Falcons 20, Bucs 10: 2009 Season Over

January 3rd, 2010

Falcons 20, Bucs 10

* Bucs looking strong on this offensive series with great catches.

* Watch your feet Josh. Jeff Faine stepped on Freeman.

* TERRIBLE no call by the zebras. Winslow was grossly interfered with.

* All right, touchdown Tampa Bay Gene Deckerhoff screams on the Bucs radio network.

* Come on Bucs. Gotta get your rush defense together.

* Sabby the Goat, Joe is very happy with your interception but you are still a goat and a garbage NFL safety.

* Freeman had Winslow wide open in the flat and instead tries to force a pass into triple coverage. Terrible, terrible, terrible decision. Take what the defense gives you son.

* Sabby the Goat just had what may have been the worst mistackle Joe has ever seen. Just horrid. The ultimate ole tackle.

* Nice run stop there. Defense needs to be huge on third down.

* When you go for an interception Mr. Talib, you better make damned sure you at least get a hand on the ball.

* Helluva catch by Caddy for the first down along the right sideline.

* Helluva catch and throw by Freeman and Winslow.Dave Moore on the Bucs radio network claims there were three receivers open on that play.

* John Gilmore with a catch? That’s digging deep in the playbook.

* This is not good. Donald Penn clutching his left knee. Oh, spit.

* So Sean Murphy, logging his first plays for the Bucs to replace Donald Penn, is the nephew of Braves outfielder Dale Murphy. Joe hopes he can block better than his uncle.

* My God, a quarterback sneak! That’s the second time this game. Has Greg Olson been kidnapped?

* That interception is a killer. Now the Bucs are really in a hole. Joe won’t call that a terrible throw but it was better coverage by the Dixie Chicks than it was a bad throw. Sometimes you have to tip your cap to the other guy.

* Even Gene Deckerhoff is ripping Sabby the Goat for his mistackles. A lifesize blowup doll of Rachel Watson is more useful than this goat.

* Barrett Rudd got absolutely lit up on that long run by the Falcons. Disgusting.

* Well, that field goal by the Falcons pretty much seals the deal.

* How long before we hear the fate of Raheem the Dream? Remember Bryan and Joel waited nearly three weeks to ax Chucky.

Starting to sour on Freeman here…

Any ticket momentum the Glazers had from Freeman is going, going… if the tickets are the issue, then Raheem HAS to go.

  2. jlynch1340 Says:

I’m for a public tar and feathering for Morris

  3. Fredrick Says:

I would just like to point out again that the hated Ray Perkins, serving under the infamously frugal and inept Culverhouse regime, never won less than 4 games in a season.

    Nice work “Coach” Morris!

  4. jason Says:

Ax him now before this bumblin joff does his press confrence!

  5. zech Says:

If morris come back next year we won’t be improved at all cuz they don’t know how to coach . I guess the glazers don’t care about us fans if they keep morris! FIRE RAHEEM!!

  6. Mr. Lucky Says:

They don’t call it Black Monday for nothing!

    No pun intended here 😉

  7. Pruritis Ani Says:

Could not find a bright side today. Morris/Dominick didn’t make their case.

  8. Fredrick Says:

And get ready for “black-out” Sundays.

  9. nick Says:

    thank GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Trox Says:

I just have a feeling Cowher will be the Bucs coach by Wednesday. With the 4th pick overall, 10 total picks overall, a promising young QB, nice weather, it is really not a bad spot to land form him.

  11. Fredrick Says:

Buccaneer Radio Network: T.J. and the clueless burn-out Ledger trying to polish this turd of season.

    Weak.

  12. Mr. Lucky Says:

Where are all the Morris supporters?

Someone please tell me WHY Raheem DESERVES another year?

I know they’re out getting a pedicure right?

  13. RastaMon Says:

    bye…..all paid by Glazers

  14. zech Says:

FIRE RAHEEM AND SAVE OUR PICKS AND OUR FREE AGENTS TO A COACH WHO HAS DIRECTION AND DISIPLINE AND ACCOUNTABILITY!!!

  15. bucfanlostiniowa Says:

Hey everybody remember when they waited to start Freeman ’cause they didn’t want to “ruin”him. WELL IF THEY CONTINUE ON NEXT YEAR WITH THIS STAFF HE WILL BE RUINED!!!!!!!!!

  16. Justin Says:

Yeah, I agree. Freeman looks like he is getting worse, not better.

  17. Tristan Says:

    Wow, guys. Overreact much?

  18. bucfanlostiniowa Says:

Tristan enlighten us, just tell us all how we are overeacting?

  19. Mr. Lucky Says:

    Hehehehehe

What happened to all the Raheem love the past 2 weeks?

It seemed like all of Tampa was singing was,

    “All we are saying is
    is give Raheem a chance.”

Now in an ugly Buc Ball loss the fangs come out.

Come on everyone repeat after me,

    Cow-her….Cow-her…Cow-here!

  20. Tristan Says:

Well, Morris was getting a lot of praise and some people were reconsidering whether he’d be a good coach for us. Now we lose a game and it’s like the past two weeks never happened.

  21. Sgt Mike Says:

My overreaction at the hiring of “Radio” after the dismissal of Gruden with a winning season under his belt has been justified by the end product. Put shit in, get shit out! I was all for a new direction for the team as long as it was in a better direction not the seller for years to come. Just wait and see how “Radio” and his “Band of Idiots” Botch this draft up if they are retained. Let see if we can draft some more Potential. Potentially leaving us with nothing.

  22. Sgt Mike Says:

I was not one of those people who ever praised “Radio” for anything at anytime. Joe can check back since “Radio” was hired and see that Sgt Mike was never a fan of him or his staff. EVER!

  23. Tristan Says:

I’m not in the tank for Raheem. I’m just saying that he was put in a pretty impossible situation from the start. He went from being a position coach under Gruden to being the DC under a head coach to be named later; then, within weeks, the front office couldn’t land a head coach with experience and he got promoted again to head coach. By that time all of the quality coordinators were off the board and he had to make do with what he could find: Jagodzinski and Bates.

Yeah, I think he was promoted too fast. On Day One he was in pretty deep over his head. His third-rate coordinators wasted no time showing us why they were still available so late in the offseason. But he has learned pretty fast, which is a good thing considering how much he had (and still has) to learn. I just think that Morris has earned himself a chance to go into the offseason with his own plan and as much time and opportunity as the other teams have to implement it.

Nothing against Cowher. I practically idolize Cowher, actually. I just don’t want to completely shift gears two years in a row. Cowher’s a phenomenal coach, but he’s not a magic pill.

  24. Sgt Mike Says:

Giving “Radio” his shot now is futile. Any OC or DC that comes to work under him is A: a scrub that noone wants like Olson or B: Looking to take “Radio’s” Job. Either way it stinks. If anyone screwed “Radio” it was the Glazer idiots. IF you want to keep “Radio”, go after Schottenheimer and make “Radio” the DC and possible heir apparent.

  25. jlynch1340 Says:

You guys grilled me for comparing him to special needs kids, I was just a little ahead of the curve… LOL
