Landslide Victory For Greg Hardy

Bucs fans want Greg Hardy

The polls are closed, and nothing was rigged.

Joe’s 24-hour survey of Buccaneers fans revealed a resounding shout to Team Glazer, Lovie Smith and Jason Licht to pursue defensive end Greg Hardy.

There were no voting shenanigans, and voting twice was going to take a significant effort, likely only made by the small fringe lunatic crowd in the Bucs’ fan base.

Of the 3,377 votes recorded, 84.28 percent of fans want Hardy (2,846 votes). Only 9.39 percent don’t want Hardy, and 6.34 percent were unsure. (Yes, unlike other media, Joe has tons of engaged readers and polls get this type of participation regularly.)

This is a stunning landslide win for Hardy and very compelling data. Joe thought Hardy might get a maximum of 65 percent of the vote. But he blew that number away.

The results reveal fans want their beloved Buccaneers to win above all else. A guy like Hardy with an ugly domestic violence trial in his recent history — and Pro Bowls and double-digit sack seasons — would be embraced.

And the Bucs desperately need an edge rusher to make this defense hum, and for a shot at recapturing its Glory Days form. Joe would be pleased to see the Bucs aggressively investigate Hardy (if they aren’t already). It doesn’t hurt to talk.

  1. ADown88 Says:

Now they are reporting that an “unnamed” team is in serious talks with Hardy. Please be the Bucs!!!

  2. Jeagan1999 Says:

ESPN says he’s talking to somebody.

  3. Bama Rich Says:

    Raiders

  4. StPeteBucsFan Says:

I’m fine with taking Hardy…for the right deal. I don’t mean to burst any bubbles but I’m not sure Hardy is going to give any team the size “domestic abuse discount” we think he is.

He has TALENT. Do we not feel that fan boards like this all around the NFL with the exception of Charlotte are clamoring for their team to sign Hardy?

I would love to see them get it done but I’m not holding my breath. And I will not blame L&L if we are unable to land him.

  5. bucrightoff Says:

He’s going to Oakland. Oakland doesn’t want to be named because Mark Davis has made some pretty strong statements against domestic violence, hence them being the unnamed team.

  6. sethb22 Says:

Lol… Were Desperate and were okay with that…. Like a guy who goes home with the ugly gal… sometimes you hit the dry run and just got to say F’ it

  7. ADown88 Says:

    @Bama

Raiders were already discussed. This was supposed to be a different team.

  8. tmaxcon Says:

All the PC police will be pissed a few days then move on to the next cause. Short attention spans. He gets double digit sacks and stays out of trouble his Jersey will fly off shelves all will be forgotten. Just how society works. History is full of proof. Now he gets in trouble all bets off.

Bucs need him. Just protect team cash wise.

Didn’t McCoy tweet hardy yesterday. Captain Morality is open to it all should be

  9. Jeagan1999 Says:

Hardy does seem to be a “Raiders” kind of guy. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s who he ends up with.

  10. robert 9 Says:

sign this dude, then sign AP, then trade back, build the trenches and START THE CANNON!

  11. Ray Rice Says:

Don’t worry guys Chip Kelly is already putting a deal together.

  12. Jacko101 Says:

    It’s the raiders

  13. StPeteBucsFan Says:

    Robert

Sounds like a plan to me. Especially START THE CANNON

  14. ADown88 Says:

    @Jacko101

Did you read this somewhere, or just a hunch?

  15. Bill Says:

    Sign Hardy….Do it now.

  16. Skyline Crew Says:

I like that StPete:“domestic abuse discount”

That is the only way we could take him is at a very low contract value. Otherwise, see ya.

  17. Back up kicker Says:

Dumbass the Raiders have been named. Therefore they can not be the unnamed team…right? Please bring me The Kraken! And we don’t need a discount, pay the hunter what he wants!

  18. ADown88 Says:

    @Back up kicker

    Thank you.

  19. nybucsfan424 Says:

cut the “hawk” and keonen and get it done for the right price.

  20. Eastsidebuc Says:

Sooooo let me get this straight… People would rather have a dude who was arrested and charged with beating a woman, than a guy who was alleged to have raped one??? Hardy basically paid the girl off not to talk to cops so there was no evidence. Wow. I’ll pass on this POS.

  21. ADown88 Says:

    @Eastsidebuc

Nope, I want them equally the same.

  22. salish_seamonster Says:

This guy should be serving time right now. Signing him would be just another example of how the NFL (and our culture, in reality) takes violence towards women very lightly. This guy should be under a lifetime ban. There’s no way this piece of 5h1t3 should be rewarded with millions of dollars.

  23. Architek Says:

    Salish,
You know no details of the incident – do yourself a favor and ease on judgement.

  24. ADown88 Says:

    @salish_seamonster

The woman took the money and didn’t show up to court. If she wanted to pursue it, he would most like be in jail right now. If anyone took this case lightly, it was HER, as she intentionally ended the case in exchange for the money she was paid. Now go preach somewhere else.

  25. nybucsfan424 Says:

@adown88 x2 i feel the same way lets get AP also then we wait for “the black jesus” april 30th.

CHOO CHOO All aboard the Winston train !!

  26. DepressedbucsfaN Says:

When I read the title I thought we got him. Then I read further and it was just the poll :(. I knew the majority of the fans would vote to bring him here. I heard that Oakland is also trying to get him and you know they have enough money to buy whoever they want. I pray that he just wants to come to us so he could stick it to Carolina. But per an article that I read he won’t be available until Tuesday to pick up. God Tampa do what ever it takes to get him.

  27. Arealbucsfan Says:

6 teams are interested in Hardy. Hopefully we’re one of them and are making a strong push

  28. Skyline Crew Says:

Ray Rice, AP, Hardy, and Winston. Bucs would definitely be making headlines then. For all the wrong reasons.

  29. salish_seamonster Says:

OK, the only question that matters is if he beat the crap out of that woman. If he did, it’s case closed — don’t want him. I don’t care if you think the woman was out for a money grab… none of that matters. Did he beat up that woman? Does anyone have reason to believe he didn’t?

  30. Warren Says:

My morals have gone out the window when it comes to how bad I want this football team to win….you can bring in every criminal that has been cleared of wrong-doing (even though we all know he’s guilty) to the Bucs if it means an above .500 record. My desperation has hit an all time low…..

  31. Couch Fan Says:

Who are you to judge someone when the woman accepted money to not continue to press charges. If it was good enough for her how the heck can you sit there and judge the man and say thats not good enough. If its good enough for her its good enough for me.

Sheesh, this morality crap is ridiculous.

  32. TonyBuc Says:

What I’d give to see him a bucs jersey, come on L&L give us fans what we want!

  33. robert 9 Says:

all he did was show her his pimp hand. aint like we haven’t all done it 1000 times

  34. chargedcbh Says:

Isn’t funny everybody wants Hardy but not Winston.

  35. Skyline Crew Says:

I can judge someone just as easy as you can. He beat up a woman. Big man he is. Most guys that do that are just punks. Sorry, but I don’t like the guy as a person and don’t want him on my team. Just like I don’t want a child abuser on my team.

  36. bucco brice Says:

trouble…put a TEAM together, not a basket of bad apples…

  37. robert 9 Says:

    i’ll get his jersey.

  38. Daniel Says:

HARDY, HARDY, HARDY, release the Kraken in the bay!

  39. robert 9 Says:

maybe some of us have had dealings with crazy bit$#es, we just have not raped anyone.

  40. MarshallU Says:

Hardy and Winston. Out of desparation for wins, it’s amazing how far Bucs fan’s standards have fallen. Shame

  41. bucco brice Says:

    @MarshallU
…I’ll second that…bring back Rich and Father Dungy!

  42. StPeteBucsFan Says:

    @Salish

While I certainly accept your points and as the son of a loser father who pounded my mother frequently I abhor men who put their hands on women.

You are correct about society looking the other way for far too long.

But we are in a gray area here IMHO. He did the crime and he has paid the time by getting suspended for the year.

Do we believe in any second chances? Now if someone has evidence that this has happened with other women in Hardy’s life then I’m with you. But if this was a disagreement between Hardy and his wife and it only happened once then I’m ok with a second chance.

I’m always more concerned with patterns of behavior than single incidents. If this has been a pattern in Hardy’s life I would agree but nobody has linked any other incidents for me yet and so I’m definitely open to giving him a second chance.

BTW as the son of a wife abuser I’ve done some research into the subject out of concern for myself! Sons of wife beaters tend to go one of two ways…they either continue the family tradition and beat their women or they become haters of men who touch their ladies. I fall into the latter. I’ve almost had my butt kicked on more than one occasion because I saw a guy abusing his wife in public and my neurosis forced me to butt in making the woman abuser very very angry with me.

It’s my own anger at my father that brings this out when I see a man hitting a woman, but trust me it scares me. I do not wish to kill anybody or be killed.

  43. gatorsnbucs Says:

Please Please let me see Hardy and GMC next to each other

  44. bucco brice Says:

    L.Williams at LE, J.Smith at RE…problem solved

  45. gatorsnbucs Says:

We sure do agree alot SPBF no matter what name I have to use

  46. Dewey Selmon Says:

I have no control what the front office does. I can only root for the 22 players in Pewter & Red. If a rapist and girl beater are on the team so be it. I don’t like it but society is going down the crapper anyways.

  47. salish_seamonster Says:

Again, I don’t care if the woman took the money. Doesn’t even weigh in for me. Only one thing matters – is he the kind of guy who beats up women? Yes. I don’t want to have a team that pays millions of dollars to men who beat women (or commit violent crimes of any kind). All these apologists for violence against women just amaze me.

  48. ufcguy Says:

Joe u should grab jason licht and show him this poll. Please oh please sign him. I just dont trust our drafting of de anymore

  49. Bucs fan Says:

It’s weird that GMC and others just started following him on Twitter. Including Joe. What’s up with that Joe. You know something that you are not telling?

  50. bucs4lyfe Says:

anyone of you beat women it wont hinder you from getting a job, it is not a factor in what kind of employee you are (most of the time) if it is you probably have no job but you do have the ability to go job hunting which is what he’s doing. someone is going to hire this guy regardless of this incident and it is usually an isolated incident that had a lot to do with that particular woman. no one in the nfl has gone ike turner woman after woman after woman. making it rain in the strip clubs like pacman did was a distraction and this could do if he was constantly in trouble like that but he’s not so someone will hire this guy and no woman’s right group will do a thing about it because they have platform of the nfl now to get their messages across. of course you kick the tires and find out if this guy could play for you

  51. bucco brice Says:

    Selvie….

  52. Babaloo Says:

Have fun explaining it to your wife or girlfriend. He will also be spending half his year suspended. He was guilty. The only reason he’s not sitting in jail for the next few years is that he either scarred his girlfriend so bad that she refused to show up or he paid her off.

So when your daughter asks why that is ok you just tell her it’s ok because he can get sacks.

  53. Babaloo Says:

    Gmc has been recruiting him

  54. MGM#8 Says:

The Raiders are a named team.I read an article a couple days ago about them.Maybe it is us!Go Bucs!!!

  55. tmaxcon Says:

    Selvie can’t carry Hardy’s jock.

Hardy is not Charles Manson. Cocaine, guns, late nights and crazy women never ends well. Hopefully Hardy learned his lesson. No women ever deserves to hit under any circumstances. I’d rather he get a job versus free loading off hard working Americans and the Obama charity machine. Let the man work. If he screws up lock him up.

  56. tmaxcon Says:

    To be hit….

Before the sensitive babies go nuts

  57. bucco brice Says:

    @tmaxcon
yeah I know Selvie can’t….another body for camp…F the criminals and high priced garbage….draft, draft, draft…

  58. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

All this nonsense about our wives and daughters being upset over Winston and Hardy is exactly that… OVERBLOWN nonsense.

    You liberals make me SICK!

  59. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

So my 7 year old daughter is going to be upset that we signed Hardy or Winston?

Really? She still plays with Barbie, I can’t see how the question would even come up…then again I’m not a liberal pansy ass either.

  60. salish_seamonster Says:

    87-

Being opposed to rewarding violent criminals isn’t liberal or conservative. But, making excuses for wife beaters is most definitely a conservative value. Enjoy.

  61. bucs4lyfe Says:

lol your wife and daughter? daniel tosh makes fun of victims men women he doesn’t care but because he does it in comedy no one says anything or complains because they can simply turn the channel, maybe someone of you worried about how to explain this to your wife and daughter should start watching the cooking channel instead of football. if your in the nfl you can lose money in the offseason with things like this but you cant make it. football is about entertainment it’s not meant to raise your kids sorry but that’s your job to explain the ways of the world

  62. Chris Says:

I just want the Bucs to win. My morals are out the window when it comes to our horrendous team. I don’t care if he smacked his wife, I’ll smack her too. Lets develop a winning culture here then we can clean out any bad seeds when we’re no longer a laughingstock.

  63. LUVMYBUCS Says:

Dammn-This Tommy John situation is getting way out of hand w/ high school, college and professional pitchers.

“Yu Darvish To Undergo Tommy John Surgery”

  64. robert 9 Says:

I knew a guy who went through the same thing. spent 2 days in jail cause his crazy ass girlfriend went completely mental. this person had had women slap beats and bit him before, and he even called the cops once. they basically laughed at him, and told him to defend himself. well, when he did show his pimp hand to his current psycho one night after she lost it…guess what she went running to the phone, blah, blah, blah. and he went to jail. know what. she did not show, the cop did not show, because he was there and knew this girl was a friggen nut job and potentially just f-ed this guys life up big time. case dismissed.

now a days, the cops get called someone is going to jail in a domestic fight, and 99% of the time it’s the guy even if she beat the hell out of him.

it’s on TV all day long, women smacking men, etc. and it’s ok. they’ve done studies on the double standard. I am not for hitting a woman, don’t get me wrong, but I have seen the double standard and how it effects people.

    sign him!

  65. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

salish_seamonster…worrying about what my daughters going to think. To me that’s liberal as all hell.

  66. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

Chris …I just posed the question to my wife after telling her the details on Hardy.

Her answer : “I don’t care, was she related to me, or do I know her? If not then I don’t care, go get him.”

My wife is a nearly as big of a fan as me, just not as long as me.

  67. salish_seamonster Says:

    87-
I didn’t say anything about what your daughter thinks. I think you’re attributing someone else’s comments to me… I also think this isn’t the platform for liberal bashing… If concern about violence towards women is a liberal issue, then I think it’s the other side that has a problem. Proud to be a liberal, BTW.

  68. Please Says:

Just reading through these comments is disappointingly eye-opening… I guess the internet really is where all the degenerates come to speak their mind. Here’s to hoping all Bucs fans aren’t of this same insensitive mindset.

  69. Zam Says:

What’s wrong with you people? I hope he moves in right next to you and beats the crap out of you.

But you did reply about something that I said below about fans worrying what their daughters and wives are going to think….

That’s what makes me sick about a liberals….the worry.

I was not talking about whether I condone such behavior or not. I was talking about the worrying about what you’re daughter is going to think about Hardy is to me EXTREMELY liberal.

    Which does make sick.

  71. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

Some team is going to take Hardy and Ray Rice.

Oh the liberal patrol is out in full force now.

    Here they come…

  72. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

Whoopie Goldberg (liberal) caught hell for supporting Ray Rice.

Saying something along the lines that if you put your hand on another person you should expect to be hit back whether your a female or not. I don;t think she condoned the act, just that she said a woman should expect it before they strike a man.

Not saying I agree with her. Just putting it out there.

  73. salish_seamonster Says:

    87-
Give the liberal stuff a rest dude. No one’s out here bashing conservatives, and we certainly could. Attacking someone’s political leanings is a transparent way of avoiding addressing actual issues.

  74. DepressedbucsfaN Says:

Ok people. We don’t know the whole story to pass judgement. He had guns everywhere. He was probably cleaning his guns as I like to do every so often and the girl pointed a gun at him. I’m sorry for you who are soft hearted but I am a Soldier and whoever points a weapon at me is going down. I have seen too many accidents where people thought their weapon was cleared and shot the other soldier jokingly. So before we go all crazy and want to burn the man at the stake know the whole story. Besides… I would bet that if we do get him and he breaks Simeon’s sack record we wouldn’t hear a peep from you… What 9.39% that don’t want him. There is always two sides to the story. Listen to both before you judge! Oh well u won’t get to hear the other side…. So don’t judge.

  75. lurker Says:

ESPN’s Bill Williamson reports the Raiders have not discussed signing free agent Greg Hardy.

There have been mixed reports on Oakland’s supposed pursuit of Hardy, but most local reporters say there’s nothing cooking. It would, of course, be beneficial for Hardy to be linked to the Raiders, who have enough cap space to drive up the price on any player.

lurker..so you’re worried about what your daughter will think?

  79. bucco brice Says:

sign an abuser, for big dollars, who will be suspended and be a black mark to the franchise….yeah, great move lol…I’ll take another 2-14 before winning with a bunch of a-holes and people with poor morals…

  80. 87ForJameisNOMariota Says:

    When someone says to me.

What will you tell your daughter or wife about Winston or Hardy?

I don’t even have an answer for them, because I don’t think the issue will ever come up in my house. In fact I KNOW it will never come up in my house.

To worry about such things in advance to me is someone being too damned liberal. So to me the worry is a liberal problem. Seeing how I’m not worried in the slightest.

bucco bruce: sign an abuser, for big dollars, who will be suspended and be a black mark to the franchise….yeah, great move lol…I’ll take another 2-14 before winning with a bunch of a-holes and people with poor morals…

    —————————————-

Who here is without sin? We all judge people but we’re not the judge ultimately. It’s a football game, and there are no moral victories in football. We don’t how long he’ll be suspended if at all, you have to take a risk. Every team has a bad apple or two….NE with Blount, Hernadez, etc.

  82. bucco brice Says:

    @feelthepewterpower
yeah, it’s inevitable to have bad apples but the less the better…also, the great coaches stress having smart players. i dare say the troublemakers aren’t that smart…

  83. ShaneBucFan Says:

Guys!!!….can you just think about what our defense would look like with Hardy?!!! Can you imagine if they passed on Winston and got Williams?!!! Think of how deep we are the the DT position now!!! It would be scary how good our line could be!!! Get Hardy, get Williams, draft OL for the next 2 to 3 rounds, hopefully get at least one OL in free agency, and our QB situation is solved! Any one could be successful with a D this stout!!! Plus Glennon isn’t bad! He’s never been handed good cards! We could have the best defense, average line and QB, and be great because we also have great receiving weapons! Give us Hardy! AP would just be icing on anyone’s cake….. But Hardy is a must!!! Only 26! In his prime! And bottom line…if we don’t get him someone else will!!!! They don’t learn lessons in this league!!! They get paid more elsewhere choosing where they go!!!! We absolutely NEED Hardy!!!!

  84. Todd Says:

Come on joe? You know we like pass rushers who can’t get to the qb!

  85. Larry Says:

2:18pm: Speaking to Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News, Mark Davis called rumors of the Raiders’ interest in Hardy “false, falser, and falsest.”

“He’s somebody we are not negotiating with and I don’t believe we would be interested in at this point in time,” Davis said. “I can tell you this: It has not been brought up to me and it would have to come to me.”

  86. tmaxcon Says:

    Bucs brice

I’d settle for smart coach. Bucs have not had one since Gruden.

  87. BucIt941 Says:

Instead of going after AP maybe we should just get Trent Richardson of the Waivers and sign Greg Hardy with the money instead.

  88. lurker Says:

i am liberal but hope that you would do the parenting. i do not think taking your daughter to a football game with or without hardy is a danger to her. lol.

    @87′

    Per: Ira Kaufman (10-hours ago)
With two former Chicago safeties on the Buc roster, veteran safety Dashon Goldson awaits his fate under head coach Lovie Smith.

    Per: Rick Stroud (Yesterday)
With the signing if Bears S Chris Conte, #Bucs will attempt to trade (S) Dashon Goldson. But with his $8-mil salary, that could be tough.

  108. Just Win Jamies Says:

If they sign him, its it shows to buc fans their serious about winning AND I would BUY a season ticket even though I wouldn’t attent a game…Just give it away each Sunday to a true Buc fan 🙂

Disclaimer: No plants were INTENTIONALLY harmed-in the making of this proposal.

But how many were burnt up in the name of “enlightment”. 🙂

I like the way you think out of the box. I will say this…we’d be instantly competitive in our division if we could pull of all those moves.

  113. Phillip Says:

    @LMB

Not a fan of the Brees and AP trade(or signing AP if he’s cut).. Brees as great as he is (1st ballot HoF) he declined rapidly last season and it worries me.. AP is 30 and has a TON of mileage on the tires.

If they don’t take Winston they won’t take DGB lol… The kid is a freak and has potential through the friggin roof but also immature.. Give me the potential Jimmy Graham style player instead if we trade back with Devin Funchess (who just so happens to go to MICHIGAN! 🙂 ) and also just ran a low 4.5 40 at his pro day so people can stop complaining.

I’m for the trade back if we don’t select MM but I’m dialing up the Browns first. Better 1st round picks and also we aren’t trading a potential franchise QB to our division foes. Don’t need the what could have been articles from JBF if MM or JW5 (keeps his head on straight)turns out to be great and plays against us for the next 10 years. I’d also take a hybrid DE/OLB with the first of those two picks. 2nd or 3rd I’d be all over Hundley where ever he is projected to go or where Licht thinks he can get him.

  114. LUVMYBUCS Says:

    @Stpetebucsfan

Lol, plenty my brotha ..plenty! Instant match up nightmare.

    Phillip

Meeeeechigan Yeah, Funchess is solid-Hands are not to hot though. As for DGB, yeah the kids has issues to work around for sure. Young dudes a beast though-But hey, that’s where Lovie Smith & Vincent Jackson are suppose to step to the table and help mentor the kid. (Takes a village some time)

As for Brees, being on the same page as receivers. I’ve heard thats a little more personal. Of course age is in play-but he still put up decent numbers. A change of scenery might do him so good though.

    Especially w/ that line Up^^^^^

    Et Certa

That kid of Penn State TE-Jesse James is nice too.

Just one little problem – Oakland wants him, too. This could be way too expensive for the BUCS.

Transcripts of 911 calls from incident that resulted in two misdemeanor charges, including assault on a female, against Caroline Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy:

    Greg Hardy’s 911 call

911: Charlotte Mecklenburg 911, this is David. Do you need police, fire or medic? 911, do you need police, fire or medic?

Hardy: (Inaudible.) She’s hit me in the face twice. She won’t get out. We’re trying to get her out of my house. She keeps running back in every time. My neighbor is outside, she’s witnessed everything.

    911: What’s the address?

    Hardy: Somebody please come.

    911: Sir?

Hardy: I have a videotape of everything. … Keep her away from me, please. My assistant is trying to retain her. She’s trying to break free, hit me with her heel. Now I’m literally running around the table right now. She’s trying to hit me with a shoe.

    911: What’s your phone number?

Hardy: Ahhh (expletive). She broke some glass. Man, (expletive). (Expletive)!

911: What is your phone number?

Hardy: She’s trying to hit me with another shoe. I’m behind the bar. I’m not touching her. My manager’s retaining her. She’s still trying to get me.

911: She’s outside of the apartment right now?

Hardy: No, she won’t let me close the door, and I can’t touch her to get her out. She’s literally kicking and scratching but my manager is retaining her. She’s throwing one of her heels right now. She just tried to hit me once. She’s hit me in the face twice. I’m trying to stay away from her. Can you please send somebody to help me? Keep her, bro. Keep her. Don’t let her go. Don’t let her go.

    911: Do you need medic?

Hardy: I don’t need a medic. She hit me in the face, I’m fine. I’m not bleeding or anything. It’s a little swollen but I’m fine. … You shouldn’t have hit me. You shouldn’t have hit me.

    (background noise)

    Hardy: Hello?

    911: Yes, sir?

Hardy: She refused to leave. She told me to break her arm when I asked her to leave. (background noise)

Hardy: Hello? What, what, what should I do? Should I leave? What should I do? She…

911: Where are you at now?

Hardy: I’m inside the apartment. Trying to get out, she’s literally blocking. She’s at the door, won’t leave. We’ve been trying to get her to leave for an hour. I’ve asked her to leave a thousand times and she hit me in the face twice. I can’t walk through my kitchen, there’s glass. She broke glass.

911: Has there been any drug usage?

Hardy: Yeah I think she’s on coke or something. I don’t know. She’s been drinking. I don’t know what she’s on man.

    911: OK. Is it…

Hardy: Like yo, she’s out of it, my man. And she will not stop coming at me, bro.

911: Were there any other weapons involved?

    Hardy: Come again?

    911: Any other weapons?

    Hardy: There’s no other witnesses.

    911: Any other weapons?

Hardy: Ah (expletive), am I bleeding? (Expletive), I’m bleeding, man. (Expletive).

911: Are there any other weapons involved?

Hardy: Yes, my manager is standing right here trying to keep her away from me.

    911: No, weapons.

Hardy: No. it’s just me and him here. She came in …

911: Sir, does she have any other weapons such as a gun or knife?

Hardy: No. She’s swinging her fists and her heels. I have one of her heels now. Her other heel is on the ground. She doesn’t have the heel right now and that’s all she was swinging at me. My manager is trying to detain her. He’s not trying to hurt her or anything, just trying to keep her away from me.

911: Were you trying to leave the property?

    Hardy: Come again.

    911: You said …

Hardy: She’s fighting my manager right now trying to …

911: OK, well, we’ll have a unit out to (redacted).

Hardy: Oh she’s trying to come at me, bro. Don’t let her do it, bro.

911: We have an officer out there to be dispatched. OK?

Hardy: Thank you. Please, please hurry.

Sign him- rather he is on our team than play against him. Plus, he fills a HUGE need. If he beats his wife, we kick him off the team. Make his contract incentive laden with minimum snaps and games clauses. Boom. I am a better GM than anyone since Mccay.
