Bucs Open Additional Training Camp Practice To Unaffiliated Fans

The average Joe can now attend Day 3 of Buccaneers training camp.

This evening, the Bucs announced a fourth training camp date open to the every-man fan, one who doesn’t have season tickets or isn’t part of a dedicated special interest group.

Tickets for the Friday, July 31, practice at One Buc Palace are now on sale via TicketMaster. The cost is $10.62.

Training camp will kick off for fans at 8:30 a.m on Thursday, July 30, following an opening day closed to fans. Tickets for that date are on sale, as well, along with the Aug. 6 and Aug. 7 sessions.

Following practice on Sunday, Aug. 9, the Bucs will head to New Jersey for two practices with/against the Jets. Those are Tuesday, Aug. 11, and Wednesday, Aug. 12, prior to a day off on Aug. 13. The preseason opener in New Jersey is on Friday, Aug. 14.

    Shame on the Glazers, these should be free. There is no reason to charge. Allowing the public to attend these camps would be a nice gesture to the community. I really don’t understand charging for a practice, pretty silly.

    Yeah met papa doing the glad hands in the stands when the team was first bought but it was a move-a-long like the pope or something. The kids, who were with him, did the move along instead of letting him mingle, which appeared he sincerely wanted to do. I get a little of that but common man….charging to watch practice? Go the Masters and offer good inexpensive food for those that show and don’t announce it, that would do wonders for your rep and fan base. These corporations need better PR people than bean counters unless it starts at the top. I remember they smooched a lot of booty for the seat deposits for the stadium build but recently it seems like more a money grab, and I consider this group one of the better ownership groups in the NFL. BUT………..
