Well folks, as much as Joe looks forward to the start of training camp, Joe looks forward to the end of preseason. We are almost there.
But tonight, it is the beer truck drivers vs. the bouncers; insurance claims adjusters vs. used car salesmen; history teachers vs. janitors. In short, most of the players who will take the field tonight will be out of a job in three days.
Feel free to discuss tonight’s exhibition. Remember, as always, you may e-mail among yourselves illegally streamed video of tonight’s game. But posting said links here will get you run.

Great news for Dominick,
Tom Crabtree is down and holding his ankle. TE sucks, I thought the rock star said, “Luke Stocker had a 2nd round grade, that is why we were comfortable trading two 4th round picks for him.”
It is only the preseason, and we are looking really sketchy going into this year. Injuies, infections, and getting beat in the trenches is a sure fire way to have a really long freaking year.
Forget Freeman, does pop star keep his job without a winning year? 2003 since a playoff victory, and someone on here today said, “now the bucs are turning into the Browns of the NFC”. Not good.

Schiano needs to do something about the lack of intensity, and what seems like a lack of preparedness.
I hope this doesnt become the New Schiano Disorder. This has been a sloppy preseason.
Schiano got a pass last year cause he was a rookie, but this year, any praises/blame will fall on him.

I know what you mean, I have challenged the execution of our starters these past three preseason games but this is different.
The fourth game shouldn’t even be considered a preseason game.
Heck they shouldn’t even be giving it half of what they have if they are going to make the roster at this point, they should honestly be focused on preserving themselves for the season and not getting injured ala Crabtree.
Just my opinion. Barber is getting on my nerves jajaja.

I saw Eli Manning taking a few snaps tonight in their game. I am fine with the Bucs taking a low – rep approach for starters in the preseason, but I want to hear zero excuses about not being ready for Week 1 from them after the game. They made the choice to not play starters a lot the entire preseason, zero excuses.

Look, on the real side, this just means their insurance salesmen are much better than ours. You don’t judge depth by the entire team. You judge depth by which individuals can play with the first unit if someone goes down. As a whole we have looked atrocious but on tape certain individuals will show up as doing their job. They will be the ones to make the cut. Schiano is keeping it vanilla on purpose. He just wants to see which individuals can impose their will on the opposition. Nearly all of the men on the field tonight will be cut. Schiano is really pissed at how sloppy this first half has been and very few have made their case to make the team.

I don’t know! …I’m totally at a loss …. For the first time in quite a while I do not know what to expect when we start the season. All the national media says were pretenders and then we back them up by having a horrible preseason. Where do we stand? Are we better than what they think or are we smoke and mirrors? This is frustrating. Buckle your seatbelts Buc fans this could go either way.

Hard to judge a preseason game. U got a big mix of individuals playin good n guys playin bad. A combination of both could make the better player look great or vice versa the bad player could make a good player lookbad. Freeman is my qb but it woul have been nice to know glennon could back him up without orlovsky on the roster. That spot couldve gone 2 one of our 4 rbs.

I’ll admit two things. I hated the Glennon pick, and I really hoped he would look ready to be our backup QB. Well, I still hate the pick. He doesn’t look ready at all. Yes, he played with a bunch of scrubs, but he also played against a bunch of scrubs and still looked horrible. I still don’t think we have an adequate backup at QB. And I think we’re less likely to draft one high next year because “we have Glennon”.

LB-Adam Hayward had 2 fumble recoveries last week. But he’s been, run over a few times, and very inconsistent tackling in space. And since a he’s free agent next year.(#58 Ka’Lial Glaud is a better prospect at this point)
– #58 Ka’Lial Glaud- Fluid in coverage, tackles well in space consistently, and plays with some pop.
-#Black & Tandy at safety–Head scratcher? Dom Please Upgrade( Sean Baker anyone?)
-#92 William Gholston is a beast-His long arms forced a fumble last( while playing at DT). Kid has major upside
-#87 Jordan Norwood-Did this dude just come off the streets as WR-Then played in the game as a running back and play well?( granted it was with reserves)..His versatility as an athlete & Chris Owusu past concussion issues might have solidified him a roster spot-WOw!
