Joe’s here for you. And for the handful that want to play nicely together, feel free to comment through the draft below.

Be nice!

  1. MadMax Says:

I think we need a few more DB’s…. seriously tho lol

Look, whose gonna back up Big V in a 3-4….Big Mack Truck Daylon Mack is still there!

  2. CHRIS Says:

JUST GOT MY SEAN BUNTING JERSEY!

  3. MadMax Says:

Fastest 300lb guy you’ll see….need speed right Mr. Bowles?

    MACK TRUCK!
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3nDCSkZ1M4

  4. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Roll the dice! Make it random!

Watch us get a DT and the dimwits will say he’s McCoy’s replacement…a 4th or 5th rounder.

  5. TDTB Says:

I think we need to go all WR and TE for the rest of the draft. Christ, I would have been happier if the Bucs picked DK Metcalf tried to move him to DE. Dean and White have been the only satisfying picks so far. Licht is an idiot.

  6. Jason Says:

Need to go OL in 4th and 5th today and hope at least one pans out.

  7. MadMax Says:

Plus we need a BIG RB….Look at this kid….MACK TRUCK BABY!!!

  8. Buchead407 Says:

We need to fire Jason licht. What a joke of a gm

  9. MadMax Says:

The link will hopefully come through in a few mins guys….but utube daylon mack and watch some highlights….you’ll see why Id like him to fill 2 positions….DT AND situational RB!

  10. Todd Says:

Can’t wait to read all the negative armchair scouts in here who are smarter than the coaching staff.

    Y’all suck.

  11. Buchead407 Says:

Could’ve traded down for a mlb in the first Take a cb from central Michigan and 2 more dbs after drafting 5 the last 2 years

  12. Buchead407 Says:

    I miss mark Dominik

  13. Buchead407 Says:

I love your optimism TODD. After the last 5 years worked so well

  14. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

You never know, they might draft Sutton Smith at some point. He’s a great edge rusher. 29 sacks in 2 years.

?Height is his only issue, and it is why he is not ranked a lot higher. He is 6 feet tall.

  15. Kalind Says:

I like Kazir Daniels. I know he’s only got one working eye, but man can rush the passer

  16. SkBucssfan Says:

Todd I am always hopeful that the Bucs do well. But they have done little to improve the team other than go with an all rookie secondary and washed up coaches. But you are right. Things will be okay.

  17. Easy Says:

Samia from OU is still on the board and so is Charles Omenihu. I think we are thin in the secondary though, we need to draft more DBs.

  18. Easy Says:

Ben Powers would be a good pick too

  19. Miguel Grande Says:

Licht is eyeing that midget from the Game of Thrones, he ran a 3.9 40 running from a dragon. His tremendous speed will make up for his lack of length.

He wouldn’t be available this late in the draft except for a little character issue (patricide). He killed his father.

  20. MadMax Says:

Right! Omenihu is still there, dang man….Mack and Omenihu will be gone quick….best d line still available imo

  21. JabooBuc Says:

BTW, Walter Football giving the Bucs a B+ average on the picks thus far. They generally do a pretty good job scouting players but I am sure you guys all know better.

  22. miken Says:

    greedy> bunting

  23. SkBucssfan Says:

Every position needed an upgrade. So any picks can be justified. I am just not convinced they were the right picks. Time will tell I guess.

  24. FireJasonLicht Says:

Knowing Jason Lichts dumbass we are gonna draft to kickers with our next 2 picks.

  25. FireJasonLicht Says:

    Two *

  26. Miguel Grande Says:

Goat House gave the Buc’s day 2 an F and described it charitably as strange.

  27. wideleftandright Says:

Hey its 12;05 pm .Did the Bucs draft a DB yet?

  28. JabooBuc Says:

    Miken: wrong

  29. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    FireJasonLicht Says
“Knowing Jason Lichts dumbass we are gonna draft to kickers with our next 2 picks.”

If it meant finding the kicker we need and getting rid of Santos? I’d be for it.

Kickers have more scores than any other player…on most teams.

  30. Doctor Stroud Says:

My prescription: Licht can salvage this draft by choosing the best available RB (or two). I never believed in drafting RBs high anyway.

  31. LUVMYBUCS Says:

    Defensive Options
    • D’Andre Walker SAM
    • Mack Wilson MLB
    • Amani Hooker SS/STAR
    • Isaiah Buggs DT/DE
    • Amani Oruwariye CB
    • Deionte Thompson SS/STAR
    • Charles Omenihu DT/DE
    • Maxx Crosby DE/OLB
    • Renell Wren DE/DT
    • Daylon Mack NT
    • Gerald Willis DT
    • Demarcus Christmas DT

  32. LUVMYBUCS Says:

    Offense Options
    • Isaiah Prince
    • Olisaemeka Udoh
    • Michael Jordan
    • Ben Powers
    • Trayveon Williams

  33. Matt B Says:

I hope we draft Porter Gustin from USC in the 6th or 7th. Often injured, but when healthy he’s an edge rushing stud. Clay Matthews type.

  34. MadMax Says:

Bonzai, no joke, Id take K Cole Tracy if still there at the bottom of the 4th!

  35. LUVMYBUCS Says:

If you’re dividing the team into two practice fields.
I can see us drafting Mack Wilson as an insurance policy

  36. SkBucssfan Says:

The Cards just drafted Mike Evans. Good pick.

  37. SkBucssfan Says:

I mean a Mile Evans clone

  38. MadMax Says:

LUV! sup bro….man, what you thinking about our last 3 picks?

  39. Doctor Stroud Says:

Just great…the Saints AND the Raiders are in front of the Bucs in Round 4?!

  40. Bird Says:

There are still some good players here.

Dru Samia could start at right guard

    4 solid running backs too

  41. Doctor Stroud Says:

My prescription: take the best available RB and call me in the morning!

  42. Bird Says:

    Saints will go
    Running back

  43. MadMax Says:

yep, trading up for talent worth it!

  44. JabooBuc Says:

LUV: Like the Isiah Prince pick

  45. JGhoti86 Says:

Hoping to get John Cominsky, Gerald Willis/Byron Cowart and Rodney Anderson today.

Wouldn’t mind Renfro, Bruce Anderson or Darwin Thompson either.

  46. MadMax Says:

    Chauncy-gardner gone to saints

  47. MadMax Says:

    we’re on the clock…..

  48. spicoli Says:

G, Dru Samina still out there

  49. Ludicrous Speed Says:

Chauncey Gardner was a great character played by Peter Sellers in a outstanding performance from an absolute jewel of a film from 1979: “Being There.”

  50. Bird Says:

Nice. Raiders are worse then us

    Get guard from Oklahoma

  51. Joe Says:

Chauncey Gardner was a great character played by Peter Sellers

    A Peter Sellers reference!

  52. Bird Says:

    Bucs pick was quick

  53. SkBucssfan Says:

The saints took our guy. Licht is now scrambling. Lol

  54. DoooshLaRue Says:

Now can we build the trenches?

This draft crew on ABC is freaking painful to listen to.

  55. FireJasonLicht Says:

Does Jason Licht have a Twitter? If so all Bucs fan should tweet him asking for his resignation!!

  56. SkBucssfan Says:

    Finally.

  57. Dewey Selmon Says:

    Just drafted Nassib’s twin.

  58. MadMax Says:

    DE Anthony Nelson, Iowa

  59. Easy Says:

Ehhh ok. This guy will replace Will Gholston

  60. spicoli Says:

    🤷‍♂️

  61. rrsrq Says:

I need production, no I. Ever watched an Iowa game, but dammit, I watched the U, when is the last time this team grabbed a U player, Gerald Willis or Joe Jackson should’ve been the pick, dang Jason

  62. JGhoti86 Says:

    Serious question

Does the Bucs selection spot trigger a commercial break? EVERY SINGLE TIME!

I even watched a reaction/analysis of round 3 and it showed every pick, except BOTH of the Bucs selections

  63. LUVMYBUCS Says:

    MadMax

    speechless bro

  64. Tbbucs3 Says:

    https://www.gannett-cdn.com/-mm-/dbbec94c5890e1552391add6bb9d7377de679d98/c=32-142-506-410/local/-/media/DesMoines/DesMoines/2014/06/10//1402419815000-BpxzyPeCIAATzuY.jpg?width=3200&height=1680&fit=crop

    New Bucs defensive end

  65. Easy Says:

Looks like the Bucs ate banking on Spence and Barrett as our 3-4 ends. LOLOLOL

  66. Unimpressed Says:

    A new William Ghoulston

  67. LUVMYBUCS Says:

Nelson’s solid, a little stiff though – but that kid on the other side Iowa’s line A.J. Epenesa is a monster.

  68. FireJasonLicht Says:

    @Buccaneer Bonzai

I’m saying tho over Dline or Oline with our 4th an 5th? Cairo is decent enough jus gotta get him within 45 yards😁 I’d take 1 kicker in like the 6th or 7th but we literally don’t have ANYONE to play RG unless we are marching out the same revolving door we did last year.

  69. JGhoti86 Says:

Good pick. Needed 5 technique for competition and depth. Now get a DT and I’m happy w/ the front seven. And we can always add to it after the draft via a few different ways. Definitely feeling better about the D now, then when I came into the draft. Yea, I wanted a young edge rusher to groom, but this is a nice consolation prize!

  70. Unimpressed Says:

Shaq Barrett and Noah Spence will be exposed when they drop back in coverage next year. If those are our OLB’s, they need to rush the QB every single snap.

  71. FireJasonLicht Says:

And we take Anthony Nelson from Iowa? 🤣

  72. Bird Says:

So he is a true 3-4 defensive lineman – DE

Not the rush linebacker like you guys think

He is a monster. Some projected he could go yesterday in day 2
He came out early too so let’s see if he can be coached.

    Will gholston cheaper version

  73. Tbbucs3 Says:

Joe, moderation on draft weekend seems a little unnecessary don’t you think? That’s fine I’ll hop over on Pewter Report.

  74. Buc68 Says:

I thinks we desperately need to draft a cornerback. At least he’s drafting fast ones this year. Last year he went after slow cornerbacks, this year he had a thought. Maybe you need to be fast to play CB in the NFL.

  75. MadMax Says:

JGhoti, yep, its a bucs life, always happens, years now…Thats why i stopped watching cable or network tv….cut the cord…online only lol

  76. Bird Says:

    First 5 picks defense.

Well. We needed defense but this is crazy

You think the oline coaches looked at cappa and folks and said “ we are good “ and that they weren’t coached right

  77. MadMax Says:

Yep, im liking the Nelson pick….bye Gholston, sorry it didnt work out.

  78. rrsrq Says:

This was another ST pick to block kicks, we are going to be fast in ST coverage and we are gonna block FGs.

  79. jjbucfan Says:

This kid has a motor, that might be all he has but I like motors. Hard workers are okay in my book

  80. THETRUTH Says:

    Cut gholston free up money

When was last time Gators DB produced in NFL

  81. Anonymous Says:

Hes a De period! He grades out at 7.2 as 2nd or 3rd rd pick by lindy’s I like it great value .

  82. FireJasonLicht Says:

Anthony Nelson is trash what are you talking about? He won’t beat out gholston. This is seriously the Bucs Worst draft ever. None of these guys with the exception of Devin White barring injury will be starting. Which wouldn’t be a big deal if we didn’t need a STARTING RG. Unless that is you’re comfortable with Benenoch going back out there😂😂

  83. MadMax Says:

LOL Luv! yeah, kind of just have to trust Bowles at this point! Lets give em a chance to play first. We’ll find out, thats fo sho!

  84. Adrian Says:

Gholston gone. I’m pumped up. Noah and Barret jpp. Nassib pressuring qb. McCoy vea inside. White. David chasing rb /te and a bunch of young guys in the back end holding to Julio , Thomas and other wr. And offense barber and Rojo bulldozing defenses !

  85. MadMax Says:

Yeah, what has Gholston done? Expensive trash….get the fk outta here!!!

  86. JGhoti86 Says:

    MadMax

Haha. I knew they cutto commercials when we are on the clock. But this draft, it seems like EVERY pick they are.

They could’ve at least shown 1/2 of them for us Buc fans as a way to make up for 7 weeks away from home (Mike North admitting to wanting a redo)

  87. Perimeter Blocker Says:

My son and I always kid how they go consistently to commercial breaks when we pick. I wonder if it’s because we are a smaller market???

  88. SKBucsFan Says:

Did John Lynch hang around Jason Licht too much when he was inducted into the Ring of Honor? He just pulled a Licht and drafted a Punter in early Round 4

  89. MadMax Says:

    run on rb’s

  90. Bird Says:

    Dang

    Samia gone
    Some teams just draft well

  91. Ludicrous Speed Says:

So John Lynch had to use his high 4th round pick to replace the kicking specialist that we now possess.

  92. MadMax Says:

    Yep, perfect RG….allowed no sacks

  93. admin Says:

Joe, moderation on draft weekend seems a little unnecessary don’t you think?

Believe it or not, Joe cannot babysit comments that wind up in moderation each minute of the afternoon today. Joe is at One Buc — and has been all weekend — and sort of distracted with work. When Joe gets the chance, he will obviously approve comments that wind up in this queue for whatever reason.

  94. geno711 Says:

    On Anthony Nelson:

STRENGTHS: Large-framed body type with well-distributed body mass…uses his long levers to lock out, run his feet and rock tackles backwards…quick out of his stance with forceful hands to get blockers off-balance…relies on his long-arm move to create speed-to-power…understands hand placement to properly pushpull…stout on the edges to contain the run…consistently gives extra effort, raising the level of his teammates…Academic All-American the past two seasons and graduated with a degree in accounting (December 2018) and 3.8 GPA…production increased each of the last three seasons.

Power is the name of the game for Nelson, who is a classic bull rusher, extending his long arms into blocks and grinding with his leg drive.

    Will not win with speed.

    GRADE: 2nd-3rd Round (#70 overall)

6′ 7″ 271lbs and a ridiculous 83 wing span. My Iowa Hawkeyes buddy said his new Buc’s Jersey and he batted down a bunch of passes.

  95. MadMax Says:

Dang, kitties drafted another DE…Christian Miller

  96. LUVMYBUCS Says:

We slipped up when we let Jon Robinson walk lol

  97. ROFOBuc Says:

Nelson is a good pick here. Long live Licht!!

  98. Rojas Says:

No Oline picks yet.. an it’s the biggest question mark on the team.

  99. geno711 Says:

CBS Sports draft writer Chris Trapasso lists Iowa DE Anthony Nelson as a “Plan B” for teams that miss out on Ohio State EDGE Nick Bosa.
Bosa is likely going in the first five picks — it’d be an upset if he falls out of the top three right now — but Nelson (6’7/271) could be a nice fallback option, as Trapasso mentions. “[Nelson] has the most advanced repertoire of pass-rushing moves at the edge rusher spot in this class after Bosa and demonstrated high caliber athleticism at the combine with a three-cone drill time in the 92nd percentile at his position as well as a broad and vertical in the 82nd and 87th percentiles respectively,” he writes. Right now, it looks like Nelson will be a Day 2 pick, and he could be a steal in that range.

  100. geno711 Says:

Bleacher Report’s Maurice Moton lists Iowa DE Anthony Nelson as the “most overlooked” defensive lineman in the 2019 NFL Draft class.
It’s not the first time we’ve heard Nelson being an underrated part of this class, with Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports mentioning that Nelson was a “plan B” for teams who couldn’t get a player like Nick Bosa. “Nelson recorded 23 sacks over his last three years at Iowa,” Moton writes. “A club desperate for a pass-rusher will find a spot for him on the defensive line, but his combination of size and traits may cause some debate in draft rooms.” Don’t be surprised if Nelson goes on Day 2, and he could be a steal there or early on Day 3.

  101. BridleOaks Buc Says:

    Ludicrous Speed…..You’ve gone to plaid!!!

  102. jjbucfan Says:

Panthers are having themselves a draft. I love this Nelson pick, good value. The more I read about these dudes we picked the further I step away from the ledge. I’m not ecstatic about it, but it’s growing on me. Trade up for Elon guy and call it a day

On Anthony Nelson: Academic All-American the past two seasons and graduated with a degree in accounting

Well, there ya go. And if he can’t get to the QB, at least he can help us with our taxes.

    Ludicrous Speed…..You’ve gone to plaid!!!
    ===========================

May the Schwartz be with you.

  105. MadMax Says:

    Benny Snell gone….steelers

  106. Bird Says:

“Your Schwartz is bigger then mine “

Sucks. All these running backs going and nothing.
I guess arians really likes our backs

  107. Bird Says:

Surprised with running back to panthers

They drafted Ohio state kid with McCaffrey
Just glad someone else taking snaps from McCaffrey

Devin white and his horses got em

  108. Bird Says:

    Whoop

    Wrong team.

  109. Bird Says:

    Most good backs are gone

    Oh well

  110. spicoli Says:

So yeah I am certain that BA wants Lihct to get fired. Passing on some guards to compete for a starting job just to draft a DE for depth. There seems like no direction going on with the picks past round 1. If you pick enough DB s at least one of them has to pan out strategy

  111. MadMax Says:

Omenihu and Mack truck still there….plus some rb’s…”some”

  112. MadMax Says:

    Pats got a qb…jarrett stidham…interesting

  113. Ludicrous Speed Says:

That’s just great. First they take Chase Winovich from us. Now Jarrett Stidham. Well, that’s why they’re the Patriots… and we’re the Bucs.

  114. Bird Says:

Anthony Nelson, DE/DT, Iowa A Grade
No, I’m not just in a good mood. These picks are awesome! The teams here are taking better prospects than those chosen in Round 3. Anthony Nelson could have snuck into Round 2 without much criticism. He was announced as a linebacker, but he looks to be a 3-4 defensive end in Tampa’s new scheme.

    From Walter football

  115. Bird Says:

    Wwwwhhhhhhaaatttt

    Ooookkkkaaaayyyh

  116. JimmyJack Says:

Spicoli………Don’t be ridiculous. They drafted a Edge player cause they are rebuilding the defense.

The only reason Bruce took this job is because of the offense. He knows he can win with it but only if he can get the defense playing solid ball.

As far as G is concerned Bruce has been if the league for a long time and has seen countless interior lineman get trained and earn starting gigs that weren’t high end draft choices. Bruce knows that reality is that G is one of the easiest positions in the league to find so long as you have a good coaching staff that can train them properly.

The need for a RG is there but the need to blow a top draft choice for a G is completely overblown by fans.

  117. Ludicrous Speed Says:

All right. Nobody panic. The FIFTH ROUND is coming. And that’s the round that brought us Caleb Benenoch! Wait! Bad example. Make that Ian Beckles. Yeah, that’s it.

So you see? Even if he never becomes a great player, at least he might turn out to be a famous radio talk show know-it-all.

  118. Doctor Stroud Says:

Guess what?! I’ve got a fever…and the only prescription is more bell cow! I would prefer a RB here, but OL is fine, too.

  119. JimmyJack Says:

I look at our G position and see we got two Guards that both have a lot of experience. These journeyman players are good depth. Then you have a raw undeveloped guy with a lot of potential.

You give that group some serious competition in camp. If you do that and still cannot find a RG then you have lousy coaching. This is just a fact.

If you needed 1st and 2nd round picks to fill every position you will never be good.

Our coaches have enough pieces to fill the RG position. Now get to work and do your job!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!

  120. MadMax Says:

Daylon Mack still there for the 5th round…gotta be kidding me!

  121. JimmyJack Says:

    Get another Edge piece.

Get this d fense right starting year one. Don’t worry about the offense. Bruce had got it covered……..Or maybe you just don’t think Bruce was lucky every single year with ever offense he had ever coached. Tampa Bay will be no different, Bruce will get this offense humming ng like he always has.

  122. Joeypoppems Says:

Im all for continuing to add to the trenches, but Rodney Anderson has the chance to be a legit stud. He is worth the risk at this point

  123. MadMax Says:

    we’re on the clock….

  124. JimmyJack Says:

    Mack is avialable?

Giants just took the Wisconsin MLB.

  125. Easy Says:

Charles Omenihu is right here to draft!!

  126. Joeypoppems Says:

    oh boy…

  127. MadMax Says:

Something is up with LB Mack Wilson…hes falling too much!

  128. Easy Says:

    This is ridiculous

  129. Anonymous Says:

    Oh no! A kicker!!

  130. Ludicrous Speed Says:

Our worries are over. We got our kicker!

  131. MadMax Says:

K Matt Gay! we have a kicker named Gay….oh boy! lol

  132. SC Bucs Fan Says:

    This will not be popular

  133. Tbbucs3 Says:

Yep it’s official, Jason Licht is trolling us

  134. Mikadeemas Says:

    Oh NO! A kicker!!

  135. Mord Says:

    “Mormon Janikowski” – Rich Eisen

  136. Bird Says:

    Ok

I’m done I can’t believe it He should be fired
    Dude and the name

  137. Matt B Says:

Wow. Licht’s got big huevos to draft another kicker. An early 5 too.

  138. JimmyJack Says:

I love it. For same reason I loved the Agaryoio pick.

  139. TB22 Says:

Licht is fricken trolling us now….another kicker?

No RB or OL or DL?

    Fire Licht now.

    Good lord–this is an embarrassment!!

  140. Mikadeemas Says:

    BPA?!?!

  141. SKBucsFan Says:

YES!!!! Nailed it Licht. Personally I would have traded up for a kicker ranked in the 300’s, but you got your man.
Al we can hope now is that Ariens is a miracle worker.

  142. DBAM Says:

Could not make this ***t up. 🙂

  143. Durango 95 Says:

What you just heard is the sound of Joe’s head exploding.

  144. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

You have got to be kidding me! We are the laughingstock of all professional sports with no end in sight.

  145. Bird Says:

If I could meet Jason Licht right now I would beat his big ass. And he is bigger then me

I mean this kid does not get drafted

  146. MadMax Says:

8/30/18: Gay was very accurate for Utah in 2017, connecting on 88 percent of his field goals (30-of-34). He had a long field goal of 56 yards, which he made twice. Gay also had field goals of 53 and 50 yards. He missed twice in the 40-yard range.

  147. Ludicrous Speed Says:

And he’s ranked the 328th best player in this draft. You can’t beat that for value.

  148. ATrain Says:

    Is there something I missed

Did our OLine change from last year

    A KICKER

    JASON GET OUT

  149. Costa Rica John Says:

Lol. Light just kicked us all in the balls with that pick.

  150. JimmyJack Says:

It’s a fifth rounder. If the guy wins the job we are better team and is a good choice.

  151. TB22 Says:

    Licht is a F’n idiot.

    I’m done with these losers.

Glazers–please sell the team. You have no desire to field a winning team.

  152. MadMax Says:

    But Cole Tracy:

4/25/19: The graduate transfer Tracy was excellent for LSU in 2018, nailing a lot of clutch field goals, including going 5-for-5 to help the Tigers pull off an upset over Georgia. In 2018, Tracy was 29-of-33, with all but one of his misses coming in the 50-plus-yard range. His long was 54 yards. He also didn’t miss an extra point.

Prior to playing for LSU, Tracy was one of the top kickers in Division II. He won the award for the best kicker in Division II for 2017 after he was 27-of-29 in his junior year playing for Assumption College.

  153. Rojas Says:

Done with the draft.. lol turning it off. Licht is a joke of a GM.

  154. Alvin Scissors Harper Says:

Jason Toad Lichter. How can anyone defend this guy? What a freakin’ joke. With all our needs, a kicker.

  155. SKBucsFan Says:

Or we could have got him as a free agent Jimmy Jack .

  156. TBUC North Carolina Says:

Meathead strikes again!!! Worst GM in NFL history!!! I’m disgusted and his drafts seem like I’m having a nightmare!!

  157. MadMax Says:

Cole Tracy was there!!!! GDMNIT Jason!!!

  158. Bird Says:

I tried to be positive until now and he knew he blew aguayo

So he went this guy who no one picks

  159. Rafterman61 Says:

I thought we just signed a kicker WTF ? Santos WTF ? Why do we need a another Kicker WTF ? Hmmmm Santos and Gay to Manchester United for their best forward

  160. Joeypoppems Says:

I defended the 3 DB picks last night… I got nothing for this one lol

  161. Doctor Stroud Says:

@Licht: the kicker would have been there in later rounds! Somebody got “liquored up”.

  162. Miguel Grande Says:

Terrian Lannister from West Eros U still on the board.

Does Gump still have a job?

The Glazer’s aren’t allowed to use devices on the Passover.

  163. Jarhead Says:

LOL, I would have paid to see some of your live reactions to this pick!!

  164. BridleOaks Buc Says:

And right now, Bucs fans heads are exploding everywhere!🚀

  165. Rafterman61 Says:

Here’s a thought pair Gay and Mac in a trade for a sixth round pick so we can get another DB

  166. Colonel_MP Says:

Could’ve been an undrafted FA ???

  167. Bird Says:

    Mad max

    Jimmy jack

A kicker had zero value now. This kid could have been taken in the 7th to avoid undrafted

I give up. Thought he knew. I am done with Licht

His jersey sales will have a meaning and not to be non PCU

  168. TB22 Says:

“With the first overall pick of the 2020 NFL draft, the Bucs select…”

“With the first overall pick of the 2021 NFL draft, the Bucs select…”

“With the first overall pick of the 2022 NFL draft, the Bucs select…”

“With the first overall pick of the 2023 NFL draft, the Bucs select…”

“With the first overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft, the Bucs select…”

    ….

This draft has ensured that this franchise will be a laughinstock for many years to come.

Thank the Glazers and thank Licht.

Arians should just quit now. He is in a hopeless situation.

  169. MadMax Says:

    Hunter Renfrow gone

  170. Doctor Stroud Says:

What’s worse is that this is, I believe, the first kicker taken in the entire draft! Judge this pick based on when the second kicker is taken.

  171. MadMax Says:

Thank god im drinking….need more now!!!! The fk? Licht?

  172. MadMax Says:

Muthafn Omenihu and Mack still there!!!!

Get them LICHT!!!!!!!!!!! Please make up for all of this!!!!!

  173. Miguel Grande Says:

The Gay kicker is what’s called the coup de grace.

Just when the draft is flopping around on the floor, mortally wounded, you put it out of it’s misery with a bullet through the bucking ear.

    Fire Licht tonight.

  174. Matt B Says:

What undrafted free agent kicker wouldn’t want to have come to Tampa to compete? This wasn’t necessary in the 5th round or the 6th round. Would’ve liked to have seen Renfrow to fill our hole in the slot.

  175. Doctor Stroud Says:

The ultimate troll move by Licht would be to trade up into this round and draft a CB.

  176. JimmyJack Says:

Bird you are the one who says a kicker has zero value. Ponder that.

  177. MadMax Says:

Well, for fks sake, we have been needing a kicker, so hopefully, the sound of disappointing thuds against leather is over with the pick of Gay! (couldve got him later tho….omenihu, mack truck still there…i mean come on man….jeeze!

  178. Bird Says:

    Jimmy jack

I read your posts. You may see mine.
It has zero value cause he goes undrafted

Hunter Renfrow went right behind us.
Sorry man. You have no clue.

  179. Bird Says:

He may have gone in the 7th

After Licht went up to take a kicker in the second
I hope both of you have nightmares tonight.

He may be a great kicker and I hope he is.
    He was
    Ranked 300 plus

Meathead strikes again!!! Worst GM in NFL history!!!
    ===============================

TBUC: You are a Meathead. Jason Licht : What did you call me? TBUC : A Meathead. Dead from the neck up. Meat – Head.

  181. MadMax Says:

If Mack and Omenihu are still there for us in the 6th, and we pick a DB or another punter, im officially suiciding!!! LOL, jk!

  182. Joeypoppems Says:

Im hoping they take a shot on Rodney Anderson. Healthy Rodney Anderson is a stud 3 down RB.

What are we really gonna get with a 6th rd pick? Backup? Special teams player? developmental guy?

Take a shot on a potential stud

  183. JimmyJack Says:

I’m sorry Bird. You obvisously have Intel from the GMs around the league. I didn’t mean to argue with you. Guess I was wrong on that then, since you told me about these things you know that the rest of us don’t.

Could you please do me a favor though and share some of your Intel you get about the draft picks before the draft happens. It would be really cool to watch the draft and know some of these things beforehand like you do.

  184. BridleOaks Buc Says:

I’m quoting Mrs. Bridleoaks Buc, “Kickers win games…or they lose them. Get over it and move on with your life. Seriously, you said you were going to mow the lawn anyway…”

  185. MadMax Says:

And there goes Omenihu to the texans… gj houston…great value!!!!

  186. MadMax Says:

And big Mack went to the Ravens 🙁

  187. MadMax Says:

    pats just drafted a punter…..

  188. MadMax Says:

fk it, im out….nobody else im pulling for

  189. Joeypoppems Says:

    https://twitter.com/EvanPetzold/status/112195704644478976

Yea, Im a fan of this pick

  190. JimmyJack Says:

Anybody that gets angry over a fifth round choice in April has their priorities way out of wack……….Do you know what a high percentage of with rounders become?

Special teamers………Ponder that and go ask Mommy for a warm ba-ba.

  191. Joeypoppems Says:

If Aguayo was never picked in 2016 fans wouldn’t be as upset about a 5th round kicker lol.

  192. Joeypoppems Says:

Browns took a Kicker too, I feel better now lol

  193. JGhoti86 Says:

Kickers/punters being drafted all over the place now. You could argue, we needed one more than most teams. Especially the last few years. At ease now fellas!

  194. SKBucsFan Says:

I know the 6th and 7th round usually doesn’t matter, but I am really curious to see if it is possible for Licht to screw up even more. I don’t know how, but it is exciting to wait and see.

  195. SC Bucs Fan Says:

Ill be impressed if anyone knows anything about the remaining players we pick. Ok, players anyone picks.

  196. Ludicrous Speed Says:

“It’s not personal Sonny, it ‘s strictly business.”

I just think Licht has a good feel for the market he’s in, and he foresees that kicker’s jersey becoming a BIG seller.

  197. Bird Says:

    Jimmy jack

    Please stop.
    A kicker in 5th
    I know 49ers took a Punter before
    After Aguayo. Wow.

With guys on the board. Kickers are maybe 7th

It’s like saying give me a non alcoholic beer before an actual beer
    He was ranked 300
    Jimmy jack was ranked 2,500,502

  198. Bird Says:

    Ludicrous

    Over /under 50

    Lifetime jerseys

  199. Bird Says:

    Jimmy jack

He wasn’t even the top rated kicker
I would rather have you making posts on this site

    You miss the point.
    I know you are positive

But , he was drafted after the draft

  200. TBUC North Carolina Says:

Yep Ludicrous!! Licht’s still supporters r going straight to the store to get that kicker Jersey…. with Gay on the back of it!!!

  201. Joeypoppems Says:

Are we really making Gay jokes now? What is this 5th grade?

  202. Dewey Selmon Says:

At this point draft Tyree Jackson Qb Buffalo or Rodney Anderson Rb OK

  203. lurker Says:

ESPN ranks him as 1 position rank for placekickers.

  204. TBUC North Carolina Says:

Joeypoppems. I’m in 4th grade right now!! I don’t start 5th grade until August!

  205. SC Bucs Fan Says:

Joeyp what else would you expect from this board

  206. Bird Says:

    TBuc

Just got word. You are now a middle schooler

  207. TBUC North Carolina Says:

    Almost!! Counting the Months down!!

  208. Doctor Stroud Says:

@SC Bucs Fan: point taken, and I will be the first to admit that I have little to no time to do any homework on these prospects (other than rely on sites like these and maybe buy a draft guide), and I certainly don’t watch any college games. What I’m critical of is that the front office is choosing not to address the more immediate needs that most Bucs fans do know about. Licht is fairly good about identifying getting undrafted players, but it’s risky to rely on this strategy in building a franchise. Even if he hits on a lower round/undrafted pick every once in a while, it hasn’t helped the Bucs win.

    What is this 5th grade?
    ==============

I’ll have you know, sir, that although I’m already in junior high school, that I read at a sophomore level.

  210. TBUC North Carolina Says:

Damn Straight Ludicrous!! Congrats to U !!

  211. Ludicrous Speed Says:

    I know to you
    I may look old,
    Hope this statement
    Ain’t too bold, but

Here comes the judge, here comes the judge, here comes the judge, here comes the judge, here comes the judge…

  212. Matt B Says:

Porter Gustin or Beau Benzschawel please

  213. Dewey Selmon Says:

I would of taken david sills over Scott Miller

  214. TB22 Says:

    A 5-9 174 lb wr….

    F

  215. Joeypoppems Says:

Bengals took Rodney Anderson. I officially dont care about the rest of this draft lol

  216. rrsrq Says:

    Last chance

  217. TBUC North Carolina Says:

Gotta think Arians May have taken this job to get an early start on finding a retirement home in Florida! It’s hard to evaluate a draft for 3 to 4 years but I’ll get an early start on it myself!! D to D- The evaluators are going to grade this draft in the bottom 3 for this year! It would get an F if it weren’t for White!

  218. rrsrq Says:

Tell me Gerald Willis III was already off the board

  219. Jarhead Says:

    Buccaneers Fans = F

  220. Ludicrous Speed Says:

Can somebody explain this? ESPN lists 31 WRs from Position Rank: 17, Overall Rank: 117, Grade: 69 all the way to Position Rank: 52, Overall Rank: 373, Grade: 31.

Their last ranked WR was listed overall at THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY-THREE

and the WR we took didn’t even make that list.

    How is that even possible?

  221. TBUC North Carolina Says:

    Lichts got a feeling!! Ludicrous!!

  222. TBUC North Carolina Says:

I’m surprised he didn’t package some picks to move up into the 2nd to get him before anyone else did!!

  223. Ludicrous Speed Says:

Then we have a need at DT and could have had Gerald Willis from the U, top overall ranked player left with Position Rank: 10, Overall Rank: 104, Grade: 71

and we take a guy with Position Rank: 17, Overall Rank: 195, Grade: 56
He’s listed as a a tall (something you don’t want in an interior lineman where you’re trying to get under your opponent) defensive tackle with below-average weight, length and top-end speed.

How is this what you want when you could have had the top rated player left, who’s listed as a highly disruptive interior defensive lineman with a quick first step and shock in his hands to quickly penetrate gaps. He locates the ball and chases with good effort.

I just don’t get this at all.

  224. TBUC North Carolina Says:

I keep looking at our draft and laughing. My son has been asking “dad, what r u laughing at?? I told him the Bucs draft!! His answer was … “this years draft too”!! The Glazer youngins SUCK! Fire Gump!

  225. TBUC North Carolina Says:

Time for Meathead to trade back into the 7th round for a punter!! He’d give up next years 1st

  226. JGhoti86 Says:

    TB22

Are you referring to “Hollywood” Brown w/ those measurable listed? The measurables that you automatically give an F grade for w/ no other reasoning. Wowzers…you’ve outdone even yourself on that troll of a comment. Cheers bro!

  227. PanthersSuck! Says:

I feel like this is the worst draft in the history of the organization.

  228. Nathen Says:

How has this team changed at all? We just added rookies where we already had rookies and left neglected holes as is. This is the same team with the same weaknesses as last year but different coaches and scheme.

  229. TBUC North Carolina Says:

All undrafted free agent O lineman, d lineman, RB’s … aww, to hell w it…. ALL undrafted free agents other than wide out and Tight ends should be drooling to sign w the Bucs after this draft!!

  230. Rod Munch Says:

I want to thank Licht for drafting a kicker and helping me hit the over on the number of references to kickers in the draft thread. The over/under was 6.5, and boy, I was getting nervous, but Licht came through for me! What a guy.

  231. Rod Munch Says:

LOL! The whinny douchebags who just repeat what they hear other people say and never bothered to look at the depth chart.

If you’re literally so dumb you think the Bucs drafted in areas they didn’t need… when they nothing but Davis and an injury-waiting VH3 at corner, then you haven’t paid any attention to anything.

The Bucs had no choice but to take corners and hope one of them is good enough to play.
