“Doesn’t Look Like It Wants To Be Physical”

Who will want it more in the trenches today?

Who will want it more in the trenches today?

There’s no greater insult to a football team than to call it “soft.”

That’s a real kick to the manhood. In the excellent Xs and Os Playbook show on NFL Network, former Super Bowl winning head coach Brian Billick went to the game film and broke down why he thinks the Saints are soft.

“At some point I just can see Rob Ryan standing on the sideline yelling, ‘I can’t put any more people down in this box!’ At some point you got to physically hold up,” Billick said. “This team doesn’t look like it wants to be physical. And that’s not typical of a Ryan, Rex or Rob, defense.”

You can watch the full Bucs-Saints segment here.

The slowly emerging Bucs offensive line has a real opportunity today against a Saints defense that has been dreadful, even more dreadful than the Bucs’ defense.

Man, if the Bucs can churn up some yards on the ground, that could go such a long way towards opening up the passing game and keeping Drew Brees off the field.

    GO BUCS!

They should have named that the Saints playbook instead. I dont think one word was mentioned about the Bucs. Hopefully after today people wont have a choice to talk about us in a good way. GOOOO BUCS!!!!!!!

We win this game if we get pressure on Brees and run the ball. Our secondary will not hold up if he has time, and we need to chew as much clock as possible on offense. IMO, that’s the game, right there.

I think we have a chance today to, against the odds, stay in the hunt for the division.

Logan Mankins is looking like a steal of a deal at this point.

@Architek. Last time i check the saints have won just as much as the Bucs this year. Also I’m pretty sure Fletcher started last week.

  15. Buc1987 Says:

Tim Wright 4 receptions, 38 yards, no TD’s. We stole Mankins so far.

He’s the chief offender biting on the play-action and his drops in zone coverage is terrible. The film don’t lie.

Topcoach1987, glad to see i am not the only one harrassed by obnoxious saints fans. Everyone else I know regardless of the team they support is not nearly as cocky and obnoxious-overbearing is Saints fans. They have to be the worst.
