Bucky Irving Declares He’s Ready To Play
November 27th, 2025Bucky Irving hasn’t played in over two months. He suffered foot and shoulder injuries against the Eagles on Sept. 28. It seems his shoulder was the biggest problem.
He was able to be a full participant in practice yesterday (though the Bucs didn’t have a real practice) and all systems seem to be go for Bucky’s first football in a long while.
Bucky talked to local media for the first time since the injury yesterday and admitted being unable to contribute has been a hurdle for him. This was his first significant injury — with the Bucs or in college at Oregon.
“It’s tough, man, [especially] your first time being hurt,” Bucky said yesterday at One Buc Palace. “When I step out onto that field – like I always say – I don’t take this game for granted.
“I love what I do every day. I love my teammates. When I go out there, I show them that each and every time I get the ball, I’m trying to make plays and make things happen for this organization and this team to help them in any type of fashion to win football games.
“Being down and having something taken away from you… everything was alright because I had the right people around me.”
Well, it seems he is alright now, though he bristled when the Sage of Tampa Bay sports, Ira Kaufman, asked Bucky if he was in football shape being out for two months.
Bucs offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard was asked about Bucky’s workload if he gets back on the field Sunday against Arizona. Grizzard said it would be unreasonable for Bucky, or any player, who has missed a chunk of games to be expected to log 60 snaps in his first game back.
So it sounds like Bucky will be on a pitch count. If he plays Sunday.

Nice of him to join the team! AZ 33 Bucs 20

Use him as a scat back for a while 3rd down or obvious passing situations. Love Bucky but he is not big enough to be an every down back. Rather see him in a work share and know he will be available every week. Sky is not falling we beat Arizona this week and start to get healthy get ready for playoffs!

He seemed in good spirits….saying he knew everyone missed him….I think he’s fine.

Sorry Bro,
But not even Bucky coming back can help this team get out of this funk

This is supposed to be a “fans” site. I understand the desire to critical and to learn for improvement. But I get the impression that about 20 per cent or more of posters strongly root against the Buccaneers and want “our” team to lose. Pathetic. Life is short. Find something positive you enjoy. If Buccaneers win Sunday they will have the same record as the 2020 team after 12 games

We fans have gotten spoiled ,,, ask a few other fan bases if they would take in 6 years (yes I’m including 2025) , 6 playoffs,, 5 division titles and 1 Super Bowl championship,, Browns? Titans? Saints ? Dolphins ? Jets? Bears? Cards? Cowboys ? Raiders ? Anyone , Buhler, Anyone?
Enjoy the ride ,, there are ups and downs in football year ,, let’s start the climb Sunday, If not,,,,, well Bolts are playing good lol
November 27th, 2025 at 10:17 am
Buddha, we have the same record as the 2020 team after 11 games both were 6-5 after a 3 game losing streak. The last game of that losing streak was to the Rams on November 23rd.
Boat Parade!

Can Bucky pass rush or cover a WR? Bowles seems to think DEs and CBs are interchangeable. Might as well try an undersized HB there also with his logic.
The Defense scheme gives up points at an alarming rate. The “Guru” is doo doo.

C’mon Joe! LoL!
Ya don’t like my comments?
I get it though. You have a business. I’ll try and tone it done a bit and leave my more brash comments on X.

When the team loses all the nay sayers comes out, when we win they all jump back in. We lost the games we are supposed to with this team, hopefully offense comes back healty and defense play better. We are very spoiled fan base.
November 27th, 2025 at 10:28 am
God looking back in 2023 there was a run where we lost 7 out of 9 games ,,, like I said it’s whosever is hot at the end ,, let’s get hot

I love all of the positivity from fans who are happy with the one-and-done playoff teams that Bowles produces. This team, right now, can’t come close to beating a playoff contender. Not that the Cardinals are a playoff contender, but winning on Sunday would be a step in the right direction. Go Bucs!
November 27th, 2025 at 10:40 am
lol. We lost the games we were supposed to lose. So they are supposed to lose to good quality teams. But beat garbage teams. Then Baker had to pull comebacks to do that. This team will be lucky to make the playoffs. Most likely to get embarrassed in the first round if they do.

Good news but a little to late. Any of these injured players returning is not gonna help, the damage is done. We don’t have the time for these injured players to get back into the grove, along with our QB.

Nothing wrong with being positive. Would certainly like more things to be positive about though. Bucky coming back is a positive. The way Tucker has been running has been a positive as well. If the Bucs can find a way to use Tucker, White and Irving out of the backfield, dominate the time of possession hopefully a win can happen this Sunday.
November 27th, 2025 at 11:00 am
We lost to 5 playoff bound teams and we beat 3 playoff bound teams ,,, 8 out of 11 games have all been playoff type match ups ,, and a lot of that was down WR 1,2,3 , RB1 , RG, RT, LT, LG,,
To say in a home playoff game we couldn’t beat the Bears , Seahawks, 49ers,, Packers ,,, I think we could win

Happy Thanksgiving BUCS fans. Some of you need to stop acting like your family’s futures on the line over these Buccaneers. Let’s Go Bucky and Godwin. Happy Turkey Day!!

So some day Joe, please let us know what the controversy was all about. I am just glad he is back. Hope we use Tucker as well.

Budda, you mistake criticism for poor fans. You got it upside down. We live and die each week JUST LIKE YOU DO!
The difference between me and you is that you see pink clouds always and I see them more dark when the same errors and omission occur time after time. This is/was a good team at the start of the year and injuries made us a lot weaker. It also exposed a fatal weakness in the defense. NO pass rush, no sacks, QB picking his teeth waiting for receivers to get open, playing off 10 yards off when opponents need five, etc. This has been going on for several years now since Bowles took over. Did you see the last poll on confidence in Bowles? I’m not alone.
You can think we are fair weather fans if you want. I’ve followed this team intensely since 1978. Hoped for certain draft picks and was pleased when they signed Reddick. However, I, like many, are critical of current management. We are not Pollyannas like you and others.

Happy Turkey Day Fellow Buc Fans. Great to hear Bucky is ready. God knows we need him. Lets hope Bridgewater has a good game. If so, we win easily. If Not?

The only thing left is to get friend of the website Mike Floria to sign off on it…even if he has double secret information he’ll share with Simms off camera.
His runs/screens on the perimeter make a huge difference in loosing up the opposing defenses.

@buddha – Is Brady back? No? Don’t tell other fans how to be fans. SMDH. We have our own eyes and opinions. You are waxing poetic about something that happened half a decade ago…join us in the present my dude. #stoplivinginthepast

I love all of the positivity from fans who are happy with the one-and-done playoff teams that Bowles produces.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do you really think winning the Super Bowl every year is possible? No.
Would one playoff win a year make you happy? No.
Would going to the Super Bowl and losing make anyone happy? If so go root for the Bills……..
I want the best also but the reality we have is kinda good.
-Happy Thanksgiving!!!
No I do not see pink clouds. The loss to the Rams was miserable. For really the first time this season we were not competitive. That’s one game out of 11. The NFL now is built for mediocrity. The salary cap almost ensures it and and the violence in the game creates a situation where some very good rosters end up fighting for their lives. You can say well next man up but the next man is not the man!
