Playing Into Bucs’ Hands

October 21st, 2016
He's not Matty Ice.

He’s not Matty Ice.

Joe has been writing all week how the 49ers are flat garbage.

Well, this miserable team should be playing right into the Bucs’ hands. Consider these two tidbits offered up by the media relations wing of the Bucs:

The Bucs have held opponents to just a 31.1 percent third down conversion rate, the second-lowest mark in the NFL.

Mind you, the Bucs already faced Matty Ice and the high-flying Dixie Chicks, and the playoff-savvy Cardinals and the defending world champs, the Broncos.

All three of those teams are far better than the Sideshow Bob-led 49ers. You know, Sideshow Bob, the National Anthem-kneeling, history-challenged, Supreme Court Justice-sparring, Fidel Castro-loving Colin Kaepernick. It is not even close.

The Bucs have limited opponents to 3.27 yards per carry, the seventh-lowest mark in the league.

And the 49ers rushing attack is miserable beyond words, especially with talented Carlos Hyde expected to miss Sunday’s game. Last Hyde was seen, he was wearing a sling.

Just a refresher: the Bucs have squared off against the likes of running backs Devonta Freeman, Todd Gurley and C.J. Anderson.

Short of the Bucs catching a stomach virus Sunday morning, there is just no excuse for the Bucs to lose this game. None!

It’s gonna be just like when Sideshow Bob stepped into all those rakes!

  2. Clodhopper Says:

You’re right Joe. There are no excuses to lose this game. But when has that ever stopped us from getting ally beaten by a ah!tty QB?

  3. Bird Says:

Joe- what does the Fidel Castro loving comment mean. It shows a picture of him that is difficult to see I’m guessing his shirt?

  4. TouchDownTampaBay Says:

Think it over bird. I am sure you will get there.

  5. dusthty rhothdes Says:

Ys kap is a complete hypocrite wearing a malcolm X and Fidel shirt, or he is also really stupid, because if you tried the stuff he is doing in fidels cuba he would be locked in prison for life…kap would be trying to escape cuba if he lived there, the guy is an A-1 moron, wish the bucs had a defensive player that was nasty, mean and tough enough to within the rules and helping the bucs to victory drive him into the santa clara mud and deposit him on a corner in haight-ashbury

  6. ShutTheBucUp Says:

We have proven that we can get beat by $hitty teams, time and time again. Now that ‘the leader’ of the offense is out, it will be interesting to see how mentally tough the team is under Dirk Koetter. There have been glimpses of toughness, particularly from the defense, but the offense just hasn’t been able to put up points since week one, even against a weak a$$ Panthers team. Luckily 17 points was enough to win the game, which is rare.

We are 27th in PTS per game, and dead last in total points scored so far this season.

  7. Newbucsfan2 Says:

Castro… you gotta be kidding me!! He is a truly ignorant. One day living as a Cuban and he would kiss the American flag! I hope we kick their as@!!

  8. BigPoppaBuc Says:

I see the defense having a big day on Sunday. VH3 may get his first pick.

  9. BucinJAX Says:

Money isn’t everything. But, having it enables you to deal with the crap in life a lot more comfortably.

Let’s see if I’ve got this right? Colon has a $114 million contract which includes a $61 million guaranteed and a $12 million signing bonus. He’s not white. Dang, I wish I was that oppressed.

For the rest of us, the greatest determination of our income is education. And, his comments and wardrobe prove his lack of education. I worked my butt off to be well educated, and have never earned anywhere near his level. I wish I were so oppressed.

And, what has he done to help the oppressed. All that money could help somehow. He could build & run schools for the oppressed and help them improve their situation. Nah, he just complains about what he perceives all of us aren’t doing.

Stupid is as stupid does. He’s an embarrassment to every race of human being.

  10. Tampa Tony Says:

Being a Bucs fan means there are no guaranteed wins in this league

  11. BucinJAX Says:

BTW Bird, I too wanted to know more about his wearing that t-shirt, so I Googled Colin Kaepernick & Fidel Castro. Lots of information came up. I suspect you’d get better answers about things like that on Google than here on JBF.

  12. Miko Says:

another week, another season defining game…this one on the opposite end….lose to these bimbos and we are still garbage…

  13. iamkingsu Says:

Hey Idiots!! Do you’ll want me to go back to the 1960 and what was going on in this country??

  14. pick6 Says:

these are the games that make me the most nervous, unfortunately. west coast, QB who should be in way over his head, scuffling team…it’s like all the bucs’ classic “bad beat” factors converging on one game. all that’s missing is a freezing kickoff temp

  15. Newbucsfan2 Says:

The 1960s! Wasn’t that 40 some years ago? Yes, there is still work to done but Castro! Come on man!

  16. pick6 Says:

i’m not defending the SF QB’s choices, but the fact that he is a non-white person who is very rich from playing a game is not really a relevant basis for criticism. i believe the protest was poorly chosen since he’s started a larger conversation around protests during the anthem than the issue he was actually protesting. i believe he’s a hypocrite for (among other things) promoting fidel castro while exercising his freedom of speech. however, it would be inaccurate to state that he is protesting this country’s unfairness to him in particular, just to have one more thing to pile on about. I’ve never seen any statements from him about personally receiving unjust treatment. Then again, i try to stay out of this side of football when i can help it

  17. pick6 Says:

however, looking at that picture of him in the castro shirt and a malcolm x hat reminds me of a 15 year old trying way too hard to signal to people that he is anti-establishment.

  18. orlbucfan Says:

I’m surprised he knows who Fidel Castro is! Most of his generation don’t! Plus, Fidel is pretty much dead. His Bro, Raoul, runs the country. Back to the ballgame!! @JaxBuc: you can get every game live via streaming BucsRadio. It’s legit, and I like it better than the POX Sports bozos. I have a feeling we’ll win this game. I normally don’t as I’m a long-time Nervous Nellie with this team. Go Tampa Bay Sunday!! Still another 4PM start–YUCK!!

  19. BennyBucs Says:

F#ck you Joe. Had no clue you were a prejudice redneck . But it’s good to know now.

  20. tmaxcon Says:

    BennyBucs

Way to show your ignorance dumb arse.

  21. uckinator Says:

The Constitution and the Bill of Rights allows Kaepernick to act stupid. Something he could never get away with in Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea and the other worker paradises scattered around the world. Disrespecting our symbol of the greatest nation this world has ever seen has earned him reproach from half it’s citizens. The other half votes for Hillary.

  22. Newbucsfan2 Says:

Yes, and the constant commercials on Fox drives me nuts! It must really unsettle the flow of the game for the players. But I guess it is to our advantage with the 49ers hurry up offense.

    ————–

errrr, ummmm, 56 years ago actually.

For those of you wanting to continue to pile on the load of crap that George Soros has paid the ignorant denizens of this nation to do…go ahead. This nation was never great? Bullspit! This IS the greatest nation in the world. There are no other world powers with anywhere near the diversity that this nation has…not even close! This is the most diverse world power in the world…. AND it is the only world power that has EVER elected a minority to be their supreme leader…. and if any of you history challenged idiots wants to point to English or Australian Prime Ministers that were women…. uhhhh, you don’t get it. Women are not a minority! Minority, meaning-failing to make up the majority of people.

This nation isn’t perfect, nothing is and no nation has ever come close to perfection and probably never will. But this nation is great, and as far as civil rights go, this nation is the gold standard.

  25. Newbucsfan2 Says:

    Brandon

    I second that!

  26. Sir clicks a lot Says:

    Nice words Brandon, I agree.

Kap is a better half time show than a qb at this point. That alone is reason the Bucs should take this game, especially with our stout 3rd down D. Only self inflicted mistakes can keep us from taking this one. So stay on the plus side of the turnover margin and we got this. Go Bucs!

  27. LakeLandBuc Says:

If America is the greatest nation in the world, then Kap is the greatest QB in the history of the NFL. The greatest nation killing unarmed citizens like they are wild dogs, this is worst than the Nazi’s Gestapo. KKK cops gunning black people like animals, the rest of the world see’s what is happen here. I can go on, but this conversation isn’t worth my time. It’s senseless, calling the most RACIST nation on EARTH the greatest nation on Earth.

  28. BigHogHaynes Says:

Let me defend Colin, I know I don’t need to or that he needs me to but I will! Now we talking about a shirt and a hat, can’t the man wear what the hell he wants to wear, stop flipping every thing he say, oppression of his people or for you dummies people that look like him, (not himself), unarmed people being killed by police officers, police officers given a gun to protect and serve with 6 months training, stop talking about him being a moron or stupid or unpatriotic, he has the right to protest, for fellow Americans died to afford him that right, but there are some unpatriotic, stupid, moronic, backward ass thinking people that think they know everything, he is a man standing for what he believes, PEACEFULLY, yet we hate, some of you need to read some books or do some research, educate yourself to the situation and stop looking like DUMB ASS TRUMP!!

  29. 813bucboi Says:

i hope kap does well enough to keep his starting job and piss off all the people who don’t believe in the social justice….with that said I still hope the bucs escape with “W”….GO BUCS!!!

  30. BKNYfootballhead Says:

Kap earned his degree after turning down a large MLB signing bonus and committing to his 4 year scholarship. He’s also done amazing charitable work for children throughout his pro career. He’s not bright in how he’s going his about his dissent, but some of you dumb a$$e$$ just make $hit up about him. He’s not disparaging troops or promoting violence, saying otherwise makes you look imbecile.

  31. BKNYfootballhead Says:

He was an All-American scholar athlete, more than most of us will ever accomplish.

  32. Trubucfan22 Says:

If you want to look at the bucs offensive rankings, keep in mind the defenses that we faced. Broncos, Cardinals, Rams. I haven’t looked at the rankings, but those have to be 3 of the top 10 defenses. Against the panthers we had a “run the ball” mentality, and it worked just enough to get us the win. Can’t complain about a W. The next part of the schedule has some weaker defenses, I expect the offense to get back on track. It’s not every week we have to face Aaron Donald or Von Miller.

  33. BKNYfootballhead Says:

Many of you should take the wonderlic test online and see if you can score a 37. He’s not an idiot by any means; just not wise in his ways

  34. Trubucfan22 Says:

As for the politics in this comment section. If kap has the right of freedom of expression, so do the people criticizing him. Besides, that freedom protects you from the government. Not from public opinion.

If people want to criticize someone for what they believe in, then they are just as right to stand up for that as kap is sitting. It’s a 2 way street. So sit down, or stand up, do whatever you want. This is a free country.

  35. Trubucfan22 Says:

You can be smart in some ways and stupid in others. Just because you are good at English doesn’t mean you are automatically good at Math.

  36. Eastsidebuc Says:

Colonizers loud and proud behind a keyboard. Free your mind and your ass will follow. Bitter AF.
