Do a confidence poll in Jameis too

  2. The Buc Realist Says:

Totally Confident in head Coach Koetter!!!!!!!!

The riddle, injured roster, not so much!!!!!!

Head Coach Koetter and Coach Smitty are some of the best X’s and O’s coaches that the Bucs will find!!!!! They have shown flashes on this team even though that talent has been lacking. They have the ablity to hide the holes on the roster at times!!!

The big question right now, is that the roster is very injured in the wrong places and in a tailspin, Can they fix that!!!!! Not many coaches can!!!!! And do they have the tools to fix it????? I think one way is if the Owners came out and let the players know that these coaches will be here the next two years!!!!! So play for your job because the coaches will be here but you might not next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    GO Bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. PRBucFan Says:

I’ve been ahead of the curve. Ive voted little confidence the past three polls and now I’ve officially moved it to no confidence. The numbers eventually follow vote wise from the rest eventually. Give it a few more embarrassing losses. I mean I feel for the man cause who would of thought Winston apart from the injury would have such awful season. And don’t talk to me about the numbers because even prior to the injury his throws have just been off a majority of the year. So any who, given the QBs woes as the engine of the offense and the defense falling apart for most of the year it’s sad but Koetter has lost this team and thus my confidence in him has dissipated.

  4. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Totally Confident.

Remember when the Panthers went to the superbowl? They’d had a bad year shortly before that, especially Cam Newton.

Remember a couple years ago, the Falcon, especially Matt Ryan, had a ad year? Thentney went to the superbowl last year.

Did either team change coaches because of those bad years? No. Because stability is everything. And it paid off.

People always think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. But its not.

Koetter and Smith are the right men for the job. The owners and fans just need to be loyal. Loyalty and fandom is never a test when things are going great.

  5. Clodhopper Says:

I moved it down a notch to No Confidence. He lost the locker room. Too many of these guys have no self disciplined or personal responsibility. Too many guys show no effort. 1 complete game out of 8. And don’t forget some of his bone head in-game decisions.

I think this whole season boils down to player attitude and motivation. Not playcalling or talent. It’s all in their attitude.

There’s not enough, but we do still have some guys that care though, and put in the time and effort and play really hard…. For now.

  6. Evolvingbucfan Says:

Dear Buccaneers, you may have given up on your coaches and your teammates but please, i beg, don’t give up on your fans, because if that happens most will give up on you.

signed every fan barely holding on to supporting this team.

  7. The Buc Realist Says:

    @Buc Bonzai

Are you saying that our young team, can be greener??? That if it is tended to, nurtured can grow!!!!!!! That with a little work, and some weeds pulled that in time will be the greenest lawn in the NFC South!!!!!!!!

I think the sheep are so lazy, and angry that they do not even want to watch someone else put in the work that needs to be done, to create the team we all want!!!!!!!!!!

    Go Bucs!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. JonGruden Says:

Koetter is a straight shooter. I’ll give him credit for that. But if you really listen to the stuff he says to Jameis and the postgame conferences, then it’s pretty clear that he’s not a good coach. He doesn’t have an actual plan to make his offense better. Bring back Gruden. It’s time.

  9. PRBucFan Says:

When things are going great then “obviously” there is no reason to say anything bad lol.

But when things are up in flames your not going to sit there and act like things are dandy just cause that’s “loyalty” and what a “true fan” does. Negative, that is called stupidity.

I’ll praise them when they deserve it, and I’ll call them out when they deserve it.

But on the other hand, let me not hear a single one of you teat suckers ever say one negative thing about anything or anyone on the team otherwise I’ll know your not a “true fan”. That’s how it works with y’all right guys? lol smh

  10. HowToSpellRhonde Says:

Losing head coach Dirk Koetter carries a flaccid stick and his job is dangling by a thread. Yet, he’s still so refreshing.

  11. The Buc Realist Says:

    @PrBucfan

Call them out, when you feel they need to be called out!!!!! But when the sheep are angry and want heads to roll because they over valued the roster!!!!! Then that is what they will get called our for!!!!!!! We don’t want to see the team make moves that will damaged this team years down the road because they were angry over how wrong they were!!!!!!!!!

P.S. If you are not “sucking teat” then we don’t know what you are sucking on!!!!!!!!

    GO Bucs!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. AlteredEgo Says:

Zero confidence in the kneeling cartoon character “led” roster….talent is there…for more than 2 wins

  13. denjoe Says:

Joe, This is BS where is the GM Poll?

  14. Greg Says:

How about a Jason Light poll? He has no eye for talent. I felt like vomiting every time he talked about how much he loves his lines. Marpet is the only lineman with any physical talent. Our tackles and guards suck and our backups wouldn’t be able to make any other team. McCoy is our only proven D-Lineman and he hasn’t had a good pass rusher at tackle or end since he came here…. what happened? Sapp, McFarland, Marcus Jones, Simeon Rice were all 1st rounders. Its not rocket science Light needs to totally change his priorities when building a team. Jackson is a good receiver but Light should have known Winston is not good at hitting people in stride so what’s the point of bringing him here?

  15. USFBUC Says:

I voted little confidence because we don’t seem to be adjusting or fighting to win. I am not sure that getting rid of the coaches is the answer though. I think one of the biggest issues facing the Bucs is a lack of consistency in coaching and management.

  16. USFBUC Says:

We need to make some big moves this offseason on the roster. We need to go after the best Oline and Dline players we can in FA cut dead weight after those acquisitions. We also need to go all in if the talent is there in this draft. We didn’t do it last year in one of the most talent laden drafts in years. We need to do something quick to right the ship and take advantage of the core of young players that I still think can be very good.

  17. darin Says:

Anyone who thinks the problems are not coaching is quite off. Watch the rest of these games and youll change your minds. I mean i do expect mike smith to start being more aggressive, which will lead to a better defense. But the fact its gona happen late in the season after his defense hasnt worked doesnt mean he is coaching better. Right now he is insane, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. N dirk, he is clueless. A head coach he is not. Do we want a coaching staff every year who gets their asses handed to them in the first half of the year. Only to turn around and finally make adjustments way too late, after the seasons lost. No thanks. I want a prepared team from week 1 on.

  18. D-Rome Says:

Anyone who is totally confident is trolling. The coaching staff has lost the team on both sides of the ball. I really don’t want Dirk Koetter fired but if this team doesn’t show any life the rest of the way there would be no good reason to not fire him.

If he can’t get it turned around this season, what makes anyone think he’ll figure it out next season.

  19. Dr. Lob Says:

    Do a poll on Winston

  20. 813bucboi Says:

LOL….absolutely NO confidence in dirk or smitty….

the team has regressed and the locker room is lost….dirk will be canned on BLACK MONDAY!!!!….GOOD RIDDANCE!!!…and please take your fan club with you!!!….GO BUCS!!!!

“Anyone who is totally confident is trolling. The coaching staff has lost the team on both sides of the ball.”

    That’s bullsp!t.

First, anyone Totally Confident is thinking long term instead of short term like most of you are doing. And don’t try to deny it. If you were thinking long term, then the results of one week would not change your opinion. Heck, the results of 4 games should not change it.

The proof on that is Lavante David. Most of this year, people have been saying he isn’t playing that good and that Beckwith should replace him. Heck, I even said that. And then David has ONE great game and suddenly he’s the ‘best player on our team’.

    Short term thinking.

Second, the coaching staff has not lost the team. They are still out there plugging away. They are not being lazy like everyone claims (except Baker). They just are not being successful right now.

It would be fair to say the coaching staff is losing the fans…because most of the fans never consider long term success, they always want everything right away. Just like they wanted to cut Mike Evans after his second year.

The solution here is simple. Keep Koetter. Keep Smith. Keep Licht. Keep solidarity.

Cut the obvious bad influences…like Baker.

Sign a better running back in the off season. Find a good fullback. Replace our right tackle on the oline. Draft to improve the defensive line and the secondary.

  22. DislocatedBucsFan Says:

    Confident

    Jameis and GM poll

  23. Mike Johnson Says:

NO CONFIDENCE. None whatsoever. I’m more confident in my German Shepard…Buddy than Koetter and his staff. At least I know my dogs gonna bark and protect my house!!

  24. 813bucboi Says:

    @BONZAI

    ok that’s total bs…..

RR’s first year in CAR was 2011…they went 6-10…next year went 7-9…
    2013-12-4 to the playoffs
    2014-7-8-1 to the playoffs
    2015-15-1 SB appearance
    2016-6-10-CAM had 2 bum shoulders

why would they fire a coach that has gotten them to the playoffs 3 out of 6 years with a SB appearance….

at least RR improved in his second year…dirk has regressed…BIG TIME!!!…he has lost the team in his second year…..C’MON MAN!!!

    now ATL…..

2015 was DQ’s first year…new HC, OC,DC….team needs time to adjust….they finished 8-8….last year they went 11-5 with an SB appearance…

again, DQ improved in his second year….dirk has regressed…..

and guess what, they over came injuries as well…just like every team in the NFL….

you and @realist should be the last people to talk about greener grass…LOL….you 2 thought the grass way so much greener once dirk was hired….turns out its a freakin desert!!!….

smitty and dirk are not the right coaches for the job and its being shown on the field…players have regressed…they are frustrated….and the staff has lost control….

the “REAL” bucs fans are loyal to the BUCS….not a coach!!!….your loyalty is to dirk not the bucs….GTFOH!!!!!and take @realist..@LC..DIRK AND SMITTY with you….GO BUCS!!!!

    ^^BINGO^^

the ones that are totally confident are those that wanted lovie fired and praised dirk before he ever won a game….now that things are WORSE, they’re trying to save face….they want to give dirk all the time in the world….AINT HAPPENING!!!!….his time is up….BYE DIRK!!!…and take @realist..@LC…@BONZAI WITH YOU…..GOOD RIDDANCE!!!….GO BUCS!!!

PLEASE STOP!!!!…DO YOU KNOW HOW DUMB YOU SOUND….

long tern thinking is do I want to be stuck with this incompetent coaching staff after what we have witnessed all season….we’ve gotten blown out multiple times this year….defense has regressed and offense has regressed….

you want to talk about week1…OK…we beat a bears team that was lead by mike glennon….C’MON MAN!!!…then we got blown out vs the vikes…barely beat a giants team that has 1 less win then us and couldn’t beat a PATS team that tried to give us the game…..

what evidence do you have that suggest the staff has control of the locker room….@joe wrote on sunday night that the locker room is worse than he thought….players quitting…undisciplined….C’MON MAN!!!!

I know you and other cheered hard for dirk, but its time to give it a rest….dirk is as good as gone….sorry to break it to you….GO BUCS!!!!

  27. Mike Johnson Says:

I’ll tell you guys one Deehyam thing for certain..If you bring Gruden in, he will not be bashful about going out to get veteran leadership for this team. If you don’t perform, you don’t play. Dirk says, My 53 is what I got. Ok..then keep on losing.
When are you Buc fans gonna wake up and smell the coffee. Dirk Koetter is not and never was NFL HC material. OC on a team would have been just fine for him. But he cannot cut the mustard as a HC. And his road dod BC smitty? His NFL days are long past him. Why you think he sits upstairs in that booth during games?
Somewheres outtheres an Atlanta Falcons owner named Arthur Blanks is Laughing his A.. Off sayin, Now you Bucs are seeing what I saw when I let Koetter and Smitty walk!

  28. StPeteBucsFan Says:

    Bird

Do a confidence poll in Jameis too

I’m OK with that. Can we add another. Confidence in the Buc’s fan base?

Things were going well…we hit our first serious bumps in the road…and so let’s all freak.

    AGAIN…Doug Williams…Steve Young…Vinnie Testerverde…Trent Dilfer and now….Jameis Winston?

I’ve just seen this story before. First off stop with all the #3 inaccuracy…his numbers have improved every year and he’s not that horrid statistically right now. And for those of you who say…but my eyes…my eyes…how many times have your eyes watched Mike Evans drop CRITICAL passes this year. Are you ready to run him?

Typical Buc mentality…let’s makes sure we mess up the next five years in response to this bad season.

  29. 813bucboi Says:

the rams stuck with fisher for 6years because they thought it would be good to keep “consistency”….how’d that turn out?….they canned him and looky looky the rams are 6-2….GO BUCS!!!

  30. mike10 Says:

I’m just not ready to fire ANOTHER coach after 2 years.

There is a losing mentality and I think it takes more than a coach to fix that…. how many more coaches will it take to realize that? We need leaders in that locker room… leading by voice and example.

Also, I agree scheme has been a big problem this year, but I believe it’s been exacerbated by Jameis’ inaccuracy and poor decision making.
