“The Swarm Of The Defense”

August 15th, 2009

Raheem The Dream was fired up at halftime speaking to T. J. Rives of the Buccaneers Radio Network.

The Dream was careful not to single out the production of any specific player (c’mon Dream, you could have given it up for Stylez G. White) but chose to praise the effort put out by his team.

“I liked the swarm of the defense. They were hitting people,” he said. “The swarm of the defense was impressive.”

No argument from Joe. The Bucs were bringing hats and played with intensity in the first half and it continued into the second half. Yes, the first-team pass rush was anemic, but there were a lot of good things happening.

The swarm could not go un-noticed, they did an excellent job of stopping plays that were slow to develope!

Give the other team some credit, they also wanted to win afterall, and they did make some spectacular plays, but they were few and far between!

New coaching staff both offensively and defensively…lots of young players.

We lost the game, but I give their performance overall high marks.
