Productive Bucs Offenses

June 23rd, 2026

Offensive team.

Offense hasn’t been an issue for over a decade.

Back when the Bucs drafted America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston in 2015, it gave the team something it hadn’t truly had since 2012 with squirrely Josh Freeman and rookie Doug Martin running wild. And that is an offensive punch, an offensive identity.

Since the 2015 season, the Bucs, per handicapper turned stathead Warren Sharp, have only been held without an offensive touchdown seven times. And believe it or not, that’s a strong number.

Per Sharp, only the Packers and the Eagles have fewer outings without their offfenses scoring a touchdown.

So no, offense hasn’t been a problem for the Bucs since Stuart McClown attempted to pretend to be a starting NFL quarterback.

So, 28 of the 32 teams are all between 7 and 18-games. 30 of the 32 all 3-18. Jets at 34 and the next to last Giants at 21. Wow. Says A LOT about the Jets and Giants. Outside of the Rams, all the Super Bowl ‘Winners’ are between 3 and 11.

I’ll bet that it all boils down to where you’re willing to put your money, on offense or defense. Coaching is important, but talent is critical. True talent is accompanied by consistent performance. And true talent costs $$$.

So IF we’re not gonna pay Vita Vea … a very talented NT … we’d better make sure that we have someone just as talented on deck to take his place.

Too bad the defensive genius doing two jobs does them so poorly. Whelp, at least he’s got the team regressing together.

Interesting the Rams have over twice as many as we do. Must have been pre-Stafford.

Now cross reference that to the head coach whose team hasn’t scored a TD the most since 2015.
