“Must Win For Tampa”
November 29th, 2025One ESPN talking head seems to think the nonsense stops tomorrow.
Big play after big play given up by the defense, screen plays to nowhere on offense, the Bucs are not looking like a playoff team but instead like a team that’s going to have a top-10 pick in the draft.
No more, said ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes.
On her podcast this week, Kimes made it clear she believes the tide turns tomorrow. One reason is urgency. If the Bucs gag against a team that has lost 8 of its last 9 games, well, then it’s time to panic.
And oh yeah, the Stinking Panthers are nipping at the Bucs’ ankles.
“Must win for Tampa, it feels like,” Kimes said. “They’ve been playing a lot of really, really good teams and losing. …
“I’m on Tampa here.”
Kimes just thinks the Cardinals are a pathetic team and there is too much at stake for the Bucs. Add all the injuries the Cardinals have, and she cannot fathom how the Cardinals have to fly cross-country and play a 10 a.m. game (their body clocks) and rise up and beat the Bucs who are now fighting for their playoff lives.
Advantage: Bucs, Kimes believes.

‘the nonsense’ – is employing Todd Bowels!

I sure hope she is right. However, with this defense I don’t know?. THe offense is getting players back and hopefully Godwin begins to be a factor and Irving as well. However if the offense stays stagnet and Baker further aggravates his shoulder they will lose this game. I have absolutely no faith this defense can stop anyone at this point. The Cardinals score points. With all that said has anyone seen Winfield, he has been missing since the Saints game and only made a casal appearence befor that. Does anybody know if he plans to attend the game?
Oh and finally, I would feel a whole lot better to turn on the game and see McCollumn has been benched. That is long over due, in my opinion

If Todd Bowles is their coach the chokeeneers will have little chance.fire todd

I agree with everything she said. It is a must win, and I don’t see how they can lose it to this Cardinals team. If they do lose THIS ONE, and the defense looks the same, while not making any adjustments and still doing the same things… Then, I have no words left to say. Because, there will be none. It should make it obvious to EVERYONE by then, at what needs to be done. Even, to the FO. You would hope to GOD anyway!

The Bucs aren’t gonna win.
The Cardinals are a much better team than their record indicates for sure.
The Bucs will lose…..

Bucs win….right the ship….all will be good!!!
November 29th, 2025 at 12:44 pm
The Panthers are going to lose to the Rams.
November 29th, 2025 at 12:45 pm
You bet it is a MUST WIN .
November 29th, 2025 at 1:27 pm
If the Bucs don’t win I think at that point there will be a lot of finger pointing. The ship could sink if the Bucs find a way to lose on Sunday. The Bucs are still 3 point favorites in Vegas so they believe the Bucs will win.

She makes me forget about the Bucs.

Mina Kimes … “Must win for Tampa, it feels like. They’ve been playing a lot of really, really good teams and losing. I’m on Tampa here.”
Bucs started 5-1, but have now lost 4 of the last 5 games. Kimes is right though; look who we lost to:
o Lions (7-5): #4 offense … we lost 24-9
o Patriots (10-2): #7 offense … we lost 28-23
o Bills (7-4): #5 offense … we lost 44-32
o Rams (9-2): #6 offense … we lost 34-7
Admittedly in there we did beat the Saints (with their #31 offense) by 23-3.
Our other loss BTW was to the 8-4 Eagles by 31-25.
So we’ve lost to 5 teams, all with very good offenses and with winning records (cumulative 41-17 record). All that’s telling me is that we’re not quite ready for Prime Time. Our defense has shown that it can’t hold up against the better offenses. Simple fix: we need better talent and better coaching to compete with the big boys.
And just for the record, I’m convinced that we’ll win tomorrow, regardless of who’s playing QB. Bucs have a decided advantage over the Cardinals in terms of our running game. Any dummy can figure this one out: RUN THE FRIGGIN BALL.
November 29th, 2025 at 2:16 pm
Bwahahaha….they didn’t seem to figure it out in any of the aforementioned losses. These aren’t just “any dummies.”

So if the Cardinals win we get a new head coach?
Go Cardinals..
November 29th, 2025 at 2:52 pm
If the Buc’s lose tomorrow, it will be a sad day and time to look for the next HC !!
November 29th, 2025 at 3:24 pm
why is it must win against some teams and ok to phone it in and lose to others.
November 29th, 2025 at 3:50 pm
Alota Bucs fan are rooting for a Bucs loss tomorrow in order expedite a new head coach
…….there is something wrong going on in the Locker room for sure
If you’ve noticed these past three weeks….this doesn’t even look like a team, but moreso it looks like a bunch of individuals playing

The great Buc teams were built on outstanding defenses. Bowles has failed to deliver even a mediocre defense. Please get a decent DC, and a HC that Licht chooses. Give Grizz another year hopefully with a healthy offense.

I guarantee Todd feels the pressure to stop the bleeding from his all too predictable coaching.
Problem is he’s not capable of scheming a defense to a particular opponent. Its one size fits all in Toddville.
November 29th, 2025 at 5:37 pm
I think Bucs win for those reasons but it is gonna be far from easy if the D can’t figure it out.
MHJ, Wilson, McBride… scary against our D. Please just drop 7 or 8 all game and don’t let Brissett go for 350. It’s ok to let them move the chains a couple times though the run game Todd. Tough to put up a quick 30 on us that way.

Thanks Captin Obvious

Based on the rosters, Bucs should win by multiple scores.
Because of coaching (80%) and injuries (20%), this will be closer than it should be.
