Injury Report Reveals Tackles’ Troubles

The Bucs offense is healthier than in past weeks but new injuries are mounting.
Tampa Bay issued a formal injury report today even though the team did not practice. Left tackle Tristan Wirfs re-appeared with a no-participation classification thanks to a toe he messed up Sunday against the Panthers.
Is it serious? Joe’s not sure. Wirfs played through it at Carolina. He can be seen limping between plays.
Joe assumes Wirfs will take the medical steps/pain management offered to get on the field Sunday against the Dolphins in Miami.
Right tackle Luke Goedeke has a “limited” designation courtesy of an ankle issue.
The full report is below. Edge rusher Anthony Nelson remains out with a knee problem that arose in Charlotte. If that continues, Jason Pierre-Paul is sure to see plenty of work.

I was going to make a comment about how Jared Goff looked like Baker Mayfield out there tonight choking against a divisional opponent with the playoffs on the line, but it’s Christmas, so I won’t do that.

Something I’ve said here many times, I think the Bucs need to take a hard look at their training staff. I am well aware this is the NFL a hard hitting rugged game but darn near every Bucs player has been out at least 2 games this year and wasn’t much different last year

The bucs seriously need to look at their training team, understand there are injuries all over the leagues, however its been multiple years in a row where this team has had excessive injuries to key players above normal!

Division will be done and over Sunday afternoon when Miami wins and Carolina upsets Seattle.

@joe Unpopular opinion, am I the only one who thinks Vance Joseph should get another HC opportunity, maybe with the Bucs? That Denver defense plays extremely disciplined and I think if you want a quick defensive turnaround thats your guy. Maybe he can poach a good OC from underneath Payton?

Playoffs or not, Bowles still must be relieved of his duties. Even if we ended the season at best 9-8, he still must go because ever since he inherited a 12-5 team, he’s regressed each season. He turned an aggressive risk it no biscuit team into a nose dive of a disaster. He put the handcuffs on a 7 times Super Bowl-winner/first ballot HOF qb to turn him into a frustrated and an average Joe Blow type player. Bowles team resulted to no hunger, no aggression, no motivation, no intimidation, and the end result from 2022 to date, to a nobody.smh.

Com’on man now I agree with everything except the handcuffs on Brady. You, I and the rest of the NFL know that it was bradys inability to truly be dedicated in ’22 because of his divorce. The fact that we had to sign a completely washed Julio Jones and LeVeon bell tells you everything you need to know. Licht has got to go. Todd as well lol
