“Their Best Game Overall”

November 9th, 2014

No reason for an O-line setback

They run blocked like champs in the first half. They passed blocked all day.

No, it wasn’t the fault of Tampa Bay’s offensive line that Mike Glennon flushed touchdown throws down the toilet in last Sunday’s five-point loss to Cleveland.

Now what?

That same group, including Oneil Cousins taking over  at left tackle, returns to the field today against the Falcons. And they’re all healthy. These guys are jelling. Offensive line coach George Warhop even said their success last week was a three-week culmination of better practice.

So Joe can not accept this unit taking a step backwards today. There’s no reason for it, not with a bunch of veterans in place against a garbage Atlanta defense.

The Falcons have just seven — seven — sacks all year to go with their poor run defense.

It’s time to look like a decent football team.

You can hear Bucs general manager talk about the offensive line and “their best game overall” in this WDAE-AM 620 audio.

I’ve been wrong on my “hunches” all season….however, I have this “hunch” that everything is going to come together today. Offense has a big day, defense makes some plays, we win 35-10, and Mike Smith gets fired on the flight back to Altlanta.

I never want the Bucs to lose, but…. I have this awful gut feeling that we win a couple more games and get screwed again and pick 6th or 7th in the draft… pic a OL that is a bust, then draft a QB in the 5th round and think we stole him…. the “new” face of the franchise 🙁

    Joe

You are spot on about the line and I think we will see the runners run wild and the QB will have time to throw now if he can just get the ball where the receiver can catch it we will score a lot of points.

The defense is getting better every week and they will score some points but we hope, not many.

If the special teams turn special, we just might give them Falcons what they truly deserve….

Their best game overall…without that fraud Collins. Oniel Who? Cousins just took his job. The problems run very deep on this team and in this organization.

Good Morning Buc Fans. Is it going to be Game Day or Shame Day?

    More like another blame day.

I agree, a Tampa win today will send Mike Smith to the unemployment line!
Especially since they thrashed us so badly before.
Cleveland is a lot better team then many people think, and we gave them a real scare.
Slowly but surely, I am seeing signs of improvement.

Did you hear the one about the Bucs beating Atlanta 35-10? That’s too funny!
