Celebrate With Joe

February 8th, 2010

Joe is throwing back a Caybrew and visiting Topper Town today in honor of a full year and half spent delivering Bucs fans nearly 4,000 posts of news, commentary, analysis, video and everything Bucs-related in that timetable.

No other media outlet comes close to that number since August of 2008. Joe is proud to serve you.

JoeBucsFan.com has enjoyed well over one million visits to the site. And traffic grows every month. Joe is humbled. And Joe can’t wait to witness the growth here when he rolls out a new and exciting wrinkle in March.

Joe tips his cap — and Caybrew — to his sponsors and readers, plus various print, TV, radio, Web and media colleagues — local and national — who have shown him much love. And Joe can’t forget the lovely Amanda Harris, of JoeBoltsFan.com.

All Joe can ask of you is to tell a friend about JoeBucsFan.com and feel free to follow Joe on Twitter and Facebook.

**Also, if you’re a business owner, you can electrify your business with advertising on JoeBucsFan.com. Joe is cheap, easy and effective, much like the women he rolled with in college. E-mail Joe at joe@JoeBucsFan.com today for information.

    Joe,

Can you come up with detailed articles regarding the salary cap-less upcoming year. The rumors, the potential effects. Conjur up some scenarios.

    Joe here,

B From O-Town: There’s not much to say right now. There will be no bottom or top when it comes to the salary cap in 2010, much like Joe likes his women.

And there’s not any good info. yet on what would happen when the salary cap resumes, assuming it comes back with a new collective bargaining agreement.

For now, obviously, the Bucs will surely be at the bottom of the league in spending. However, all those top draft picks will cost quite a bit of change.

Of course, we’ll be on top of it for you as it relates to the Bucs.

    Oh, thanks!

    Joe here,

Jason – Not sure what you’re seeing, but the rules of the pool are 2 points for a win and -1 point for a loss. It goes by points. If you miss weeks, it hurts you, which keeps it fair for everyone.
