Joe shoots a lot of video of all kinds throughout spring practices, training camp and preseason games.

First, it lets Joe study what’s really happening in the trenches, plus Joe often will be able to capture various standout behaviors and actions among the team. Joe often looks at practice video and asks players about something related to it the next day.

Sifting through old summer video today, Joe found many examples of Mike Evans with laser focus during camp. There were so, so many it really stood out, especially compared to many other Bucs.

Evans was just all over the details from the moment spring camp started. It’s why Joe dubbed Evans training camp “winner.”

Enjoy the video below of Evans and wide receivers coach Todd Monken doing extra work during a little down time at the joint Bucs-Jags practices in Jacksonville — in searing August heat.

Well said my dude, yeah one of the biggest prop’s I can give Licht, is that probably 7 outta 10 picks that he makes, Are all guys with incredible desire,

I’m talking bout that fire that makes you get up at 4 in the morning to watch film before practice.

I’m talking bout that “want to” that makes a QB Run laps with the lineman when they make a mistake.

I’m talking bout the passion for the game that makes a young man pop his dislocated shoulder back into place so that he doesn’t miss a snap with his brothers on the field of battle.

Yeah you have guys like s(p)itter ASJ, and Ghost Johnson+Johnson.

But on the whole, Jason Licht drafts and sign’s men who are dedicated to being the best at what they do. Exemplified by this years FA group. And Last year’s grand slam.

Future so damn bright I’m busting out my Welding Shield.

I live in Northern VA. I swear, if you can’t work in Tampa, there’s something wrong with you. I sincerely don’t understand why FAs aren’t killing themselves to play in Tampa.

Young franchise QB, offensive genius HC, in place for years DC, warm winter weather, no state income tax…I mean, what the hell am I doing up here in VA?

Don’t feel badly. Been there done that with the women. Fortunately not my career. In fact I loved what I did so much that is was my career that contributed to burning through the women. The women were simply nowhere near as important as my career. Yeah that’s pretty selfish eh…but I LOVED my career.

    Kalind

My son hears you and agrees. He was raised in Dayton Ohio and has lived in Columbus for the past 15 years. He would give anything to move to St. Pete.
But he has family committments and a career in Columbus. He thinks Pryor should be recruiting us. LOL

  7. Doctor Stroud Says:

Congratulations to Mike Evans for being the Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer of the Week for Week 17! Let’s make sure that he wins the annual award!

    @Kalind

And it’s starting to seem like the Glazers are getting ready to spend a monster amount of money in FA to bring in even more ballers (just saw Eric Berry scoop a pic off the ground from Big Ben in the end zone) to continue building this team into a possible dynasty. I don’t think anyone would not consider coming to Tampa if they got the opportunity.

  9. Pawel Says:

    SIGN PRYOR AND ALShON JEFFREY
DRAFT BIG CENTER AND DALVIN COOK
    REST DEFENSE

  10. Holy Facepalm Says:

No to Alshon. Overrated and never available.
