Joe Talks Messiness, F-Grade, Improvement, Double Talk, Smoke Screens & More

November 6th, 2014

joe_mug_shotIt’s time for Joe’s weekly podcast with Joe and silky-toned Ronnie Lane of the Buccaneers Radio Network and WDAE-AM 620.

Joe got a little emotional and dove into a variety of subjects.

Enjoy!

here is what lovie said about glennon/mccown:

“I think we need better play at the quarterback position right now. You start with that. … [Josh McCown)] was our starter before. … We need a little boost. It’s like that with all positions. If the play isn’t what we think it should be, we see if there’s another option we should look at,” Smith said, via the Tampa Bay Times. “If I didn’t feel good about what he would do for us, we wouldn’t go this direction. We think that we’re doing some good things right now, and if that quarterback position can give us a few more plays, we can take off.”

Mike Glennon could have thrown at least 4 TD’s against the Browns last week. Instead he sunk the MGM ship and will probably end up getting released instead of traded!!

Thanks again Mike Glennon! You B!TCH!!

“It’s as simple as that” – Lovie Smith

So when you gonna get your own show Joe’s? Just listened to you guys and Duemig before this and now know I can never put myself through that again!

    Freemanite trolladeilic troll. 🙂

Way to root for he Bucs, clearly you have a disformed appreciation for our team.

    Keep up the great work!

@NCMike – I’d love to see the Joes fill the 12-3 slot on 98.7. They wouldn’t have to worry about content because they’d take up half their show just rattling off the super long nicknames they have for people

  6. NCMike Says:

Hey at least the nicknames are rather funny

  7. Chef Paul Says:

I’m not getting Joe. It’s only showing Vincent Jackson’s weekly media session.

I went to WDAE website and listened. That was a great one, Joe. I loved the emotion!!!

I have to ask though, because before I found Joebucsfan (about 2 years ago) I knew about the Bucs only from what I saw on ESPN or NFL network. Is it fact that the Glazers canned Gruden for not developing a QB or is that just what is widely thought?

  9. Pelbuc Says:

Grant land.com made an interesting suggestion. We know McCown and Glennon are not the long term answer so they suggested giving Kafka a chance. That way you evaluate the last remaining QB on the roster, most likely keep on losing meaningless games and Bucs don’t hurt their draft value. Lovie could evaluate the QB position same as he has for the returners.

  10. Buc1987ForJameis Says:

My my my Joe how you and I think so very close to the same way on a number of things. The Glazers handcuffing Lovie to draft a franchise QB….Schiano’s team looking better than Lovie’s, which I’ve been saying since week 2. When I’ve said Schiano’s team looked better prepared to play a game of football than Lovie’s.

I knew you liked me Joe. LOL I just knew it..we’re too much alike.

AND you have my dream job….which makes me jealous.

  11. Buc1987ForJameis Says:

Oh yeah and once again another bang up job on the radio for the brief time that you got. I liked the segment a lot.

This was a outstanding podcast! Very real and no BS outlook on the worst franchise in the NFL!

Oh the Raiders look to have a franchise QB!
