Aaron Rodgers Hates (Playing In) Tampa II
October 17th, 2026
Drama queen Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers.
Joe has already typed about how drama queen Aaron Rodgers has found his NFL kryptonite. And it can be found along Dale Mabry Highway.
Rodgers, one of the greatest quarterbacks who ever lived, has always struggled playing in Tampa. The future Hall of Famer is 2-3 playing on the turf of The Licht House.
Only once has Rodgers, leading the Packers, guided an offense to more than 21 points in Tampa. And that was in a 38-28 loss to Josh Freeman, making his first start in 2009 on Lee Roy Selmon Day.
Over at BSPN, their research team crunched numbers and found that, yes, Rodgers may have the most bad luck of his career playing the Bucs.
Stat to know: Rodgers has 10 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in six career games against Tampa Bay. That’s one of two NFL teams (the Bills are the other) that he does not have more passing touchdowns than interceptions against over his career.
And those stats are all games against the Bucs, not just in Tampa but in Green Bay, too.
(Yes, Joe knows Rodgers plays for the Steelers these days. Tomorrow will be his first trip to Tampa as a Steelers quarterback, and his last as Rodgers has openly admitted this is very likely his last season.)
Then, the drama queen has another issue with playing in Champa Bay. He always whines about the turf at The Licht House. He had a foot injury playing the Bucs in 2015 and he blamed that on the turf. In fact, he’s the only guy Joe knows of who is outspoken how the turf is somehow substandard.
It’s in his head, man.
This is why the Joe typing here has money on the Bucs. 🙂

Joe is about to lose money on Sunday. Bowels doesn’t believe in sacks.
Rodgers shines when he isn’t sacked. The leading Tampa rusher has two sacks in five games.
I thought Joe didn’t like better against never????
Bowles will never be a HC again after 2026 is over.

He’s outspoken. Genuine. Doesn’t care what people think about him. Like kyrie Irving, he got skewered for his ( correct) stance on mandated the shot. Didn’t run with the mindless herd. I hope he loses Sunday, but I think the “ drama queen” label is a bit undeserved.

He’s a clown who happens to be good at football. His own family doesn’t talk to him.

Off topic, but another sad exclamation point on how far the standards have fallen here in Tampa. Titans & Saints ownership taking the time to publicly address fan dismay is also just example of how far out of touch Glazers are at the moment. And with the fact they evidently requiring a full family vote in order to even make a friggin’ decision, it’s not hard to see why the standards have sunk so low that mediocrity is an acceptable result at this stage.

Probably past time to see some articles putting a spotlight on ownership’s LARGE share of responsibility in the current situation.

You can complain about ownership all you want , but they are not going away. However all others can be jettisoned and should be including Lichtbrain.
