    Joe,

Can you give us an update on Price? Did not expect to see him in a helmet? Benn? Grimm?

  2. Brad Says:

Man pics get me fired up!!! Go Bucs!!

  3. Joe Says:

    Nick P:

Didn’t get to see Benn (that’s not to say Benn wasn’t there, just that Joe did not see him), Grimm practiced and Joe will have a Brian Price feature later. The photos too way longer to edit on my laptop (bad software) then Joe expected… twice as long in fact.

  4. Nick P. Says:

    Excellent. Thank you, sir.

  5. Nick P. Says:

If you blow up the steve duemig pic, I can see a “17” standing out in the field with helmet.

  6. Jrock Says:

Nick, Benn is in the shot with Steve Duemig (sp).

-Are our cheerleaders fantasy material or what? Daaamnnn

-P.S. The RB drill has the elastic attached to the ball! I’m not even saying it as a correction, that’s a ingenious idea.

  7. Jrock Says:

P.S.S. Joe, you freakin’ rock! Thanks for the pictures!

  8. Kevin Says:

    @Nick –

First off – I’m just some fan in the stands – these are my impressions and not any sort of professional opinion. You’ve been warned.

Benn looked very good. Did not appear tentative at all. Was making crisp turns complete with planting and cutting.

Price still appeared to have a very quick first move when lined up for 11v11 scrimmage. However, he was running through some of the DLine drills much slower than some of his counter parts. Spent a good deal of time on one knee after drills. All in all – much better than expected.

Bowers looked LIGHTNING fast in some of the DLine drills. Appeared completely at 100%. I’m super excited about this guy.

Luke Stocker looks like the real deal. Dude is huge and made some very nice catches. Some cat in the stands kept calling him “cool hand luke” which Luke kindly acknowledged.

Other standout – Ed Gant. Dude looks like a Benn/Williams clone. Fast with excellent hands – didn’t see him drop a pass. Apparently Dom picked him off of Seattle’s practice squad. Will pay attention to him tomorrow.

    That’s my $0.02 from today.

  9. Mauha Deeb Says:

That one with Madu looks awesome. Perfect timing with the camera.

I hope the one that Blount couldn’t catch up to isn’t a normal sight. Still, not bad for day one.

Kicking booty, Joe. Thanks for the picks. I look forward to dozens more!

  10. Nick P. Says:

    Great breakdown, Kevin. Thanks!

  11. Mauha Deeb Says:

@NickP Where did you see Benn? I saw #11 Josh Johnson in that Duemig photo, but no Benn.

  12. Mauha Deeb Says:

@NickP Nevermind. All the way on the right. Awesome!

  13. Nick P. Says:

Far right group. 3rd receiver from the right.

  14. Kevin Says:

Benn is on the far right standing next to Mike Williams of the “Duemig photo”

  15. Joe Says:

    Mauha Deeb:

Double-click on the picture with Steve Duemig in it. When it appears click on it again and the photo blows up about five times the size and you will see Benn to the right, clear as day.

  16. Bucnjim Says:

    Kevin,

That was a nice little breakdown; Thanks for taking the time to post it. As well as thanks to Joe for the hard work getting these pictures. It was hot as hell out the even for a short time. Now that’s a dedicated fan!

  17. Bucbeliever Says:

Man, Dom’s already pickin’ up guys off other’s Practice Squads…let’s the competition begin!!!

  18. Brandon Says:

I read on one site that Brian Price weighed 350 lbs… He didn’t look gigantic in that pic, did anybody notice him being humongous?

  19. Kevin Says:

Price certainly needs to work on his conditioning, but I don’t think he’s as big as some people say.

  20. Mauha Deeb Says:

@Brandon I think someone was just blowing smoke. He looks a bit big, but nowhere near 50 lbs too big.

  21. Max Says:

Great coverage JoeBucsFan, excited for the season and will be checking the site everyday.

  22. RLM Says:

Thanks for the pictures, JBF. Great coverage as usual.

  23. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Oh no, I don’t see Barrett Ruud anywhere. It’s amazing that our defense can even line up without the QB of our defense and the greatest MLB in the league. We are doomed without that physical beast of a LB scaring people with his high football IQ! (sorry, it’s been too long since we had a Barrett Ruud article and I was having withdrawals).

But seriously, great stuff Joe! Thanks for bearing with the elements to bring us the best Bucs coverage. All you need now is a live video feed. If you did that, I can guarantee you that myself and probably 90% of your readers would no longer have steady employment.

  24. hfxbuc Says:

A perfect Saturday morning read. Thanks Joe. Thanks to Nick for his input too.

  25. woo Says:

Who’s the guy in the last pic with the 0 inch vert? Elevate yourself young man! Great pics, joe.

  26. Theodore Says:

Josh Freeman passing too long, too high. This is a disaster! Time to sign Favre.

  27. woo Says:

Think I answered my own question – looks like Armando Allen is #13. He had a 31 inch vert at his pro day apparently, but he’s also only 5’8″. Stocker catches that flat footed… dude is huuuge. 🙂

  28. Paul Says:

Awesome! Thx for this. Any Bowers sighting?

  29. Matt B Says:

Awesome pics! You have photography skills, Joe.
