Massive Game For NFC Seeding
November 23rd, 2025
Joe sure hopes the Bucs understand what’s on the line tonight after the Bears beat back the Steelers for a 31-28 victory in Chicago.
The Bears now sit atop the dangerous NFC North with an 8-3 record.
That means a Bucs loss tonight to the Rams would put them two games behind the Bears, three games behind the NFC West–leading Rams and at least two games behind the Eagles, the top dog in the NFC East and a team Tampa Bay lost to in September.
In short, that means the Bucs might need a miracle to catch any of those clubs in the standings, if the Bucs fall to the Rams tonight in Los Angeles and fall to 6-5.
Joe’s not assuming the Bucs automatically beat the Panthers to win the NFC South. While that’s likely, the Bucs will have long odds to secure anything but the No. 4 seed with a loss tonight.
The Bucs were the No. 3 seed in the NFC last year, a slot they achieved with an assist from the Rams. Los Angeles started backups in Week 18 and lost to Seattle. Both the Bucs and Rams finished with a 10-7 record.

If it’s a huge game with all kinds of implications… They’ll come out flat.
November 23rd, 2025 at 4:34 pm
Right now the Bucs must focus on getting as healed as possible. What was once a focus on a battle for seeding is now looking like being grateful to just getting to the post-season. Go Bucs.

What a Winston game.
He plays amazing, is the only reason they’re in the game, then the coaches make a retarded call, followed by a late 4th quarter defensive collapses and they lose in a shootout.
What awful coaching by the Giants, some truly stupid and baffling calls. Even on the OT drive, the 2nd to last play, it’s 3rd and 8, and they run up the middle.
We should want the Lions to lose that game, and instead the stupid Giants head coach handed Detroit a win.

lol no one scared of da bears. What an easy schedule, so far they’ve played 2 teams that are maybeee 1 game over .500?
Would love to get past the first round and set ourselves up for a game vs them

Yeah my buddy is Giants fan and he’s a remote throwing fool nowdays. If the Bucsd would just focus on the team they play and beat the s*** out of them they don’t have to worry about seeding. Anytime, Anywhere baby, that’s the attitude but they gotta get tougher and meaner.

We need another Hardy Nickerson as a FA I think to jump start things

Ballwasher61 – I was watching that game, and on the Giants last scoring drive, up by 3, on 3rd and goal from the 6 they call a slow developing off tackle run play, a truly stupid call. Then on 4th and goal, instead of kicking the FG, going up by 6, they go for it, no one is open, turn the ball over. Then of course the Lions go right down the field and kick the game tying FG.
Then in OT, the Giants give up, what a 70 yard TD run.
Then the Giants get the ball back. More stupid play calls. Drops by Giants WRs. Winston makes a huge 4th down run, moves the ball down the field, then Giants coaches must have got the memo from NFL HQ’s they need to lose this game, they take the ball out of Winston’s hands, just run the ball, including on 3rd and 6, then of course on 4th down, the offensive line misses a block and get a sack and game is over. This is the same dumb coach that blew that giant lead in Denver. Dart is their future QB and looks good – and he’ll certainly have a new coaching staff next year.
But the Bucs needed a Lions L there, and the Giants coaching staff gave the Lions a W.

Bloodbath tonight leading to traditional one game playoff loss.
November 23rd, 2025 at 5:04 pm
Seed?1st make playoffs. Then seed.

I’ve been thinking coaching in the nfl requires some sort of football intelligence. You witnessed the giants interim staff play stupid when they had the lions down. I look forward to the Bucs coaching brain trust wetting the bed tonight, and excellent excuses redundant excuses tomorrow.

I’ve been thinking coaching in the nfl requires some sort of football intelligence. Losing teams have half brains. Don’t adjust when they’re ahead, can’t accept any success. You witnessed the giants interim staff play stupid when they had the lions down. I look forward to the Bucs coaching brain trust wetting the bed tonight, and excellent excuses redundant excuses tomorrow.

Go Bucs!

Oh, I’m sure a lot of people, if not most, in the Bucs organization understand the implications of this game. But when you’re still dropping edge rushers into coverage to get torched and have players still constantly out of position or still busting coverages or “drifting” this far into the season, their concerns about the implications of this game are pointless.
November 23rd, 2025 at 5:13 pm
We probably losing this game because we going against the Refs because of the Rams quarterback. So they will be able to hold and they won’t call it just like last week. I just want them to be competitive.

Chicago’s turnaround is indicative of what can happen with a good coach. Hope the Glazers figure that out in the offseason.
November 23rd, 2025 at 5:23 pm
Your right Alvin Scissorhands but Bowls apparently has the dirt on the Glazers like Putin has on Rump. What difference does it make, this team is one and done if they reach the playoffs.
November 23rd, 2025 at 5:32 pm
What was that giant coach thinking? Truly mind-boggling
November 23rd, 2025 at 6:03 pm
Remaining schedules:
Buccaneers (6-4) ~ LA Rams, Arizona, New Orleans, Atlanta, Miami
and Carolina(2)
Panthers (6-5) ~ San Francisco, Seattle, LA Rams, New Orleans
and Tampa Bay(2)
I don’t see the stinking Panthers winning more than 8 games.
Bucs finish 12-5…probably the 4th seed.

Bowles has never had this team prepared in any game with high stakes. They’ll come out with no life, scared to go for the win and he will let time run out in the rams hands with over a minute left in the game and take no timeouts.
I have tried to be supportive and justify his decisions but the last few weeks no one in their right mind and defend his decision making. This team has a coaching problem, not a player problem.
November 23rd, 2025 at 6:21 pm
I had high hopes for this season. I thought this team had the talent to go as far as the NFC championship game. It’s disappointing this is where we are.
November 23rd, 2025 at 6:31 pm
Win or lose tonight, I’m not one bit worried.
November 23rd, 2025 at 6:42 pm
If we make it , I predict one and done again. Bowles specially ! 🤬🤬
November 23rd, 2025 at 6:54 pm
The seedings etc matter none at this time. We have to win the division or make a wildcard spot, not sure that even happens. How about we win one game at a time instead of assuming we will be in the playoffs. Ridiculous to think we will be in playoffs as we are about to be 3 games lost in a row with no end in sight.
November 23rd, 2025 at 7:09 pm
Go Bucs!
November 23rd, 2025 at 7:10 pm
Yep big game.
Browns have 10 sacks today more than our OLBs all year lol
Bucs need an Edge and can’t draft one
November 23rd, 2025 at 7:28 pm
Bucs are going to WIN tonight!
Mark the tape
November 23rd, 2025 at 8:07 pm
Rams can sit half their starters and still win 35-10.
I remember this feeling as a kid before Bucs games….where you ‘know’ what’s going to happen. Crappy feeling.
I hope it’s still a game by half.
Go Bucs –
