A Time To Stay Safe

July 9th, 2009

No doubt Luke McCown and family have counted their blessings this past week remembering how nobody was seriously injured when McCown took a chain saw to his quarterback brother Josh’s hand about one year ago.

Heck, Joe thinks about it every once in a while. It must have been a life-changing moment for those woodcutting, country McCown boys.

As the Bucs preparte to begin training camp with five dogs quarterbacks allegedly fighting for one bone the starting job, so said Raheem The Dream, Joe hopes they all stay away from chain saws, motorcycles, unstable women and the Browns’ locker room during their July time off.

Although if Son of Bob were somehow removed from the Bucs roster by the sharp knife of Mark Dominik, Joe would be incredibly relieved.

You do realise that “Raheem the Dream” fails as a nickname on just about every conceivable level right? Its not even fun to say.

    Joe here,

Wordy, how so? First, “Raheem The Dream” is a play on the popular “Akeem The Dream” nickname of Hakeem Olajawon, of NBA and college basketball fame. …Also, Raheem Morris had a true dream rise to head coach of a proud franchise from the ranks of defensive backs coach.

    He is Raheem The Dream.

JoeBucsFan.com first used the nickname on Jan. 22. https://www.joebucsfan.com/?p=5696

    We think we coined it.

Sorry I really chose my words poorly on that one.

I meant to say that it sucks on just about every conceivable level. But I can see where it probably makes more sense if you follow the NBA. Or you know, wear a skirt, but I repeat myself 🙂
