Tailor-Made Day For ASJ

Best option?

Keeping it real, Austin Seferian-Jenkins is the circus sideshow of the Bucs offense.

He’s talented and captivating, but usually for all the wrong reasons. No need to run down the list.

But it’s surely not all bad for ASJ, and Joe sees this game against the Falcons as a perfect opportunity for the manbeast of a tight end who finally is healthy — for now. Look at the Falcons’ defense. They’re planning to start two rookie linebackers, and their prized first-round pick of a safety, Keanu Neal, is out with an injury.

With Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans on the fields, everything seems ripe for a tight-end friendly day for Tampa Bay.

Who exactly on the Falcons’ defense should be able to run with ASJ, and match up with him in single coverage?

This is just about as good a setup as it gets for ASJ. The next four defenses the Bucs face are Arizona, Los Angeles, Denver and Carolina. That’s a nightmare row.

The real question is whether Dirk Koetter has any confidence in his underperforming tight end. Joe doubts that highly. But if Koetter wants to take what the defense gives him, that might very well be right over the middle and up the seam to big No. 87.

Hopefully the mental midget just does his job nothing more nothing less. I want to pull for this guy but it has to be earned on the field this acting like players are good based on potential on paper is a joke.

Dude will get hurt during the moment of silence today.

To me, its all a matter of the Bucs establishing the run!!! If/when the Bucs do that it will then be a tailor-made day for the passing game!!!! It also seems to settle JW3 down and makes him more accurate earlier in games!!!!!

ASJ? I was told Stocker was the starter because he led all TE in snaps last year. What about Brate? I was told he was the one with the chemistry with Jameis. Why are we talking about someone I was told all summer was the 3rd string TE?

We got some real wags on here. 🙂 ASJ who? He hasn’t been on the field long enuff for me to comment on. Bucs TEs better be ready to BLOCK and catch. DK kept a load of them cos he’s going to be running the football. Dixie Chicks know it, too. 🙁

Pablo says ASJ will score one touch down today.

  8. Bucthis Says:

So long as Martin, Jackson, Evans, Stocker, Simms and Humphries each get a touchdown as well, I am good with ASJ getting his!! Of course if Jamis wants to run one in just to show off too, I won’t complain. Lol

    GO BUCS!!!

  9. teacherman777 Says:

Austin will have 10 TD’s this year!

    I am with you brother!!

I bet he pulls something stupid during the National Anthem.
    He seems like the type.

Lol nice on captain stagger. Joe has tried to paint ASJ as bad as he could, but his talent is just so much better than the others. Can’t stop that type of talent. Even if he is a bone head drama queen.

Hopefully, ASJ is still in BEASTMODE…. I see a huge day for everyone

  13. DoNUTS Says:

    ASJ is the starter.

We will know by the end of first half if he will remain the starter. ASJ is more talented than Brate. Brate is solid and close second. I think if we get in red zone maybe goto a double TE set….would love to see it as I think it would make ATL LB confused to play run or pass.

I am just glad the Kenny Bell bromance is over; obvious he wasnt NFL level.

  14. ATrain Says:

    Joe,
Please tell us why this guy gets all the TE press for You.

Brate came out of nowhere and played well last year but it’s crickets in him.

ASJ is hurt a lot, has caught a few passes and made a few plays but no more than anyone else and is. Cry baby

  15. tmaxcon Says:

asj has to earn it on the field until then he is just a mental midget with a good resume on paper.

  16. Eric Says:

No more asinine statement ASJ has never caught a ball win the Bucs win!!’
