Zac Robinson Says Bucs Raised Energy Level

October 15th, 2026

It seems the Bucs needed to lose their first four games to find winning energy.

Please don’t ask Joe why. Whatever taste was in the Bucs’ collective mouths after last season wasn’t sour enough, Joe guesses.

Game 5, of course, was last week in Dallas. Today, Bucs offensive coordinator Zac Robinson addressed local media for the first time. He enthusiastically talked about the offensive hitting a new gear.”

“There was a different level of energy and edge and physicality that was displayed on Thursday,” Robinson said. “I thought it showed through the week of practice. Obviously, we didn’t have many practice opportunities but you could tell just the intentionalilty behind walk-throughs and everything. And there were some great displays of leadership from some of the guys we need to lead.”

Joe loves the concept of “intentionality” through walk-throughs. LOL

Hopefully, a new standard has been set for what game-preparation and energy should look like. Robinson, in his first Bucs year, now has something to point to.

Give me a break, Bucky had a good game against a defense that is struggling. What does Zac do when a defense shuts down the run? He doubles down on the run and loses. Nothing has changed. The guy is an idiot.

This guy’s offensive scheme is offensive.

Cashing in all those big paychecks can be very exhausting.

Apparently the Bucs are not the rah rah type players. Maybe they’ll respond better if a blow torch is light up there @$$’s.

Hope Zack raises game plan preparation with intentionalilty. Doing same exact thing (again) this week won’t work as well. Steelers will have plenty of tape now.

    You can do it!

As fans we’ve talked about the energy level since what? Mid season last year. The energy level should have been off the charts week 2 after the Bengals loss not week 5.

  11. gp Says:

What exactly would you strain if you put TOO much intentionality into your walkthroughs?
The answer probably wouldn’t make it past the mods.

Hard to get excited as a player when you don’t believe in your HC.

They have the personality of Bowles. Don’t worry, be happy. Coach better, play better. We’ll be fine. Last time this offense showed life Liam Coen was the OC.

  14. Tucker Says:

What they did was go against a defense that is almost non existent yeah they look what not great but they won against a terrible defense Yay participation trophy’s all around please.

  15. McBay Says:

Walk throughs are the key. Fewer injuries and saves players energy for the games. But, last seasons walk throughs got too vigorous. Slow them down, more. That’s the ticket.
