“Is This An Interview Or An Interrogation?”

August 15th, 2013

The quick dry wit of Adrian Clayborn is on display in this NESN video, as Clayborn deals with the New England media getting in his face like gnats on a hot summer night. Joe loves it when players reveal some of their personality.

  1. Joe Strummer Says:

NE, don’t blame our DE if your left tackle sucks.

  2. Justin Says:

When is the NFL going to the change the rules and not allow DL to push down OL in practices? I bet that chopper was Krafts ride to NYC to talk to Roger about protecting Brady.

  3. Macabee Says:

The reincarnation of Edward Teach himself, the most feared pirate (Buccaneer) of them all!!

  4. BKNYfootballhead Says:

Hilarious how he looks off the reporter for resting their recorder and hand on his shoulder.

  5. Architek Says:

    Classic and classful interview!

  6. ShutTheBucUp Says:

I wish he would have bull rushed the reporters. They were a little ridiculous trying to get the “scoop” on how evil A.C. managed to down their precious Brady. Maybe as reporters, they should have been watching the practice?

Clayborn is going to have a huge season if he stays healthy. Unlike Mr. Bowers we don’t have to worry about playing every down, he’s definitely got the motor.

  8. Rick Ramos Says:

Kudos to Adrian Clayborn for putting the “pen and mike club” in its place.

Too often, fans, pundits, and members of the “sports media” forget this isn’t fantasy football, Madden, or the sport spelled “futbol.” Green or red jerseys aside, in the American Gridiron version of football, you’ve got 22 very large, very fast, and very athletic bodies flying around at full speed in what is essentially a confined space. Under those circumstances, shit is going to happen – it’s time we all remembered that or realized it in case you’ve personally have never strapped on a hat, buttoned a chin strap and gotten after it.

Keep up the good work, AC. And, I’m glad Tom Brady’s MRI was clear and he’s returning to practice today.

Is the team going to have an Ugliest Beard contest this year? Looks like Mike Williams has some competition.

  10. Dreambig Says:

Macabre, that comment was awesome. Maybe AC needs a nickname and Blackbeard could not be a more fitting representation for a buc! Or better yet, can we replace that damn puppet Captain Fear with a real Blackbeard looking pirate!
