I wanna believe they will win but this is not a walk in the park and if Bucs treat this as such they will get punched in the mouth. We’ve got the back up curse and the 3-0 curse all active in one game. All the injuries. A desperate Jets team ready to get the first win under their new HC. Lots of parallels to the Broncos game last year.
IDK if we win I hope we do but anyone that thinks YES we will win for sure is just being naive and not realistic.

Something that would help is to not let Taylor and the Jet’s score a TD on the opening possession and start down 7 the first few minutes of the game. Bucs get better as the game goes on. Special teams need to show up today in a big way. O-line needs to keep the holding calls to a minimum. Defenders need to catch the ints.

I have the same feeling as last years week 3 with so many on the bandwagon and we all remember what happened last year in week 3 a total beat down

Also something else to watch for 0-2 teams are getting desperate. Hopefully that doesn’t result in cheap shots. But I would expect them to sprinkle momentum shiftting plays in. Fake punts, wildcat, flea flicker, ect. Also going for it on 4th more than usual if they get behind.

It’s the J-E-T-S, so I’m not overly concerned — but with the offensive line in shambles, this one’s going to be tough. Honestly, just getting out of the game without more injuries would feel like a win in itself, let alone pulling off the actual W.
That said, it’s Bake and Bucky, and the Bucs always seem to play their best when their backs are against the wall. So I’m feeling pretty good. Confidence around the Creamsicles is low, especially with all the injuries, but I don’t know… there’s just something different about Baker this year.
Call it swagger, call it moxie — I’d call it faith. When he needed it most, he bowed his head, prayed, found his focus, and went out there and got the job done.

We have more talent on “paper” but Not on the field. ANYBODY who believes that it’s a cake walk with “ONLY a second year guy and what equals ALL BACK UPS” on the O LINE….

I like how you put it. And I agree with the sentiment about Baker. Like I said I like how you put it.
BUT…. No O line….
I “hope” like you do but the Facts and the Odds are pulling hard against the magic we’ve seen..
It’s a HARD …”just not sure”. Likely not but I can’t count out what Baker brings to the table..

I’m expecting a loss. I think when healthy we can wipe the floor with the Jets. With all these injuries? Doubtful.
If we win though…just…wow. It would be nice to win game 3 for a change.
The next few weeks will be all about our defense…and it is still trying to find its footing because of the new talent.

DailyRich, I guess it’s time for the Bucs to break another curse. And why not? It seems to be the big theme so far this season. Sure wish I could feel more confident. Yeah, I agree, Bonzai. It sure would be nice to win game 3. We’ll know, soon enough.

We shake the slow starts on both sides today and start stacking positive reps offensively. Hoping we can make this 3 straight games no turnovers, and I’ll be interested to see how our defense attacks that NYJ front.
I like Zyon vs. Wilson as a match-up, but want to see if we put Dean on him and blanket him with that size mismatch.
Gotta bottle Hall & Allen as best as we can.

Hopefully, we blow ‘em out EARLY, like 31-3 by halftime, or something like that! So, that I could just go to hangout at DaBeach. I would be REALLLL GOOD with that.
