Bucs Reach “Infamy”

Bucs set NFC milestone of futility.
Last week, it was pointed out by none other than the Custodian of Canton, eye-RAH! Kaufman of the Tampa Tribune, that the Bucs were on the cusp of NFL history with a loss to the Stinking Panthers.
And after today’s curb-stomping by the Stinking Panthers, infamy has been reached.
Since the AFL/NFL merger in 1970, no NFC team has finished in the basement of its division five straight years. Until tonight.
The Bucs have become the first NFL team in modern history to be in last place for half a decade (and counting). At least that’s something to hang your hat on. Not even the expansion Bucs, which lost its first 26 games, could pull that off.
It is officially the worst era of Bucs football.

I said this last week and I will say it again, this boob makes me dream of glory days where out players were called “yungry” and our Dline crashed the victory formation.

These are not tough times!!! It is time to be Tough!!!! Stand up and pull this Franchise out of the garbage!!!! Do not do what is easy and keep the status quo and watch your business flounder!!!!
Now is time to lead!!! If you do what is hard and make the right decision, years from fans will talk about how the owners took over the situation when it looked so bleak, And carried this Franchise back to greatness!!!!

My wife just asked if this means the Bucs have a high draft pick again this year. It then occurred to me that our marriage and overall family dynamic would be greatly improved if the Bucs weren’t such an awful football team based on my mood on Sundays for 17 weeks at the end of the year.

From a Season Pass Member…..Glazers PLEASE fire Lovie and move on. Promote Koetter and clean house on the defensive side of the ball. I have been a Buc fan since 1982 and this is the worst ever.

No question this is a bad time…but it’s not the worst era of Buccaneers football.
This franchise went 11 (ELEVEN!!) straight seasons with double digit losses in the 80s-90s.
THAT was the worst era. The last decade has been pretty close though.

The Glazers have been in last place for 87% of their time running the team. It’s not quite Culverhouse but it’s damn close. First time ever with 5 DFLs in a row. Says a lot.
