Jameis Is Peeved!

January 3rd, 2016
Angry Jameis.

Angry Jameis.

Joe isn’t sure who was listening to the Buccaneers Radio Network after the game but America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, made it perfectly clear to listeners: He is hot as a firecracker in July that the Bucs got curb-stomped today by the Stinking Panthers and wants the 2016 to start tomorrow.

Buccaneers Radio Network sideline reporter T.J. Rives tried to break down the game with Jameis as he usually does, even if it was a blowout loss to end the season, and Jameis would have none of it.

Three times Rives tried to ask Jameis about the game. The final attempt was to discuss his successful rookie season. Jameis was in absolutely no mood for it. On the first question about a drive early in the game, Jameis interjected.

“There’s no reason to talk about it,” Jameis blurted. “The game is over. We need to make a transition to next season.”

Rives, again, tried to ask about the game and got the following response from Jameis: “We can’t finish like that,” Jameis said. “I am so anxious for the new season!”

At this point, Rives realized asking about the game was not the way to go so he asked Jameis to discuss such a fine rookie season. Jameis wasn’t going there either.

“I just have to get better,” Jameis said. “I have to cut down on my turnovers. We have to get better every year. That’s not the way to finish.”

At this point, Rives figured it was time to let Jameis go and Rives flipped it back to the WDAE-AM 620 studios.

Joe can never remember a Bucs player after the final game of the season so PO’ed as Jameis was. Jameis wasn’t out of hand, he didn’t curse. But he was one angry mofo.

You could easily tell this loss is going to burn Jameis’ guts for months. Joe wouldn’t be shocked if Jameis is up all night studying tape.

Even after a loss, how refreshing it was for Joe to hear the passion and outright anger at a regular season-ending loss.

That’s a team-leader, folks. Your 21-year old quarterback.

New season!! New head coach!!!! High draft picks!!!!! Go Bucs!!!!!!!!!!

  2. unbelievable Says:

If only we had a team full of guys with this same mentality, instead it’s 2, maybe 3 other players that care or show any fire.

  3. Couch Fan Says:

Jameis knows like I know that his own HC is imcompetent!! Tell it to the Glazers Jameis!! Dont let Lovie destroy your promising career!!

  4. LJ'sDaddy Says:

Thank you Jaboo. You are virtually the only star shining in the sky over the Bucs.

  5. Vincente Says:

Passion! That’s what this team needs. And tell mike Evans to ease up. That’s not passion, that’s childish.

  6. Lovie Is Dog Poo Says:

Do the right thing Jameis: Go to Licht and then the Glazers and demand a coach who isn’t the biggest loser you’ve ever seen. We will love you forever for doing it, they have to listen to you, you’re bigger than Lovie will ever be to this franchise. Save us Jameis Christ.

  7. Joe Says:

Jameis loves Lovie. So that isn’t happening.

  8. jb Says:

I’m sure all GMC was thinking about with a wide smile on his face was checking his bank balance! Definitely shows how “Leaders” on this team operate!
It’s nice having a player not allow Rives to blow smoke up his butt after ANOTHER embarrassing loss!!!

  9. The Buc Realist Says:

    @Joe

But does Jameis love winning more than he loves lovie??? that is the question!!!!!!

  10. 1nebuc Says:

Doesn’t shock me one bit . This kid is a winner and he will demand that at all times . Lets not forgot he through for over 4000 20+ tds 6 rushing tds 12,13,14ints . This kid will be ok and even better when Lovie gets fired tonight. Dirk Koetter head coach and oc and hire Jim Schwartz to coach the defense.

  11. lightningbuc Says:

This just in – Jaboo isn’t nearly as good as Joe has made him out to be! He seriously regressed the last 4 games.

  12. DontWantstaStayaBuc Says:

This literally made me LOL. Even as I type I can’t stop laughing. Because he didn’t like losing, unlike most every other athlete out there, he’s a leader. Unlike most 21 year olds, this must be the only one who doesn’t like not getting his way.

Jameis is Donald Trump level smooth with the media. He can lie through his teeth and people will eat it up and believe him. He thinks Lovie is a loser, no doubt about it. He sees what a soft coach he is. He wants passion and fire, not prayer circle and playing corners 20 yards off.

  15. The Buc Realist Says:

    @Joe

If you think Jameis is Peeved, Then you should talk to fans that have paid good hard earned money for this season!!!!

  16. Buccfan37 Says:

We’re all anxious for the next draft and season Jameis. Eternally optimistic is a Bucs fan specialty.

  17. Patrick in VA Says:

@lightning- you mean the last four games that would’ve happened after the rookie wall that nearly every player experiences and after losing Vincent Jackson and Louis Murphy only to leave s non-catching Evans and a lovable band of misfit receivers

  18. unbelievable Says:

LOL Trump is smooth with the media? You mean he likes to argue with them? Or are you talking about FOX news hanging from his nuts now that they realized he might actually get the nomination?

Anyways back to football. I don’t even want to hear Lovie’s presser tomorrow. In fact, I’m going to hang around to see if by some chance he gets fired, and if not, I’m probably going to take a nice long break from the Bucs until around April.

I’m just sick of it. Sick of this loser head coach and his loser speeches, this loser franchise and mostly loser players. What a waste of time and energy.

  19. BuccoDav Says:

    You mad, bro?

  20. Bucnut2 Says:

If jw is peeved, he should look in the mirror. In my business we have a saying for those guys who talk but don’t proud cue in proportion to their rhetoric. It’s ” big hat, no cattle”. Can anyone say jw has a big hat? I don’t see any cattle

  21. Bucnut2 Says:

    Produce

  22. BucFan20 Says:

Welcome to the Bucs Jameis. You are now officially a loser. Yes that’s right. 6-10. A loser QB. And also a part of the laughing stock of the NFL.

  23. NJBucsFan Says:

    This team is bad

  24. Bucs fan #7423 Says:

Lovie said it was the defensive coordinator fault, so lovie took over defense. Lovie said it was players fault, so he picked the players himself. We still suck. Its lovie fault! His scheme sucks!

  25. unbelievable Says:

    are you not mad, bro?

  26. Luther Says:

Listening to his presser made me want to go out and hit somebody. Jameis was intense and that’s a good thing.

  27. tickrdr Says:

    @Patrick in Va:

    Absolutely!
At least we don’t have the 4th best QB in the division anymore. That would be awful.

Seriously though, except for the Philadelphia game, does anyone think our offense looked like the #7 offense in the league???

  28. Tampa Tony Says:

Let’s see you get better with your accuracy next year #3

  29. Sick of Lovie Says:

I love Jameis, I really do. But hasnt he said he needs to get better before? In fact, hasn’t he said that the last 4 weeks?
C’mon, hes putting too much of this on himself becaue he sees the rest of the team has checked out already. Lovie is in over his head, the defense cant stop a runny nose, and even if he does get time to throw, we have a 50/50 chance the receiver will drop it. All Jameis has is talent and optimism. Hopefully, team Glazer sees this and has all their ducks in a row when free agency dinner bell rings. Pay Martin, restructure Vjax, go get that missing piece or two we need on the Oline, go get that 3rd/slot receiver. Tell Lovie he has one more season to tighten this defense up or its over. Put some heat on him, make it known. Licht…. cant miss on this draft, you gotta hit another homer. Make it happen.

  30. I'm tired and 87 is right Says:

I’m sure he is bucnut and you probably should do the same. The sad thing is he is more of a man then you will ever be because you judge people when it’s not your place. When you drive home question who you are for I know Jameis will because he son is a man! Go Bucs!

  31. Couch Fan Says:

You cant threaten Lovie by telling him he has one more year to get it right. His team clearly can’t handle pressure and Lovie wont be able to handle it either. You are setting yourself up for disaster. Either fire him or leave him alone.

Wow, 2 excuses for Jaboo’s awful play in one post. LOL! Face it, he wasn’t very good coming down the stretch when the games could have meant something. He’s decent, but nothing to get all worked up about like some of you goobers do about him – he’s America’s Garbage Time QB!

  33. BrianBucs Says:

Jameis just needs to take care of his own business and work on his own game as he has no control of the things that happen over him.
Hopefully the powers that be will start making better coaching choices

  34. SOFIERCE Says:

Don’t waste Winston’s future seasons; fire Lovie!

  35. MTM Says:

Winston made some bad throws today but the defense once again showed it stop the run or the slant. If the defense ever improves they may have a long shot. That’s what Buc fans are used to.

  36. Rrsrq Says:

I don’t understand why everyone is calling for Koeter to be the HC, he didn’t help,Jameis keeping him in the pocket the series to end the half, Jameis was off and needed to be on the move. He game calling was predictable most of the time. But Lovie does need to get a real DC

  37. Defense Rules Says:

Were we all watching the same game? Panthers kicked our butts 38-10 today. Beat us handily in the first game 37-23. Perhaps they’re the better team? Ya, by a long shot.

Turnovers in both games doomed the Bucs (5 turnovers in first game and 3 today). Of our 8 turnovers, 6 were INTs. Panthers had a total of 2 turnovers in the 2 games (both fumbles).

Folks need to stop making excuses and just recognize that the Bucs are a young team that’s at least 2 years (maybe 3) behind teams like the Panthers. Lovie’s coaching at various times this season has been circumspect (I’m trying to be kind), however, he didn’t throw those INTs and he didn’t miss tackles. Bucs have a ways to go before they’ll be contending for the NFC South.

  38. J Says:

Maybe if you could complete more than 50 percent of passes when it’s still a game instead of garbage time. Can’t wait until a year or two from now.

  39. theproblemwithLovie Says:

Jameis is more of a man than me. If it were me, I’d give these loser “Bucs fans” and the loser franchise the finger and ask to be traded or sit. Jameis deserves better than the crappy fans we have, the same ones that ran off Doug Williams and Steve Young. How’d that work out?

  40. HIRE JIMBO Says:

Bucnutz is a fukcin idiot. Just get out of here u b1tch as$ troll

  41. JaMarcus Leafwhich Says:

You people have been brain washed for real, The game I watched today was list on the offensive side if the ball. In the NFL you have to s ore more than 10 points a game to beat the worst teams. Maybe if our QB could actually throw a ball that’s not 3 yards away from a receiver we might have actually scored some through the air. Let’s not forget the two Int’s the wide open Russell Shepherd and the multiple other over and under thrown balls, the game would have been much closer. Foeget about the tantrum Evans had at the very end of the game when it was impossible to make a comeback, maybe Evans is sick of the poorly placed balls he gets blasted for not catching and on the last one blew a gasket from being fed upwith all the Semin-a-holes who constantly make excuses for their savior Jameis. I’ve been watching football over 35 years and I still don’t see the greatness in Jameis. He’s average in his play but has a slick tongue like an attorney. In other words he’s full of spit! In two games vs. the Panthers he has thrown a ridiculous 6 Int’s. In 16 games with the leagues 1st or 2nd leading rusher he only threw for 300 yds once. Yup that’s right once. That sheeple is horrible considering how many times he threw the ball a game, usually playing catch up and abandoning the running game and still only ONCE. I get that this city badly wants a franchise QB but please stop seeing things that aren’t there. Want to know what a franchise quarterback looks like ? You just did and his name is Cam Newton. The guy not only dominates with no #1 wide receiver, he also can throw a ball way more accurately than JW but his running ability is vastly better. Finally to the fool who stated at least we don’t have the worst Qb in the NFL south put down the meth pipe and please tell me who he is better than?

    That, my friend, was sarcasm.
    Mostly aimed at the Joes.
But I am the “stats nerd”, so I am sure that all of the JW3 apologists will point out that Winston’s 4000+ yds makes him better than Russell Wilson, and Roethlisberger, and Cam Newton, and Aaron Rodgers too. I agree with much of what you posted.

Anybody that calls them self JaMarcus Leafwich can’t be taken seriously anyways. Also you forget one key part in all of what you just stated….Winston is only a rookie and 22 years old as of today, so that my friends is why Bucs fans are excitied for what is might to come. So get a life man! Go Bucs!
