Most Impressive Player In Camp?

August 8th, 2009

Even though Joe spent last night with bottles of Caybrew along with the Caybrew girls at the Angry Pepper in Madeira Beach, he’s up bright and early today. Trust Joe, photos to come of the Caybrew girls.

Before Joe heads out to Bucs training camp, he thought he’d toss up another post.

The TBO.com twins of Dan Lucas, WFLA-TV, and Woody Cummings of the Tampa Tribune have rolled out their daily video report on the goings-on at training camp.

Cummings talks about how the defense has transitioned from a Tampa-2 to Jim Bates’ style of blitzes and coverages. Cummings makes the bold statement that linebacker Quincy Black may be the best player so far in workouts.

“I’m not sure another player has been as impressive as Quincy Black has,” Cummings said. “He’s making plays all day long. He’s a guy to watch, No. 58 in red if you are coming out to camp.”

And Joe is. He’s getting in his truck now.
