Back Sprain For Jacob Parrish
September 14th, 2026
Starting cornerback Jacob Parrish was lost in the first half yesterday with a back injury.
It’s not that bad, Todd Bowles said today.
X-ray and MRI tests were clean, per Bowles, so Parrish simply has a sprain and how he can handle it will determine his availability.
Bowles praised the play of second-year man Benjamin Morrison in Parrish’s absence.

He’ll be alright
Just put him back at Nickel back

BMo was awesome outside. If he’s healthy, let him start and ease Parrish back into the nickel. Scott looked decent in limited snaps. Maybe Scott can blitz, play a little nickel backer. Pretty scared of seeing Anzalone in coverage in the flats. He looked like my fat ass slipping and sliding around out there. That was a brutal debut for the long haired one

He was holding it when he walked off the field. Hurts like heck.

They can move Keionte Scott to a Rover position
An ILB/ SS hybrid on passing downs
Start Voss Dennis and Trotter at ILB
Move Alex Anzalone to the end of the bench
On obvious passing downs, bring in Scott, take out Dennis

Put parish on the tightends that keep lighting up the bucs since last season.

I believe nothing out of the tragic clowns mouth.
If he said the sky was blue I’d have to go confirm.
We are stuck with him at least three more years.
The Glazers have dug their heels in and don’t want to admit failure.
He is the boil on our collective backside.

Players were having issues slipping on that stadium turf yesterday….
Yes, that was not grass they were playing on….
Anzalone slipped multiple times yesterday trying to make an initial cut.
Also on Bucky’s fumble, he planted to cut, then his foot slipped as well and it knocked him off guard to cover the football up…
I saw a Bengals WR slip on a curl route as well….
Stadium fake turf SUCKS!!!
Players will be glad to get back to playing on grass…

The issue with putting Parrish at nickel is that he would only be on the field about 60-70% of the time. His after all, one of the best players on the team.

Back sprain?
Oh – ya!
This is going to suck!

I’m a super biased Notre Dame Grad of 2004 here so while Benjamin Morrison has been grossly disappointing thus far – I will stick to my guns and say it is HE that has the higher upside. It is HE that was an all American as a freshman, he is the one with the pedigree. I like Parrish a ton but my ideal state would be that Morrison reaches his potential and ends up at the outside Corner with Parrish as the nickel or other outside corner. Zyon, for whatever it’s worth – I couldn’t have been more impressed by him. He was aggressive and tackled well. As an aside I do not think Todd’s zone scheme does Morrison any favors, Morrison was PRESS MAN AT NOTRE DAME FOR F SAKE

Gofortheface30 – totally agree! BenMo is gonna shine, if he can stay on the field.
