Around The NFC South

August 19th, 2014

The Bucs play a total of six games a year against the hated Dixie Chicks, the Stinkin’ Panthers, and the bounty-loving Saints. For those who want to snoop on the Bucs’ hated rivals, Joe provides a regular glimpse at what’s happening around the NFC South.

Wait a minute. A Rutgers receiver impressing Sean Payton with Saints first team? []

It’s official. Jake Matthews will move from right tackle to left tackle to replace starter Sam Baker, who blew out his knee. [Journal-Constitution]

That’s where you ultimately want Matthews anyway. Sucks for them.

  2. D-Rome Says:

Underwood has enough talent to stick in the NFL. If he’s cut by Carolina someone will pick him up.

Wow, falcons may really struggle this year. Sam Baker never really a dominant force but any injuries to Matty Ice or Julio Jones will sink them this year.

Saints, on the other hand… Super Bowl contenders

    @ D-Rome

If the WR poor Kitties can dump him, his time is over. He has started each of the past two seasons on the couch. That’s at least 3 teams to pass on him. He’s frail and has the dropsies. His time to find a new career is due.

Looks like that kid Coleman was a steal for the saints. If they try to stash him on PS someone will pick him up. Saint also look to be cutting a guard. Have you seen their payroll for that O-line, boy they got a lot of cap on it?
