Sidelined for the remainder of preseason, Bucs WR Mike Evans says he will be ready for the regular season opener.
Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans spent time chatting in the Bucs’ locker room prior to practice today and, like he did after Monday night’s win over the Bungles, proclaimed himself fine for the regular season opener against the Titans.

Joe thought it was curious after Monday night’s win against the Bungles when America’s Quarterback, Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston, deflected praise for his game, suggesting Cincinnati plays a defense very similar to Minnesota, and because he was getting the same reads defensively, it made his job that much easier.
So today, when Bucs offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter had his weekly press conference, Joe asked whether playing a similar defense was the reason for Jameis’ success, or is Jameis just developing that quickly? (more…)
