Spring Game Jameis

When America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, says he is a football junkie, he isn’t lying.

It seems if Jameis isn’t working out to improve, or running an impromptu backyard or high school field workout with a teammate or teammates, the guy is at a football event of some sort.

Last Saturday, Jameis attended the Florida State spring game held in Orlando due to renovations at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee. This week, Jameis was busy with offseason conditioning at One Buc Palace and a paintball outing. But Jameis cannot get football out of his head.

Yesterday, Jameis attended the University of South Florida’s spring game held on its Tampa campus. And if that wasn’t enough, one of the greatest players in Florida State history showed up wearing Bulls gear.

This ought to get the college message boards worked up. Joe is going to guess the photos, which, naturally, the University of South Florida was only too pleased to share on social media, will become quite a talking point when the Bulls host the Seminoles at the Den of Depression later this fall.

Which sideline will Jameis hang on Sept. 24?

He’ll being sporting the gold alright, just not green to go with it, violet will be the matching color. Jameis will clearly be rooting for his alma~matter, that’s probably why he decided to pay his dues to Taggart and the Bulls now so they wouldn’t feel that bad when they see him on the opposite sideline during the game. LOL -GO BULLS!!! BEAT THE NOLES!!!…AGAIN!!!

  3. MadMax Says:

Cant blame him. Hanging out at Fl St. after everything that went down there….hmmm, that probably brings back some bad memories of that aftermath. He’s no longer there and he can be a fan of other college teams now. But Im sure he’s still a Nole at heart.

  4. Kalind Says:

What. The. Frick. Jameis, that spit ain’t funny dude. You are a Nole. Period. I would like it very much indeed, sir, if you would please take that FRICKING THING OFF.

  5. Evo Says:

He’s simply supporting his new community. Paying respect to the bulls and as a die hard fsu fan who likes the bulls as well. It doesn’t bother me one bit. That’s who our new qb is. He supports all things in the area. Keep it going young man. Make us fans proud. Give us bucs fan somwine to rout for again !!

  6. finishers Says:

    He’s a football player period!

  7. Dreambig Says:

All of this malicious activity Jameis is involved in, I just wish he could be a better face of our franchise! I get tired of seeing all the protestors outside of One Buc place and the negitive attention he brings. All of the NFL experts, talking heads, and commentators, who always get this stuff right were telling us before the draft this was going to happen. That crazy Jason Licht should have listened to the experts! Waahahahaha!

  8. Hawaiian Buc Says:

    Tall about embracing the community!

  9. jb Says:

I don’t care whose shirt he wears, as long as he’s wearing a BUCS jersey on Sunday’s during the fall.

Proud to be an alumnus of USF……”The Golden Brahmans”

  11. gulfcoast Says:

So the Bulls were “only too pleased”? How sad for them. It’s kinda like being happy that you took a picture with another mans hot wife because yours is ugly. GO BUCS GO NOLES! USF step up, get you a “Jameis”!

  12. The Buc Realist Says:

I do not think that JW3 and Noles are on the best of terms!!! Especially when he left, things were pretty bad and was hinted to him that he should go to the draft!!! I sure have not heard of JW3 doing anything FSU related or any meet and greets at all!!!!

  13. TBtoNC Says:

Now if he could support another local team by showing up to a Rays game wearing, ya know, Rays gear

  14. SOEbuc Says:

I really hope Jameis becomes a superstar not only because I love the Bucs but also because he’s already beginning to do soo much for this community and would likely only get more

#1 Bucs #2 Bulls Go teams!

When there’s no rivalry, I don’t think a player or many fans would see this as disloyalty, especially given the context. Pretty sure you’ll never see Jameis in Gators gear though, unless he loses a bet.

  17. Hawaiian Buc Says:

    @Realist,

Jameis has been on the sideline for at least one FSU game last year. He’s also said on numerous occasions he still talks with Fisher. I could be mistaken, but I believe he was also there for FSU’s spring game. I don’t think he’s on bad terms at all.

  18. TBAYBUC Says:

As long as its not a Gators or Hurricanes shirt im ok with it as a Buc-Nole! Bulls dont bother me at all.

  19. Buc1987 Says:

“Which sideline will Jameis hang on Sept. 24?”

    You’re joking right?

  20. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

    He’ll root for the Noles.

I wouldn’t blame him for it either. But I bet a certain radio host will.

  21. Joe Says:

    LOL

  22. DemBoysFromDaBay727 Says:

    Lol good one Joe.

I think the rivalry between the Gators and Noles is being resurrected
now that we finally have a HC in the “Mac man”.

-GO GATORS BABY!!! can’t wait for the showdown.
