Joe Talks Offensive Line, Astute Drafting & Frozen, Overcast Indianapolis Vs. Warm, Sunny Phoenix

March 26th, 2015

Joe apologizes for the delay in posting this audio. It is Joe’s weekly in-studio chat with his good friend, “The Big Dog,” Steve Duemig of WDAE-AM 620. Also known as the “JoeBucsFan.com Hour.”

In this edition, Joe and “The Big Dog” chew the fat about the offensive line, playing rookies, how the draft may shake out, and what event is better to cover: the NFL Scouting Combine in frozen Indianapolis or the NFL Owners Meetings at a posh resort in sunny, warm Phoenix.

Enjoy!

    Not nice. –Joe

    I second that opinion but I love listening to Joe on the show.
    I hate Dueming calling Glennon Opie since Duemig is no Phil Nickelson himself.
    So stupid, it’s like you have to have dashing good looks to qualify as a good QB. Idiot.

    bTW, Joe, I love all of the stories we are getting from the meeting. Great coverage.

    Joe – your boy went off the deep end again yesterday. He sounded reasonable regarding Winston while in the studio with Joe (singular) – but the very next day he was just out of control and could not keep himself from yelling at and about anyone who was trying to call him out on his ridiculous positions about Winston and about the “2nd accuser”. Dude – there IS NO 2nd “accuser”. The woman in question said from the very beginning that her sexual encounter with Jameis was consensual. Trying to tie that situation into the obviously lying Erica Kinsman and say she will 100% for sure join Erica in a civil suit (which is very unlikely to ever even happen unless Erica wants to open herself up to perjury charges and a counter-suit) is pretty darn irresponsible if you ask me.

    I rarely listen to BD anymore except when Joe is on the air with him – mainly because he continually berates and belittles anyone who doesn’t agree with his oftentimes ridiculous positions. Just happened to turn him on yesterday while driving and couldn’t believe what I was hearing come out of his mouth. He wouldn’t let anyone dispute what he was saying – or even have a chance to contradict with actual facts – and basically was taking the position of – “you can’t tell me anything about Winston or the cases in question. I have read it all and know it all and all of you defending Winston are idiots.”

    BD showed his true colors yet again yesterday and its a real shame this guy is allowed to freely spout his overbearing and oftentimes smug (“I’m an insider – I know stuff and people you don’t know”) opinions when no one else is allowed to disagree with him on air without getting yelled at and belittled for simply disagreeing and trying to point out why.

    Hopefully SD will change his mind about Winston – because at this point – its pretty obvious he doesn’t like or want Jameis as our new QB even though he is by far the best choice for the Bucs.

    It sucks that the so called “dean of Tampa Bay sports radio” doesn’t even like or want our new QB – and especially if he never changes his opinion and slams/talks bad about Winston for the next 10-15 years – ala his over the top negative treatment of MG8. I’m not MGM by any stretch of the imagination – but SD’s opinions and statements about “Opie” are just ridiculous.

    I’ve been checking in on this site like I check my e-mails looking for these “Joebucsfanhour” articles.

    @Pickgrin,

    Couldn’t have said it better myself. I just said it in a lot less words and got my comment stricken. I also have chosen to not listen to him spew his rhetoric unless the “Joe’s” are on. Even then, to hear him belittle their opinion just shows his smugness.

    The Winston content has me checking this site about 20 times a day. Keep it coming Joe. Soak it in Bucs fans.
