Bucs Inactives For Today

September 16th, 2012

Greg Schiano has used his red pen, and the following Bucs will not have a helmet on today.

Cornerbacks Anthony Gaitor and E.J. Biggers, both still nursing injuries, RB Michael Smith, which lets you know LeGarrette Blount is healthy and ready, guard Derek Hardman and DE George Johnson.

That means Arrelious Benn and Myron Lewis will make their 2012 debuts.

LeGarrette Blount being active is key. His hard hitting running style could make a difference. Muscle Hamster will hopefully have a great game, but I suspect the Giants will be geared to stop him.

Smith is inactive? Who is handling kickoffs then? Please not Parker!
Surprised both Gaitor and Biggers are inactive after practicing all week.

Pro football talk has trueblood on their too 🙁

  4. FLBoyInDallas Says:

Expected Smith to be inactive after his performance last week. He looked slow and lacking creativity on his returns against Carolina. Not sure what the issue is, but I’m not surprised they want to give someone else a look to see what they have in the return game.

Whats the deal with Trueblood? If he doesnt go, who will start for him?

  6. The Dutcher Journal (Pete Dutcher) Says:

Trueblood is expected…the Bucs have someone better there for this game. What it tells me is Schiano wants to be able to pass, seeing that Trueblood is better for the run.

Question…did Arrelious Benn heal up unusually fast this time around?
