Repaired melon

Sometimes Joe gets so excited by seeing an injury report that only vodka or JoeBucsFan Jason Light Ale can soothe Joe enough to keep working.

Yesterday was one of those days.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ injury report revealed that starting left guard Kevin Pamphile was “full participation.” Pamphile sat out last week’s practices and the Bears game due to the effects of a concussion.

His return is awesome news. First, Pamphile is much better than rookie Caleb Benenoch, whose first NFL start Sunday drew serious shade from Dirk Koetter. Second, Pamphile’s return means the Bucs won’t be limited in what they can do in the running game, as they would have been with Benenoch.

Third, Pamphile should come back with extraordinary fresh legs, a godsend for an interior lineman in midseason.

Also, starting center Joe Hawley, who missed Sunday’s game with a bad knee and didn’t practice leading up to the game, practiced on a “limited” basis yesterday. His return would be icing on the cake.

great news on pamphile and hawley… Now they just need to figure a way to leave the human turnstile / penalty machine Dotson in Tampa.

Excellent news…Let Doug tote the rock 20 or more times (assuming his hammy is feeling fine) and eat up the clock. Plus that will open the passing game.

that’s great news…we’re going to need him and Doug at full strength….chiefs have a ball hawking secondary….lets hope dirk can get creative….would love to see us get a win against a quality opponent….we’ll see….DIRK=JIM TOMSULA….GO KAP…GO BUCS!!!

You hope to see the Bucs win but you constantly say that Koetter is Jim Tomsula?

“You hope to see the Bucs win but you constantly say that Koetter is Jim Tomsula?”

The dude has last his mind so there really is no point engaging him. It’s one of the dumbest comparison’s I’ve ever seen on this website. As lazy as comparing Winston to Jamarcus Russell because they are both black

Dirk = successful offensive coordinator for the last decade with 3 different teams producing regardless of different personnel / strengths / weaknesses
Tomsula = a line coach who was never a coordinator in the NFL or had any claim to NFL success

    It’s just stupid.

Not only that; but we are averaging 30.5 points per game the last 4 weeks and 24 PPG for the year.

The 2015 Tomusla 49ers who EASILY had more skill position talent (Crabtree/Boldin/Vernon Davis/Gore/Hyde) and nowhere near the injury issues at RB / WR, NEVER cracked more than 30 points for the entire f*cking year.

They averaged 14.8 points per game. What a great comparison right?

    813bucboi = JIM TROLLSULA

    GO BUCS!!!

Lord Cornelius it’s spot on! Go bucs!

might be wishful thinking, but it’s possible to connect some dots between Demar Dotson’s awful afternoon and having 2 total newbies to the left of him. i’m hopeful that getting more solid play from RG will make the job of both the C and the RT slightly easier

  9. Bucsfanman Says:

    “Trollsula”!!! That’s funny!

It’ll be nice to get these guys back. Gotta have that run game!!!

ive explained the comparison numerous of times so I wont bother going into details…..the simple comparison is in house promotions that are in over their heads and making coaching 101 mistakes and cant win against quality teams….

now the 30ppg average in the last 4games is very misleading…..we are 2-2 in the last 4 games with wins over a 1-7 and 2-6 team….we put up 24 points on a team the committed an nfl record in penalties and let their qb throw for over 500+yards…..we put up 28 points in a blowout lost to atl while scoring a td late in garbage time….stats don’t tell the whole story….wins and loses do….

we say the 9ers had good skill players but boldin, gore, davis weren’t the same players….he had talented defensive player retire on him and that team was built to win thru their defense….

the fact is we’re below .500, witnessed 3 blowout loses, have yet to beat a quality team and has an incompetent person in charge making coaching 101 mistakes every week unless he’s playing a 1-7-2-6 team….

the comparisons are spot on….jim made the same dumb mistakes, got blown out numerous of times and could only beat team that were lousier than the 49ers….sounds like dirk…..

    facts don’t lie….DIRK=JIM TOMSULA…GO KAP…GO BUCS!!!!

not as funny as dirk being the next JIM TOMSULA!!!!!!….GO BUCS!!!!

There should be a way to transport people like this to a far away land forever.

We are all now dumber because of what you have said today 813bucboi…

813…I’m not gonna touch the Koetter/Tomsula comparison. That seems to be a hot button for the good folks here on joebucsfan.com. I will, however, challenge the idea that coaching decisions determined the outcome against the Oakland Raiders. Can you identify for me what decision(s) Koetter made that makes him responsible for that loss?
