Jalen McMillan Sighting In Los Angeles

November 26th, 2025

Bucs WR Jalen McMillan glances up at the SoFi Stadium scoreboard as the Bucs warmed up prior to Sunday night’s game.

Outside of YaYa Diaby’s sack against the Rams during that Sunday night disgrace seen by the nation, Joe can only think of one good thing seen at SoFi Stadium.

(When YaYa got his sack of Matt Stafford, Joe was shocked and blurted out, “OMG, on this date in Bucs history… “)

So what was this good thing that Joe saw? It was wide receiver Jalen McMillan.

Yes folks, McMillan is alive! Joe noticed him through binoculars during pregame warmups. Joe texted his eagle-eyed photographer to confirm it was McMillan and sure enough, Jalen McMillan is alive.

No, he was not in uniform, but he traveled cross-country with his team (as did Calijah Kancey) and McMillan could be seen hanging with Baker Mayfield on the Bucs’ sideline in the second half after Mayfield was knocked out of the game.

The best thing about seeing McMillan on the Bucs’ sidelines wandering around and dapping up teammates? McMillan was not wearing a neck brace. So that’s a good thing!

Even cooler, although this may be very minor, in the photo that Joe’s photographer snapped of McMillan, he’s looking up at the cool SoFi Stadium scoreboard.

What’s so special about that?

Well, for a guy who had a broken bone in his neck and was living with a neck brace this fall, to be able to look up and bend his neck without wearing the brace has to be a good sign, no?

Joe has no idea of any timetable for McMillan’s return, though Todd Bowles said Monday he expects McMillan back this season and noted he already is running.

In the photo, it doesn’t appear too easy for him to look up. He might just be ripping one, too.

In this picture, his head is in the exact position it would be if he had the neck brace on. It healed like this–its permanent. lol.

  3. OneAndThree Says:

Will he be able to cover WR’s and RB’s on defense?

Never mind. We have DE’s and LB’s for that.

It worked very well in LA. Stellar defense from Bowles.

We should all be impressed and grateful to have such a championship caliber HC.

  4. Rod Munch Says:

Keep him away from Bum Bridgewater and his hospital balls.

But if he’s back by the end of the year, and Evans is back, and Godwin is close to full speed, and Bucky is healthy – want to talk about getting a giant infusion of talent at the right time of the year.

  5. MadMax Says:

Please let him heal longer….thats a serious injury. No need to rush him back, season is over under Todd!

  6. Fred McNeil Says:

Lord knows we could use some help. Even if it’s next year. Will Godwin be back soon? Evans?

  7. heyjude Says:

Wishing Jalen the best and good to see him without the brace.

Agree with MadMax, let him heal a lot longer. A neck injury is nothing to fool around with.

However, I don’t believe the season is over yet. There are six games left.

  8. Not Gus Swayze Says:

I had the same look on my face watching the Bucs play the Rams. Heal up Jalen.

    ^^^^^^^^

The Rod Muncher JUST figured out guys sometimes get hurt playing football! Hahaha

  10. BucU Says:

This is an article about JMac but I don’t care.

    FIRE TODD BOWLES YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. 813bucboi Says:

    rest him til next year….

use RW1 as a slot WR…keep RW1 and Tucker on the field at the same time…

    GO BUCS!!!!

  12. Bucnbeers Says:

You’ve really have to love football or maybe it’s the money, to put your life in jeopardy of another neck or spinal cord injury. Many promising careers have been cut short because of devastating injuries. Think long and hard young man.

  13. Bojim Says:

Thats good. He was going to be the guy I followed this year. Now I just want him to recover fully for himself and his family.

  14. Jeffrey Becker Says:

depends what painkillers he’s on Joe.

  15. JimBobBuc Says:

Good news about J-Mac, but it’s a drop in the bucket. I’d love to see Mauch back – any chance Joe?

  16. Jmarkbuc Says:

    I said it Sunday night..

If JMac is smart he’ll put the neck brace back on and wait for a new coach next season.

  17. Pewter Power Says:

McMillan to the rescue, Todd Bowles needs the offense to save his job again

  18. Les Says:

MAN, I WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO JMACK. AFTER HE FINISHED LAST YEAR’S SEASON ON A HIGH. WOULD HAVE BEEN A BREAKOUT YEAR FOR HIM?. BRIDGEWATER HUNG HIM OUT TO DRY

  19. Stanglassman Says:

Most professional athletes get off painkillers shortly after surgery. When Doctors aren’t getting paid to give them out like candy they tell their patients to get off them as fast as possible. Everyone knows someone who didn’t and it’s not a pretty sight.

  20. Vegasbuc Says:

If he’s not suited up I don’t care. Fire Todd

  21. firethecannons Says:

another example of Todd Bowles malpractice, the Bucs should not have had their starters in preseason games. He is already a proven player–no reason for this to of happened.

You are obviously weirdly obsessed with all things about the ass.

  23. MelvinJunior Says:

Losing JMac in the way that we did, was by far THE WORST, most needless injury that we’ve had this season. Just CRUSHING. He knows how to get open. We have desperately needed HIM. It is such a shame. He was so poised for a HUGE season, too!!!!

  24. BootyLover Says:

    @MelvinJunior

Potty humour isn’t my favorite, but it is a solid #2.

  25. Tony Says:

Was there an Ice Cube Snoop Dogg & Dr Dre sighting in LA also?

  26. Anyhony Says:

    BootyLover aka The ASS MAN!

  27. Miller5252 Says:

Whenever he comes back this year it’s gonna take him longer to get into football shape and in football rhythm. Might as well sit out the rest of the year and get 100% healed and ready for next year.

  28. Mveal2006 Says:

That is not nfl ready posture.

If he ever plays again imo it will look when Bridgewater got on tge field in tge 2nd half imo
No enthusiasm for any of the returnees either right now.

We look old and beat up, not invigorated anywhere even at our best young guys spots.
