[UPDATE]: The reporter who first broke this story has since recanted her previous missive and President Trump will not be in Tampa on Sunday.

There’s a “You’re fired!” joke in here somewhere.

The leader of the free world, United States President Donald Trump, will not be in Tampa on Sunday, types the person who first broke the story that President Trump would be at the Bucs game Sunday. Kristen Holmes of CNN did an about-face this evening on her original reporting.

Aside from the likely traffic and security nightmare that will affect some fans attending, Joe finds this somewhat odd considering the “home” crowd will be at least half Steelers fans. Plus, it’s not quite a marquee matchup.

When Trump attended a Commanders game last season, it was the first time a U.S. President attended a regular season NFL game in many decades.
