhile and even if they keep him they lost a lot of good talent over the years as well. GB likely will be good the next 4 years . Only real need is defense and OL. Detroit will be okay for awhile. Minnesota isn’t to far away from being a title contender . Long term success in the NFC is likely going to Atlanta , Dallas and Tampa . Carolina 5-11 , Saints 8-8 , Tb 10-6 , Atlanta 11-5 something close to that anyways.

I just can’t get into Stephen A Smith. It’s not that all his takes are outlandish…frequently he makes some good observations…he’s just such an egomaniac!!! I’ve never been a fan of blowhards who constantly boast about themselves. Oops please do not bust me for a political comments. LOL
