Screw the NFL morality police. Sign the guy and lets win a freaking game.

  2. tmaxcon Says:

Wins trump Morality BS eveytime. Sign him weather the 2 day storm and go win some games.

  3. Buccfan37 Says:

They should open the prisons so the NFL teams can fill their rosters. There is likely some bad ass talent there. Get the commish on the phone.

  4. robert 9 Says:

sign him, his crimes are much less than the others we are considering

  5. bucco brice Says:

another abuser…lovely…no thanks, don’t care how much talent he has….bring richie and father dungy back…

  6. Luther Says:

Sure lets sign the guy who was actually convicted and you know his smile is fake. Hypocrites!!!

  7. tmaxcon Says:

    Bucsfan37

Isn’t that what the Gators do every Saturday for games.

  8. Keith Says:

@bucco brice — It was Dungy who was leading the charge for Michael Vick’s NFL return from prison.

  9. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

Sign Satan for all I care. Just start winning.

  10. Eric Says:

    Puritans losing ground again.

As I understand it the victim didn’t show up at the trial following the appeal, so the conviction was overturned. And she was drinking and doing cocaine on the night in question.

If Mr. Hardy had a law license or medical license it would not be taken away for that. Maybe placed on administrative probation but he would be allowed to continue in those professions.

But folks say he can’t play football?????

    Insane.

  11. bucrightoff Says:

Morality police? The league where murderers and wife beaters have played in for decades? The NFL has no morality, if you aren’t in jail and have talent, you have a job in the NFL.

  12. MadMax Says:

She has her side of the story, but he also has his side.

    Hell yes, sign him!

  13. Hawaiian Buc Says:

I wish I didn’t want us to sign him, but reality is, I really really want us to sign him. He could be the difference between us being a middle of the road defense to us being a top 5 defense. He and Smith on the ends with McCoy and McDonald in the middle would be pretty damn good, at least on paper. They would certainly be better than anything we’ve had since the glory days.

Eric put the whole thing in perspective. These guys are football players, not preachers. If the league allows him to play, let him play. And if he’s going to play, he might as well play on the Bucs.

  14. Solinor Says:

The guys a scumbag!! There’s no WAY Lovie would bring him in. You all are dreaming!!

  15. LargoBuc Says:

What he does off the field is not my business. But I can see why the Bucs wouldn’t trust him long term. Sign him to a one year deal kind of like Revis with the Patriots.

  16. OB Says:

I don’t think he is stupid and he knows this is his last chance in the NFL, so I expect him to be an angel except on the field.

  17. Iftheshoefits Says:

This guy is a scumbag. I’m all about second chances, but the guy should be doing time and not making millions of dollars.

  18. PaulW Says:

Don’t come crying to me when Hardy’s serving another domestic violence suspension and jail time.
