“Ninety Percent Sure” Aqib Talib Stays With Bucs

July 11th, 2011

Though some publications wrote off Aqib Talib from the Bucs before his wrists healed from being pinched, the crowd at The News Center was much more cautious in its assessment of Talib’s job security. Here, Anwar Richardson and Woody Cummings of the Tampa Tribune discuss Talib and the Bucs in this TBO Bucs video vlog.

Thee is no doubt that the Bucs are gonna keep Talib. They’d be fools to release him at this point in time. BTW… Where’s our morning cup??????????

  2. OB Says:

This must be an older video because his trial date is in March 2012 as of now.

Second, he has not been convicted and it is a he said situation with a Mother and sister involved with violence done before he arrived. If the charges are dismissed and/or he is found not guilty, there is nothing anyone can do.

Joe, ask your legal guys on what they think of a restraint of trade charge on the NFL if they don’t let him play, since there was not a contract in force at the time.

  3. Roy Cummings Says:

OB is absolutely right. Anwar and I shot this video just a few days before it was learned that Talib’s trial date had been set for March, 2012. We could have gone back and re-done it but that trial date didn’t change our opinions on the key matters. Besides, we’re both on vacation now, resting up for the start of training camp in late July. See you there.

  4. Jrock Says:

Resting up for training camp eh? Does someone have some insider news that can’t share but can nonchalantly let loose? Makes me giddy with excitement.

And thanks for the video, you and Anwar are a great duo, I love the vlog.

Talib needs to hire Casey Anthony’s lawyer! If that lowlife woman (who obviously was guilty) can be found innocent, then Talib most certainly can! lol
