Lynch Making Excuses For Dolphins

November 14th, 2013

Plenty of Bucs icons were in town Monday for Warren Sapp night. One was John Lynch, now a FOX NFL analyst, who took time to talk to Dolphins players and get the pulse of the team in the face of their hazing scandal.

It seems Lynch found a bunch of “mentally exhausted” men facing the Bucs. Lynch explains in the video below, in which it seems his FOXSports1 colleague, Brian Urlacher, doesn’t buy the excuse for the Dolphins’ struggles against Tampa Bay.

If the Dolphins get to have an excuse for a week of “mental exhaustion”…..then the Bucs have one for the whole season.

Here again is an ex Buc doing his best to be “objective” which means take the side of the other team….

  2. Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

John Lynch seems to have never gotten over some things.
He can be almost Anti Bucs at times.

  3. Celly Says:

I, personally, don’t care how we got our win. I’d rather have my 1 win team get a #2 pick than my 0 win team get the 1st draft pick.

The only thing worse than having a franchise that has a 0 win season is to have a franchise with TWO zero win seasons.

  4. Super Friend Says:

I struggle to really remember the last positive thing he said in the games he has called for Fox. I agree with Apple, something happened we don’t know about which is making him anti-Buc. I don’t remember John providing the Bucs with an excuse back when it was MRSA time.

  5. Gatorbati Says:

He flew to Tampa to honor Warren Sapp, he wore his old Bucs jersey, he cried when he left the team… what more do you want from the man?

  6. Chris Says:

Look joe it’s lynch’s job to be honest and give proper analysis. We beat up a team in more disarray then us. Will it carry over? Who knows.

  7. Lev Says:

If you lose to the best college team in the NFL a.k.a the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, you really are having problems.

  8. Bucfan#37 Says:

I thought Lynch was overrated while playing for the Bucs. His best play was the pick return TD off McNabb in the NFC title game that led to Superbowl.

  9. Bucs or Gtfo Says:

    @bucfan37 You’re joking right?

  10. Jbeachbuc Says:

    HaHaHaaa!
No frickin ‘ way… BucFan.Please tell me you’re NOT joking. That would truly be an epic and classic post . One we may never forget , huh GTFO??

  11. Jbeachbuc Says:

Yes I remember clearly Bucfan… I still have my white reebok # 20 Lych jersey tat wore that night in San Diego!!!

  12. Chris Says:

Lynch was one of the big three that turned this franchise around. As far as I am concerned, he’ll always be royalty around tampa bay. And what did he say that was so ‘anti-buc’? The dolphins were obviously distracted.

Wow! One poster thinks it was Lynch (not Barber) who made “the pick” against the Eagles and another remembers it being in San Diego (not Philadelphia). Lynch is an icon. I’m certainly not going to discount his career here because he sees this team for what it has become.
