  1. Bucnjim Says:

If they were able to remove the quitters, then 10 wins.

  2. Jw94buc Says:

I picked “not sure.” I’ll have a better internal gut calculator that further the offseason carries out. Right now with Mike being kind of sour grapes, and Lavonte retiring. Everything feels to raw atm to make a calculated prediction instead of an emotional one. Once the draft happens. Maybe I’ll have a more precise answer lol

  3. Lakeland Says:

I say 10 wins at least

I don’t see the other teams in the NFC South doing much
And l think we will be a lot better than last season

  4. JustOneGame Says:

2-7 down the stretch with 6 of those games against against clubs that are drafting before us and we’re completely outclassed in the other 3. Looking at the schedule, this team will be lucky to to win 5 games

  5. FlBoy84 Says:

Really curious how many of the voters have actually looked at the schedule lol

  6. Bucfan593 Says:

Same record as last year because we have less talent but we won’t severely underachieve

  7. SteveK Says:

    Barring a bonafide edge rush, 8 win-team.

  8. Bojim Says:

It’s going to be a good season. The offense will be 100 percent. And I think the defense got a few good players. It will be an interesting draft as usual. 11 plus.

  9. buc4evr Says:

10 wins and I know I am delusional this time of year but aren’t all Bucs fans. I figure I will come back down to reality about mid- season…. lol.

  10. Jjuice32 Says:

We all know we will be avg. That is what Bowles is, Avg. He’s has 8 seasons of data to back this up!

  11. Pewter Power Says:

This is a predraft prediction and I still think they’re better than last year particularly on defense. Upgraded Logan hall now it’s harder to run AND you can’t abuse them in the flat or middle of the field with the ILB upgrades.

  12. Get-Rid-of-Licht Says:

    CHI – L
    GB – L
    MIN – W
    DET – L
    BAL – L
    CIN – L
    PIT – L
    CLE – W
    DAL – L
    LAR – L
    LAC – L
    ATL – LW
    NO – LW
    CAR – LW

    5-12

    still won’t get brain-dead not-ROH-worthy Fred-Flintstone-doppelganger Jameis-Winston-selecting Tom-Brady-hand-puppet Jason Licht fired

  13. Bucsfanman Says:

I selected “not sure” because 17 wins was not available!

    Go Bucs!

  14. AnonymousBUCsFan76 Says:

Considering Todd is has been a below average coach at best for his career who’s had 8 to 10 loses a year since becoming the HC in Tampa; on top of having question marks at multiple positions, I can’t be optimistic…

Imho he should’ve been fired 2 years ago but he’s still here; I guess because he’s a “nice guy”. All of that said, I have low expectations for the upcoming season; following Todd’s current trend, I don’t see us having a 10-win season; especially when you consider the fact that this may be the least amount of talent this teams had since he was hired.

  15. Obvious Says:

8 was my choice because we have enough data and history on him to back up that claim.

On the podcast the other day one of the Joes mentioned that we have to factor in a Bowles two game handicap. That’s probably true. But I didn’t.

A bounce here or there and it could be 9 wins and obviously a bounce here or there and it could be 7.

  16. Optimistic Says:

Less than 19% of the voters believed that the Bucs would have a winning season.?? Actually, more than 40 percent believe a winning season is ahead. –Joe

  17. gp Says:

Over 50 years now, at this time of the season, I have always been super optimistic. This is the very first off season that I have had difficulty building that optimism up.
Always the homer, I’ll be rooting for a win in every contest.
But considering how we ended the last season, the changes that were made, the changes that were not made, the talent lost, versus the talent gained/expected in the draft, and then the rough schedule we will be facing, it’s kinda hard to get excited about our prospects.
    Voted ‘Not Sure’.

  18. Bee Says:

5 games is the ceiling. Like clockwork there will be a losing streak and if any starter gets injured there will be no adjustments from the HC. People are expecting Baker and the offense to put together 17 games of high level play, something he and they have never done…under this HC. Plus the defense will have a many games where they look completely clueless. Where’s the pass rush again? A rookie maybe?

    5 games max.

  19. SteveK Says:

No Lavonte, no Evans, no edge rush. It feels like this will be a good Bowles special: 8 wins, 9 max. It sucks to see such mediocrity be the standard. Ah well, here’s to hoping we get some answers this year:

Is Todd Bowles the guy for Coach?

Is Baker Mayfield the 2024 version, or the 2025 one that fell off a cliff?

Can the Buccaneers be “better” without David and Evans, as some crow?

Where are the sacks coming from?

Do we have an edge rusher with 10+ sacks, if not, it’s going to be a long season.

Does the defense stop playing crappy zone that allows 3rd and 28/4th and 14.

Woof. Seems like a lot more questions than answers.

Are the Glazers pulling the strings to go cheap this year? Sure feels that way.

Is Jason Licht really that good, outside of Brady years?

  20. 80sBucsfan Says:

That non-division schedule is brutal. There are only 1 or 2 gimmies. The rest we will be underdogs. Brutal. 8-9/9-8 seem like the safe bet here. Hope fore the best though.

    -David

  21. 3.28.Evans Says:

They must really put some alternate reality tincture in the water supply in Lakeland. 2-15. Or worse.
